We love Barkers - our dog is very skittish and shy but the staff is able to make her feel safe enough to trim her nails, even after a rather nasty experience at a petco. Every time we come in it is a quick turnaround with great prices.

My mini goldendoodle Toby has been here before for a quick nail trim but today was the first time getting him groomed at Barkers. Angel did such a great job and I couldn’t be happier! I asked for his face and tail to be left fluffier and his body hair short and that’s exactly what Toby got :)Ignore the redness on his front leg as that’s due to his allergies and hotspots, definitely not from his grooming today. Thank you Barkers, we’ll be back!

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! I never write a review of any place but I just had to with this one. I'm so pleased with the staff and how they took good care of my fur baby. I was nervous at first, they assured me that my baby would be taken care of. Well it was proven that they did because when I picked up my fur baby he was so happy and excited. His coat is so gorgeous they did a wonderful job on him, I couldn't be more happy with it. If you love and care about your fur baby I would highly recommend barkers. They will treat your fur baby like he/she was their own. Thank you so much, keep up the great work. You guys have earned a loyal customer.

My dogs Lupin and Willow absolutely LOVE going to Barkers to see Stacy and her team! We take them both once a week to get their nails done (which is a near impossible task at home), and they are showered with so much love and affection (and treats) that they don’t even mind. I would highly recommend this wonderful team to anyone!

My dog is scared of literally everything & everyone. Getting him groomed is something that’s always been hard but Barkers staff always takes their time and totally relaxes him and he loves it here! He always gets excited when we pull in because he knows he is about to be pampered. I wouldn’t trust my dog with anyone else!

You NEVER get a second chance to make a first impression.Talk about the most uncomfortable vibe, ever. No one at the desk. Two young kids walked out. No one seemed to know what to do for my dog. Very unprofessional and made me super uncomfortable to leave my dog there for his first grooming. Are there adults that work here? Zero level of professionalism. I'd not leave a stuffed animal there for grooming. Such a weird uncomfortable vibe.I waited for a minute and left. No way I was leaving my dog in the hands of the people that greeted me.Also, I've read some of the other reviews where you called people "liars". I'm sure you'll call me one too. I took the afternoon off work to handle this. How about presenting yourself as professionals? I booked this app two weeks ago. What a waste of time!! I could not have been more sketched out.

We have had some rough grooming experiences in the past few years, but we had nothing but great things to say about Barker’s. McKenna has been so helpful getting Chewy on a consistent grooming schedule and has been such a wonderful match for him. He was always very anxious with his previous groomers and he’s doing so much better after a few months seeing McKenna. Not to mention he always looks and smells wonderful when he comes home. We can’t recommend her enough!

Found out about Barkers Pet Salon from a recommendation. My old girl Hazel was in desperate need of attention after shutdowns, as it had been about 1 and a half years since her last grooming. The staff at Barkers (specifically, Shelby) were very kind to her and you can tell they know their way around animal companions. Hazel is typically difficult to work with as she is EXTREMELY dog-reactive, but Shelby said she was no problem and she knew how to handle it.After the service, it looked like Hazel was a 5 year younger version of herself! My wife and I couldn't believe how well Hazel's treatment turned out, and with how reasonably priced it was, our family is a customer for life.

I've been going here for a few years to get my dogs' nails trimmed as my neighbor recommended them when I moved in. The staff are nice and good with the dogs, especially Valerie. I was disappointed when I was there today and discovered that they increased the price for nail trim and grind by 88% as of 1-1-23. Now, instead of a very reasonable price of $8, they charge $15. With tip of 25%, for me, that's an increase from $20 for both dogs to $37.50. I ended up having to decrease the tip today to 20% which I felt bad about doing but that was all the cash I had. Plus, I can't afford this monthly expense increasing from $20 to almost $40. Barker's charged a lot less than my vet office so an increase to $10 from $8 would have been understandable and also understandable if next year or 2 years from now, they increased it again to $12 . Since my visit today, I've spoken to other dog groomers in the area that get great reviews, have been in business for several years and charge $10 for dog nail trim and grind. I'm seeing one of them next month.I noticed that Barker's was not busy like it usually is and I'm guessing that this is due to their price increases. New ownership? Valerie at Barker's did a great job with my dogs today. The lower rating I've given today is due strictly to the drastic price increase.

