Very nice store with a diner in the middle. The store had very nice items,and reasonable prices. The staff where very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to shop there this coming summer. They carried a lot of beach attire.

I've been going to the Farmer's Market for over 15 years and I do enjoy seeing different vendors, which is pretty nice. I also love the regulars as well! I know a Mennonite family and watched their daughter grow up. I'll keep going as long as they're there lol. Great place to go but I wish they had more clothing and items for men. My sons were disappointed they couldn't find anything.

Very nice grocery store serving the Port Arthur community. They have a fresh meat counter and everything you need. We shopped there twice while we were on vacation at Port Crescent SP. Friendly clean and fast.

The male older cashier is not people friendly! He always looks and acts like he’d rather be somewhere else than doing his job, plus he’s considerably Rude all the time! Not good for a family business.

This place was awesome. We needed children's allergy meds and they had exactly 1. The guy behind the counter was full of jokes. I didn't get any personally, because the lady behind me started talking to him while I was checking out. The had a 12 pk of bells two hearted. Great store.

Was in Port Austin Monday night after watching the sunset. It was late and no restaurants were serving food after 9pm. The one that did had a pipe burst and was closed. Luckily, the friendly staff at the IGA advised they make subs and pizza to order. They saved the day. Had a delicious Italian sub and ordered a Chicken Pesto Pizza. That was delicious too. Of course we ordered too much food but were happy campers. And went to the Dark Sky Park with full tummies.

Best sub sandwiches made to order (ordered over 30 times) and appreciate having a grocery store locally. We purchase meat for grilling during the summer and it is excellent. Closest grocery store for our family to get what you need.

First of all, good selection for a small store and a VERY friendly women who works the meat department!But the women who is usually on the floor (short, pudgy frizzy hair) is the most unfriendly persom that i have ever met. She should not have a job with the public.The bottle maxhine has been "broke" for 2 monrhs now. Come on, really, get it fixed. I wont by beverages or groceries at a store that has a bottle machine, the only one, out of service for so long!

IGA has to be one of the best small stores in Port Austin! All of the staff members are friendly, and most things here are sold for cheap, The pizza and subs that they sell taste amazing! Overall I would recommend IGA to all shoppers of Port Austin!

Not the first time I've visited. 59 cents up charge for the use of my debit. With no notification by the clerk. This place is pricey. And the quality, well it is what it is. Sad, I hate to write a bad review. But this is why mom & pop stores are dwindling. Not a hello, have a good day. I'll head to Dollar General.

The people in this store are very accommodating. We got into town late and my son was hungry. He was insisting on macaroni and cheese. The lady in the store actually made him some. Great experience.

Good little grocery store but this review is solely for one employee, the gentleman with the glasses cashier is one rude, life hating individual. We were here all weekend and every time I’d say “hi how are you” and nothing from the guy. No social skills. Also all weekend I used my debit card and he never charged me a “convenance charge” and all of a sudden out of no where on the last day of our trip he decided to charge me. When inquiring about this charge, all he said was “have a good one”. We dreaded going into the store because he is such a depressing person. A place with such big turnover should at least have a friendly clerk.

Its a very small grocery store but the only one available in or around Port Austin. Other then basic groceries they also sell a wide variety of Beer and Alachol. They do have an excellent Meat department, its always fresh cut, not frozen and they will make special cuts for you. They make their own brats in a wide variety of flavors as well as stuffed pork chops, kabobs and more. And they now sell Pizza which is once of the best in Huron County. The staff are always the same ppl and the customer service ia excellent. Its your classic small town very friendly neighborhood store.

This is your typical small town IGA and about what you would expect in a place like Port Austin. They have a limited selection of basic groceries but a pretty good selection of beer, wine, and liquor. I really hate how they charge extra to use a credit card. I did not know this until I was ready to check out.

It's nice to have a store in town, so you don't have to drive 20 miles each way to get something you need. Small store but it has more things than you would expect.

I asked for a Boston cooler, which I have gotten from this place for the past 40 year. And they didn't know how to make. When they did finally make, it was so watery, it didn't taste like one. Staff at check out for cash didnt seem friendly. Sad its changed so much!

Good store. Stopped there for snacks and drinks. Little over priced . I believe it was one of the only stores around close to the state park. So understandable.

They charge you an extra fee to use a credit card, so we avoid this place if we can get our needs elsewhere.
