Really nice market. I've really been looking forward to going here and was the slightest bit disappointed because I expected more fresh produce. What they had was good, I just thought there would be more from everything I 've heard. Also, it's on the pricey side. But the store is very clean and the employees are friendly and helpful.

Seems, they do not have,a lot of items, they use to have at north end, seems there convienance items are meant for emergencies only, since servicing the loft apartments. Single rolls of toilet paper, really? Prices seem high in comparison

I'm very disappointed. Since they moved from their Fort Gratiot location here to Port Huron, their meat quality has gone caputz. The meat counter was awful. They offer very little. They had 2 types of sausage we decided on the Polish. It was awful. Their choice of everything was awful. This Country Market store is nothing like its past store. On top of that, there are very few easy access parking spaces. So sad. We won't be going back, 2 strikes, and you're out.

The new hours are really tragic. Closed by 6 and no Mondays makes it really hard for working folks and service ppl to shop here. I'm in walking distance and struggle to get there in time after work.

Very clean store with especially great meat counter. They carry a variety of items not just the usual brands. Employees are friendly and helpful. You will be pleased when shopping there.

This is one store that you must stop šŸ›‘ into, especially when you’re shopping for the best produce in the health department. You’ll find a variety of specialty foods. They even have Elderberry Berry Grape šŸ‡ Jelly Jam that’s available & ect., and the best part about is, that; it taste šŸ‘… so good….😊 your taste buds will certainly thank you. šŸ™ Praise to God’s goodness, and blessings for good, goodness!

Good specialty store, I don't get promotion information there for I only go for something special I want.Nice store, just wish they would have left the north end store open too.

Its becoming clear the move downtown was a bad decision for the stores customers.Regarding the parking. A while ago I saw the owner trying to make a point by counting the number of parking spaces around the new store downtown, declaring that there are plenty of spaces. What he did not acknowledge is the number of other businesses in the area whose customers also use those parking spots. The spots downtown are occupied way more frequently. At the Fort Gratiot location, there were plenty of parking spaces right in front of the store, and the few other businesses that shared the parking lot had low traffic. Now, parking spaces are scattered all around, and very often almost completely full. The Fort Gratiot store had been developing a strong customer base for many years. And even before it was Country Style, it was Balduci’s. Country Style was able to benefit from adopting Balduci’s customer base. So essentially, the Fort Gratiot location had been successfully developing a strong customer base for decades. They lost a lot of them by moving downtown. I can speak as a former regular customer who lives at the north end. When they moved, I did not start making the trip downtown. I started going to Kroger. The downtown store basically needs to start over in developing regular customers. Also, the types of customers are probably different. I still shop at Country Style downtown. But that is only when I am already downtown. And I shop for different things. I buy some prepared food for lunch, and maybe a few things here and there, but never a whole grocery list anymore. It used to be that people would go to the Fort Gratiot location, and buy their groceries for the week or the evening. They would have a shopping cart’s worth of groceries. I don’t see that so much downtown. They need to have more consistent hours. They keep changing the hours they are open, which to me is a sign they may be struggling. I think it is a great idea they started doing more prepared food, considering the store will probably be more of a lunch destination, and less of a grocery destination. But the hot food isn’t consistent. Sometimes it is ready at 11:00, sometimes it is ready at 11:30 or even later. They need to realize they are a part of a downtown business district now. Most restaurants downtown start lunch at 11:00. They would do themselves and everyone else a favor by having hot food ready at 11:00. Otherwise people won’t think of them as a reliable lunch destination. There is nothing wrong with an $8 sandwich. But it needs to be worth $8. A 6 or 7 inch sub, with a slice of cheese, a few slices of meat, and a piece of lettuce is not worth $8. Wolverine’s prepared sandwiches are worth their cost. Buscemie’s prepared sandwiches are worth their cost. But Country Style’s sandwiches are not.Fort Gratiot’s meat department used to be the best in town by far. I am very grateful they are still processing meat on site, but what they sell now is nothing compared to what it used to be. It was nice to be able to ask for a specific amount of meat instead of whatever is already packaged. I really hope they have plans on replacing their cooling displays with real refrigerators like the Fort Gratiot store.Their deli is not what it used to be either. It also seems like a big risk to spend so much on a basement area for alcohol. I admit, the concept is really cool, like you are going into a basement cellar. But it is out of view, people will need to make a deliberate decision to go down there, to even see what is available. Downtown already has a couple very well curated beer and wine stores. This area doesn’t have a lot of nice things. The old Country Style market was a very nice store. The new location is also nice, but it just isn’t as convenient. I am worried this was a bad business decision, and that our town will not only lose the a gem of a store in Fort Gratiot, but also the downtown location.