Got my pups nails clipped in just a few minutes. The staff was great at comforting her since she is afraid of getting her nails clipped.

After spending 9 years of my dog's life searching for the perfect dog groomer. We did it. Amy here at Barker's was so good with our Mini-Schnoauser Chewbaka. First time he wasn't torn up or terrified. Gentle, kind quick and perfectly affordable. Very happy with their work. If you want a pampered pooch, you'll want to come to Barker's.

Stacy and the team at Barkers have been giving our dogs the best care and attention for many years. It was easier when we had the best dog, but now that we have some pets who are more challenging, their kindness and skill become even more apparent. They are patient and understanding and they do a great job! We wouldn't go anywhere else.

I've been going to Barkers since they opened to get my dog's nails cut. They take walk-ins for this service!! They are ALWAYS super-nice and get the nails clipped super-fast. Definitely check it out!

This place is amazing. My dog Boots was kicked out of the Pet-smart groomers because he would get angry with the dryer and when his nails were trimmed. Because I didn’t know where to go, I resorted to bathing Boots which wasn’t a fun experience for either of us. I started to look for one of those happy hoodies because I thought it might help. So I went to Petco to see if they sell that there and the associate recommended Barkers Pet Salon.I can’t express through words alone how impressed I am with Barkers and the level of professionalism and care that they give. The person who helped me was McKenna. She is phenomenal. She even took a quick video to show us that Boots wasn’t some aggressive feral animal like Pet-smart made him out to be. My dog was always very scared and anxious looking after leaving Petsmart. After leaving Barkers he was so happy and joyful.Thank you,Ryan Whittington

I took my 98# White Akita there for grooming on Monday. He had a lot of undercoat to be blown out before he could even get a bath. Stacy took the necessary time to get him cleaned up beautifully. It took quite some time, and even though it was costly, I feel it was totally worth it. He looks and smells amazing. Looking forward to his next appointment.

Been with Barkers for many years now, seen great quality of work. The care they put into my goldendoodles is hard to find, especially with doodles, and the type of cuts us as owners are always asking for...1/2 all over, or blow out these 3" to get a fluff all over, then trim and design the perfect detailed cut up the legs and make all 4 exact. Well, hats off to you all, even with changing of groomers the owner expects the same professionalism. Your dog's are treated with love. Thank you for your dedication and detail over the years. My senior doodle loves you.

My Aussie has always had a beautiful Grooming and in the summer she gets shaved down to about an inch of hair due to the heat. My groomer after many years changed jobs, not grooming, and so I tried Barkers. I called ahead and explained that she was 12 and had arthritis in her hips so would prefer she not stand for extended time. The groomer said she understood and thought she could get her done quickly, I explained it was a shave down to an inch. I showed up and dropped her off and she acknowledged she spoke with me. My husband picked her up and paid an outrageous $80 (normally $50 to $60). I got home and it was a hack job. All uneven, some very long strands left on her underside that I had to trim myself. I would have refused to pay for such a horrible grooming job. Then she told my husband she did not think it would be good to bring her back, well do you think?? She also was nicked and razor burn on her belly. My Aussie is loving, gentle, and very obedient. Stay Away!!

We brought our dog in to get his nails trimmed and the way she handled our dog was disgusting. She was not gentle whatsoever, she was rushed and cut his nails in less than 5 minutes. His nails were poorly trimmed, some were even untouched. She even made him bleed and didn’t take care of his bleeding nail at all, she just sent us on our way. This was so horrible to watch and we will never be coming back this place.

