I go here all the time, probably more than any store in the last ten years. The difference between here and say Menard or sometimes Home Depot is that you're guaranteed to get someone to help you. Even when I don't need it, it's nice to know that the times I do, I don't have to run around looking for not just someone, but someone who knows my specific problem. They recently changed their store around and I'm liking the design change. If you live in Port Huron, this a great store for quick, in and out, knowledge help with getting work done.

I stopped in yesterday 20 minutes before thay closed and got a key copied when I got home it did not work. It was a copy of a copy of a copy did not hold it against them in the least I took it back in today. The nice young gentleman tried again, and while I was there, I’ve got two more copied of a different vehicle and my sister’s house all three of them work flawlessly, customer service was amazing through the whole ordeal. I am extremely happy with the prices. And I have already called three different people and told them of the fancy keys they have available trying to get them some more business. I will definitely be back.

The faucet in my bathroom was leaking hot water. I took the part into the store and was handed to the boss. He took the part, cleaned it out and put the needed washers etc. on it for me, so all I had to do was put it back in place at home. Problem solved! He really went the extra mile to help me! Great service!

As always, Gill-Roy's was packed with hard-to-find and borderline specialty items. You'll never have trouble finding someone to help you there either. My idea of the perfect everything under one roof small town hardware store. Just keep in mind that with the volumes that they do they can't afford to give you a rock bottom price so you're going to have to pay a little more but it's worth it for many of their items.

Review gets a zero. Employees are not wearing masks. When I said I would be more comfortable if you wore masks, she shrugged her shoulders and said, "meh". You've lost a customer of several years.

I looked all around town trying to find a belt for an older riding lawn mower with no results. Then I remembered Gill-Roy's if anyone would have it they might. So after a quick phone call, they said they had one. So after 3 and a half hours of driving and calling around town, I had my balt and could finish the lawn. Thank you Gill-Roy's!

This is the hardware store you want to go to. Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful staff. Copied some automotive keys that I had blanks for, after I was refused by another store. They also carry some good name brand stuff, like Irwin, Dewalt, milwaukee, Klein and so on. Also Yeti coolers.

I love how they have things that Lowes or other bigger places don't have, and the people there are always helpful when it comes to finding what you are looking for, even if you don't know what it's called, just describe it and they'll do their best to help you out.