Absolutely love this store. Great produce and BEAUTIFUL meat counter. Make sure to check the Amish corner, best stuff in the county. And don't forget the AMAZING STAFF, each one is so nice and helpful. Reminds me of my childhood.

Quite a markup...At least they had the Dearborn glazed ham I wanted, but the half ham was $71 as opposed to the $44 at Dearborn or Meijer.Likely cheaper to drive out to Dearborn to pickup, or get it shipped in.

Went to the new store - had to park two blocks away - when I got there the meat counter was practically empty - basically Kebobs and sausage. Deli was tiny compared and I could not find many of the old brands they carried that made me a 3x a week customer. I don’t think I’ll try it again. As the owner himself pointed out, there’s alot of other options in the area.

Went to go shopping as i was passing by the area so i walk in.. the doors open on there own and i started to get my groceries someone comes up to me and tells me that the store isnt open yet and that i need to leave.. i will not be returning ever again maybe if your not open the doors shouldnt open when you walk by them and tell someone when they first walk in instead of waiting till they have a handful of groceries horrible service and terrible way to treat a customer

I went to this market looking for unique, delicious edibles. I bought their breakfast sausage, cooked it up the next morning took one bite and threw it in trash. The worst, by far, I've ever had. Shopping the bread section and found a package of rolls green on the bottom and black blotches on top. I put it on a workers table,. I bought some items and they were ok. The Red Licorice pieces aren't cherry, they aren't tasty at all, again in trash. I'm sure I will not return.

Love the new building. So spacious, clean, and organized perfectly. Meat counter A+ as well as the deli counter. My favorite grocery store in town. Really top notch!

Terrible. I'd give the PH store negative stars if I could. Fort Gratiot store was way better. It had more products, better quantity and better quality. Can't buy any bulk foods at PH store. They are all pre packaged. Why? Because their coolers aren't as good as the Fort Gratiot store coolers. PH coolers aren't cold enough to handle bulk foods. SERIOUSLY!!!! Told so by an employee. So you're risking my health and safety not to mention my kids and everyone else who buys any of your meat or deli items. Absolutely terrible. New owners obviously dont care about the well being of their customers. They should be shut down and fined! Meat quality is was down. I use to buy bulk brats frequently from Fort Gratiot. They were the best. Bought my 1st Brats from PH, pre packaged of course, and they were absolutely disgusting! I will only be going back to PH store 1 final time and that is only to return the glass milk jars I have so I can get my deposit back on them. However, idk when I'll be at that end of town again to do so. Could be months for all I know. PH store is not worth the drive! You just lost a loyal customer by closing the FG store, and more to come I'm sure. That was a terrible decision by the owners to close the FG store. You need to re-open it again. If you can't handle to separate locations, then you have no business owning a so called grocery store.

Bring back the Fort Gratiot location. The move lost a lot of customers. I know I used to go there 3 X a week at leastNow I only go when I am downtown.

I was a customer at the ft gratiot location and so i went today to the downtown store for 1st time and saw the meat counter and yes it was all packaged up in the counter. Very strange??? Never saw anything like it. I wanted 5 pounds but since their pre packed some have more than a pound so ended up with 6. I like when they can grab 5 and that's it in one bag. Don't like that at all. Very disappointing!!! Loved the ft gratiot store!

Wine in basement like an actual cellar, a few unique things like original recipe 8oz glass bottle Faggo. We grabbed mock City chicken last visit. I've never seen it offered anywhere else. Was delicious with an herb sour cream sauce on naan bread.

This place is awesome for finding odds and ends locally without having to resort to going to Meijer or Walmart. EBT accepted, loyalty rewards, and discounts for SC4 students.Bacon, deli meats, vegetables, fresh salads, sandwiches, pasta salads and more, plus standard dry goods. They also have their own brand of seasonings, sauces, and more.

I love the variety and quality of products. It's like shopping at a Nino's or Randazzo's without the drive. Love the Amish Bulk section...spices, bread flour...they've got it all.

It’s pretty in there. Is minimal. I wanted chicken breast you can’t just grab them you have to ask someone…This someone was having a conversation with another person at another department for about 4 minutes before they noticed I was there. I just just wanted a chicken breast. And not only that! She didn’t say sorry.

The store sells a lot of top-shelf food products. The Meat and Deli Department we're awesome. All the deli meat is Boar's Head which I think is the best. Dearborn and Koegle hot dogs are some of the best. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a good experience there. 😃

Super clean, well laid out grocery store! I don't live close, so I'm hoping the downtown community supports this store! Among the many items, they have milk in glass bottles & Boarshead products