First time trying Barker's. Took my Maltese there he came out looking like a pup. Great job. I would highly recommend. When you call them they will come out to get the dog from you. They will also let you know when your pet is finished.

Our first time at Barkers Pet Salon was a great experience! We could never find a groomer just as good as our first one, who moved to a different state a few years back. Finally, somebody did a truly good job! They got us in on a short notice and the price was fair. Thank you, Val, for making Raven look beautiful! We'll be back. :)

I really wanted to love this place. Wanted it to be my new dog grooming spot, but after today, I think I'm going to avoid it. Had booked my appointment weeks ago, confirming price. My dog is a mini goldendoodle, weighing 26lbs. On their tv monitor it specifically shows what dogs fit into the small, medium, and large category. My dog was medium and I confirmed it when booking his grooming appointment. When I went to pick him up, the groomer told me it would be $20 over the price we discussed. When I questioned her, she seemed so...frazzled, stressed...and very impatient with my dog, whom she was still grooming. She did an awesome job on him. But for some reason, I got bad vibes all around. They could definitely be more professional, if there’s any extra charges, it should be brought up before the grooming takes place. I just don't trust my dog with the groomer after her behavior today. Will not be returning.

My wife dropped off our golden doodle to this groomer. Asked for a 1/2 inch to be removed. Instead they left only a half inch. To say the least the dog looked completely shaved. Spoke to owner. She said it was a misunderstanding whatever that means. And was very rude and offered to refund me my money which she didn’t. Beware where you take you beautiful dog to be groomed. This place don’t care and the appearance of the place shows.

We've been taking our senior dog here for his grooming appointments for over a year. They always do a great job and have really mastered the curbside drop off/pick up. We started taking our other dog for "walk in" nail trims....they still take your dog curbside, but do not require an appointment

Just got the second cut here since changing from a big box pet store. I never understood why it took 3 hours to cut a little yorkie pom hair. She does not do well with other dogs, and she always seemed traumatized when we got home. Turns out, the big box pet stores stack clients, cutting hair, washing, putting in a dryer and then working on other dogs. I visited this place, it was clean, the staff was friendly. We scheduled an appointment. It took less than an hour, she was the only dog there, and she was never put in a cage while the cutter worked on other dogs. In other words-she got the full attention of the cutter. The price was a lot lower, and the hair cut was awesome. Just took her back in for the next cut at the new location, awesome. Stacy does an outstanding job and really likes the dogs she works on. I'd highly recommend Bark'ers to anyone.

Been having our little girl groomed by Stacy for years and continue to be pleased with her services. Just today she let me know that our little girl seemed to have some issues with her eyes and ears. Got her into the vet and she was diagnosed with a nasty bacterial infection around her eyes and some additional yeast infections in her ears! She’s already feeling better. Thanks Stacy!

I can share my experience of getting my tiny dogs nails trimmed at barkers. I 've taken my pooch to them for several years and have not had any issues. They have always accommodated me as a walk in and treated my dog with care. Please note that they do not take Credit cards so it would be handy to come prepared with cash or just venmo

We’ve taken our dog to barkers a couple of times and have recommended them to others, but our experience today was not good. When I dropped her off, they told me someone else had been late and they were running behind and to expect it to be a couple hours before I could pick my dog up. 3 hours later I called and asked for an update. They told me less than an hour. Over an hour later, I called back and they told me I could come get her. Once we got there, we still waited 15 minutes in the parking lot because she wasn’t done. My dog was there almost 5 hours. We will not plan to return and have let our friends know of our experience. To me this is unacceptable and they did not even apologize.Responding to owners response: sorry to hear the groomer didn’t get a lunch break, but that has nothing to do with me. So many dogs should not be scheduled the same day if grommers are not able to take a restroom or lunch break. You had my dog for 5 hours, meaning she was likely locked in a cage for several hours. That is unacceptable to me. If you needed to reschedule, you could have called me and I would have been happy to come another day versus put my dog through that. Your response shows an extremely poor attitude- blaming me for your disorganized scheduling?
