I love Aldi. Great prices and great foods. The Aldi finds aisles are always a bonus! I live never knowing what I’ll find there. So far, there’s not much that doesn’t compare with all of the big name brands that are simply overpriced. The new self checkout was originally a no for me, but turns out it’s quite convenient for the more frequent stops. I’m hoping they don’t get taken out due to the theft I know they’re expert. Thank you Alsi for saving us money for the last 7 years!

Great fresh vegetables, and the best gluten-free bread I have ever found. Note: They recently went to a computerized, self-serve only check-out and only accept credit or debit cards. They do not accept cash.

I’ve been going to this Aldi since they’ve opened and have never had an experience like I had today there or at any store. They have a cashier working there by the name of Colleen, and as long as she is still employed I will never step foot in there again! She is very racist, rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional! I’ve never been more embarrassed in a store in my life. She needs to be trained on proper customer service adequate!

It is not the value it was months ago. Today there was no cashier only self checkout. Many shelves were empty. I think my shopping trips will be limited here in the future and I am disappointed. I loved Aldi.

Love me some Aldi! Always find the prices to be great. Store is always clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Because you have to pay a quarter to use the carts (which you get back when you return), the parking lot is always cart free! Limited selection is only downfall, but overall very great!

I have been unable to walk for a while...just enough to get to car. This aldi in portage michigan has been a life saver. I do pick up and the gals shop and put my groceries in car are so sweet. I tried meijer and they were nasty. This service is keeping me independent.

P.s: Cashiers need to be trained to have better customer service. Few of them dump your groceries into the cart next to them after the scan them.Amazing value for money. It's not gigantic like other retailers because it doesn't needs to be. We love the fact we can get in, shop and get out within 10 minutes. Good range of groceries, food items and general merchandise.Just the right balance of products. One thing is for sure that there won't be a lot of impulse buying when here.Ample parking outside for all the customers.

Was there yesterday morning and actually seen a cashier treat a clearly handicap person absolutely terrible while the poor guy was tryn to count his change to purchase some items that he said were for his mom for Christmas, the cashier literally said (anytime now) to the guy and (speed it up) the lady behind him actually paid for his items she felt so bad for him! Most disrespectful thing I've seen in a while and we won't be back! I hope this gets seen by the right person and that situation gets handled cuz that's a real problem

I like it OK but the app is very annoying when you get to Aldi it’s like so hard it’s like when you try to text them it doesn’t send through but then it says it does but then it doesn’t. There’s glitches and stuff where you can’t even call them, so yeah, the foods are good. We always get our pizzas there and that’s what makes this review. Perfect.👌🏼😺

I always get great deals at Aldi. Being Diabetic means I purchase lots of fresh & frozen foods, low carb/ low calorie foods, and Aldi's accommodate me well

I shop at aldi and like the prices for milk and eggs. Back again at least 2 times a week. Great deals on most of the items they sell. They have a good selection of vegetables and fruits smaller selection of meats but at a descent price. They also have good prices on ice cream and ice cream bars. I think on the items they sell are cheaper than most grocery stores.they just don't have as many items to sell.

The selection is slim compared to other Aldi in the area. This particular time I was in this vicinity and needed to grab some flowers for the local nursing home. I was appalled at their flower selection but it gets worse. I had SLIM pickings but I grabbed a couple in hopes of putting some arrangements together. I figured I could use a FEW of the flowers 💐 and maybe they would give a discount. When I went to the cashier, she was visibly irritated when I asked for a discount. She then called the manager with an attitude, they snatched the flowers from me and said "nope, can't discount these.." and THREW them in the trash 🗑 right in front of me! Can you believe? So you'd rather throw them away then give a 5 percent discount and the rudeness of it all. I was appalled. Don't go here for a few reasons: Poor Selection compared to others in the area, Poor Customer Service, and rudeness. Go elsewhere, this Aldi is horrible. Never again. I simply drove to Meijer so my elderly friends could still have a few arrangements in hopes to cheer them up.

Love the store and the no plastic bag thing. Grab a box and hull the stuff home in the box. The box is a great cat toy for the next week.One thing, the only thing, that I don't like is the way they throw the groceries in the cart at the check out. Often tossing fruit and bruising bananas, rough handling of my chips. I want chips not bits.Picture of the cat who gets the box.

Aldi's has figured out how to make excellent value an every-day items. Super fast checkout, then bag your own - which I prefer over poorly bagged groceries. Plus the cost savings is passed on to the customer. The Aldi "special finds" have saved me money on gardening, kitchen, holiday, etc items! I have not found better value on dairy products anywhere!

Self checkouts are great, and I will likely visit more often now that it's less stressful for me to checkout. Lots of items were fully stocked, and items I purchased were fresh.

Cashier stepped away from checking me out to help other customers at self check out. Took a while for her to come back. This is unacceptable bad customer service. I will not use self check out since I'm not a aldi employee.

Love ALDIs. Normally great selection, great prices & great service. However the check out personnel at Portage location needs some customer service training, especially Allision. She was extremely rude. She needs stock shelves & not talk to customers.

Great prices, no matter how long the line it's always very quick and they call for extra cashier's when needed. They now have like 6 of 8 self checkouts. I haven't had to wait in a line since, and I don't mind doing self checkout.

Gotta love Aldi. Great prices, good selection, high quality items. Shelves are usually stocked very well, even during busy times. Employees are routinely cleaning and facing the aisles, aisles are free of obstructions, and the employees are always ready to assist. Regular shopper, I'll be back!
