The store is always neat, clean, employees are friendly and helpful. What is very important is their sale prices do NOT require a purchase of 2/3/5 of those items to get the sale price. Their meats/poultry are packaged in smaller amounts yet still carry the sale price. I've been bypassing Family Fare in Standish to shop here for that reason. As a senior, on fixed income, it's only 10 miles away & worth the gas to get the savings.

Not bad for Pintucky. They don't have much more in the area. You just have to be aware of prices at stores around Bay City. Most of their prices are higher than a store like Meijer or Kroger, but there are a few items worth going there for

Very, very clean store. The prices I checked seemed higher than other stores. We got a whole strip and had the butcher cut it. It was great on the grill!

It's okay, they're just a small town grocery store. If you head to Meijer in Bay City the prices are better and more selection and things cost a dollar less.

The cashiers & the workers are always friendly. The store is clean. There's a variety of items from produce to meat products. Many updates have been done in the store. Carries quite a variety of beer, wine and other liquors. Has a nice variety of hardware. Most likely if there's something you need they will have it.The only thing I can find wrong with the store. Is there can machines aren't always clean and so they're slow reading barcodes. And can be backed up with patrons. But the store is quick to empty out any bins that are full which is nice. They just need to clean their machines more.

This is an amazing grocery store!!! John the owner is truly a great man who is always,always,always customer oriented. He's done a fantastic job with the store, they have amazing deals all the time. Like today I was able to get a 28lb turkey @0.59 a pound. Wow!! Defiantly worth a stop you never know what you might find!

Nice small town store. They have a small hardware section also. No deli as it's been blocked off by shelves. They have a lot of misc cans of pop for sale by the can in the back of the store, looks to be from damaged shipments. They have a pharmacy inside the store also. Recently updated the beer cooler sections with a walk through cooler.

So much better every since the old owners moved out. These people are bringing back the hardware department, they've changed the layout of the whole store and it feels a lot more open and modern now. They've expanded the liquor section and beer section. The place is clean and the prices are not crazily over priced, most things are only slightly over, some times there are great deals on meats and other things like pop and boxed meals. I'm glad for the new change!

Good prices on meat specials. (For example, today Thorn Apple Valley bacon was $1.99 for a 12 oz. package.) Clean store, friendly, helpful staff. They don't have their deli anymore, and that is kind of sad.

The meat I bought from here was all bad. 10lbs of chicken leg quarters, 4 Tbone steaks 10lbs of hamburger and a pork roast! Brown and smell putrid. Will not get my business again!

I’m having a hard time with this store. The past two visits I have been completely ignored by associates. They are usually backed up at the cash register, and when they open another line they take those that have not been waiting as long to check out. I understand that these are trying times, but when you are already paying more than you would at other stores for the same product...you need something to set yourself apart....like amazing customer service.It’s sad when you no long feel like a valued customer from the only local grocer in town. I’ll be purchasing my goods from elsewhere from now on!

Great store with competitive pricing and outstanding customer service. They have an amazing meat department with unbelievable pricing, also offering many options for meat bundles at next to nothing prices. The feel of a Ma & Pa with the variety of a big box store offering everything from homemade deli items to free grocery shopping and delivery services. Always my first choice whether it's for a quick trip or a stock up.

Pleasant, courteous service in all areas. Great meat selection, butcher will custom cut meats. Very poor produce section. The place is staffed with friendly help. The meat department is good, but sales items are always in short supply! (To limit quantity sold, perhaps???) The cheese selection is very good. The deli is limited in selections., but prompt friendly service.Checkout lines are usually long.

Prices have gone sky high in here. I'd recommend going elsewhere. Example 4.00 for a head of lettuce and 6.00 for a pint of cherry tomatoes. Ridiculous.

Sometimes there are really good deals. Other times stuff is expired. Tried to buy children's tylenol today but they were expired 11/19. Also only 1 register open amd people were backed up to the freezer section. I left my items and went elsewhere. Hopefully next time is better experience.
