I get all my produce here always fresh. Good quality products. They have more non dairy products here then some places. Store is cleanly and neat. Has a good deli and even fresh sushi that’s very good. Have a self checkout line too so that’s a plus.

Way to go store manager Rich for thinking outside of the box and going above and beyond and ensuring that we could correct my issue with the deli slicing smaller chunks of cheese to ensure there wasn’t a danger to staff.

I love their product offering but recently bought a packaged product full of mold and a well expired deli item on the same trip. Had to call twice to try to get a refund and then was told I needed to come in for a refund. Did not return my message I left. They need to reevaluate this process. I wonder how many of these moldy packages are still sitting on the shelf? Very little concern or questions asked.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience at your store.On October 20, 2023, I visited your meat and seafood counter with the intention of purchasing 4 pounds of fresh Snow Crab Clusters, which are a product available at this counter. Unfortunately, my experience was very unpleasant. The employee in charge of the counter at that time not only refused to sell me the fresh Snow Crab Clusters but did so in an extremely impolite manner. Instead of accommodating my request to purchase the product in its fresh state, he abruptly insisted that I go to the frozen meat section and purchase the frozen versions of the product.This unprofessional behavior and lack of consideration for my preference led me to make the decision to leave your establishment and seek the product at another market.

Its one of the Nicer Supermarkets. Not too big but just the Right size to get all your stuff. But it is more expensive than the other supermarkets.The Store is usually kept well and clean. The Workers also seem to be friendly. The Produce Quality is really nice and fresh.

First and last time. Mind you I went for an instacart order, they didn’t carry more than 50% of the products they let customers order, while really only effects the shopper… on top of it, the workers are very rude and judgemental, like I said I was shopping for instacart and the cashier is straight judging the fact I’m buying non alcoholic beverages as if that’s not what they ordered… then after judgemental comments I told them it was for instacart and then they’re like “oh that makes sense not just stocking up” EVEN IF I WAS, it’s your job to sell it so mind your business. I’ll never be back

Love, love, love shopping here. Everybody's so friendly and nice. Easy in easy out.Store's always clean. Lots of organics and interesting grocery items.I just love their fresh pressed juices. Reasonable too, not outrageous like other places.Happy shopping!

Grrreat and great people. I love the different food I found. The Korean Noodles were the 💣💥💣💥💣💥Gotta go back and get more of the noodles. It was my 1st time shopping there. Don't forget to try this. OMG sooo delicious 😋

Came in for the $5 sushi. Never been to a fresh thyme before. I asked the chef about how to get the $5 sushi and he snapped at me and was so rude. He told me if I knew what I wanted I could order implying I was stupid or something. Left with nothing. Drive out of my way to come here.

I love this store. Now that the basic supermarket prices have sky rocketed, the specialty stores are very competitive with the others. The produce and meat department are outstanding. They offer a wonderful variety. Just like any store, you have to watch for the higher priced items but if you know your numbers, you’ll find what’s best to shop here. Great bulk food selection as well.

Pricing on meat and produce is great. Lots of sales that often lead to lower cost than other major retailers. This is my number one place to go when stocking up on produce. A great variety and always very fresh. They have the best grapes!

This place is great there is a variety of fresh vegetables and fruit. The meat and deli section is very well stocked and there is also a wide selection of baked goods. The prices are fair for the quality in my opinion.

I truly love this store.The employee's a and employer's are so kind ,hospitable, and generous. When it come too an item or something they have. They will reserve it for you if you call ahead. Even put your name on the item. Especially, if you shipment haven't come in, especially in the meat department. Everything is so fresh speaking of their produce, and well organized, and arrangement. I refer many of family and friend to visit this store. I TRULY Thank the store for their service!

Extreamly nice and helpful staff. Great guy in produce, great cashier, great store night manager! Coffee smelled terrific and flowers looked it. I really enjoyed my visit, even though they were out of freshly-baked croissants (the reason I went in the first place).

What a great supermarket! This place is one of the more upscale and organic grocery stores around, with less name-brand options and more off-brand healthier alternatives (sorta like Trader Joes, but they have more name-brand stuff then they do). The store is usually quite clean and well stocked with good food. The staff are excellent also, for they are always nice and willing to help. The meat counter is one of the better reasons I go here for because of the wide selection and good quality (also the guy at the counter is great). I would really recommend shopping here!

Love this fresh market. They have products that I can’t get elsewhere in town and pricing for most items is competitive if not better than most other stores in town. Good resource for residents in Portage, Michigan looking for something different when it comes to acquiring groceries and other things. Highly recommend.

Great for people who primarily cook real food, not boxed rubbish. Whilst there is a decent section of packet, boxed, frozen, canned etc the focus is definitely for a healthier approach. We LOVE the bulk section, great choice and prices. Produce section is well priced, comparable to Trader Joe's for most. We have only had soft fruit and potatoes from here so far, all good quality, the strawberries far surpassed anywhere else. We have enjoyed access to a juice bar whilst shopping a number of times and our young kids get excited for the free fruit. All the staff have been extremely friendly and helpful so far.I went today to grab a cookie and coffee, the half and half jug wasn't out, I asked staff if they knew where it was. Staff members were extremely helpful and thorough. Though none of them knew, they opened a bottle of creamer for me, nothing was too much trouble. The creamer is now available for other customers, whilst they track down the jug. We love shopping here, quality food and staff.

Great products and selection in a convenient location. They have quite a large amount of vegan/plant-based items. Their produce selection is pretty excellent. The Fresh Thyme brand of body wash is one of my favorites. You can download their app to take advantage of coupons they have available or search for items. Staff is always very personable and helpful.

Really like this place. Sort of a replacement for D&W which is now gone.Nice finding things of a different brand of things to buy. Deli prices are actually very reasonable.Bakery is really good as well.And you can make your own fresh peanut or almond butter right there in the store! How cool is that?!?Anyways, fun place to shop!

Awesome variety of fresh produce and meats! In general, they have a good selection of healthy foods. They also have a ton of gluten free foods, something I appreciate as I have several friends and family members who cannot eat gluten. The interior is cool, it definitely feels like you're at an outdoor market, and it smells great when you walk in here! It can be expensive depending on what you get, but this place is the definition of what you pay is what you get.

My wife went and checked the place out with our daughter and she said it was a nice place to shop. They have loads of vegetables, fruits, an awesome seafood, chicken and beef selection at the butcher. My daughter got a create your own sandwich which was good for two meals. My wife got us creamy chicken and wild rice soup, which was so delicious, and only $2.99 for a medium!!! They have some really great prices on most of their items and the sale items are superb. My wife feels that this might give whole foods a little run for their money. Go check it out. Oh and very kid friendly with free fruit choices right as you walk in, along with crayons and paper to color. I recommend.

Me and the fam did not know what to expect coming into Fresh Thyme Market, but we were very delighted to see all of the treasures they had inside. With farm-to-table products, Fresh Thyme is more like a farmers market than a grocery store. Inside, they have a butcher shop, a bakery, a produce area, grocery, and an area for supplements and health foods. The workers were very nice, and they have a fantastic selection of produce and health food items. They're not expensive, and the quality of the products is phenomenal. So apparently you can have your cake and eat it too! We don't live in Kalamazoo County, but making the trip to Fresh Thyme, even just to check off the grocery list is well worth it.

Well organized, helpful staff, convenient location. It's easy to navigate the store, it's not too crowded. The staff is well educated on their departments, to the point of expertise- for the most part. The only issue was the pizza I bought was burnt, and it's q bit pricey. Understandably so, because it's fresh straight from the farm.
