Today I had a dental appointment and the dentist prescribed a medication for follow up. I didn’t have the address of this pharmacy and couldn’t look it up. This was during the very vast cell coverage outage. Could not make call, navigation , text, anything. I showed up and it was an hour from the dentist. No prescription there. I would have called the dentist but no coverage. I asked the girl if they could call. She went to the female pharmacist and she abruptly said “no”. Looked at me through the glass. That was it. Sorry! The girl said. I drove 20 min home and awaited the system to come on-line. Called and even had a voicemail from the dentist about the prescription. 15 seconds and and address and it was on the way. What has this world come to? I have used this pharmacy for 9 years. I will never set foot in there again.

The manager and the associates at the Rite Aid in Pinckney are very helpful, polite, and friendly. They are always eager to help and the store is always clean and organized!

Do not buy from here period. Ill spell it out for you, right below this will more than likely be a pre scripted response for me to go complain somewhere less public. They charge double for items, and they have terrible service. The fact companies can get away with this is ridiculous.

I have a very difficult to fill prescription, its a 45 minute drive to this location for me but they always have been able to fill it for me. The five star review though is for the pharmacist or pharmacy tech that sat on the phone with me trying several different coupon codes to get the best price for my very very expensive prescription. I know that it takes a while to try the different codes because it works like insurance kind of so I made it a point to call in advance as to not hold up a line. They were very polite about it, talked me through some other options I could try to find the best deal, and overall were just very kind about the situation.

I really want to rate this rite aid higher as I’ve never had a bad customer service experience. They are always kind and friendly and the pharmacy is always helpful. But sadly they really need to have a better place for their employees to smoke besides right at the front entrance doors. Sadly with my asthma it caused a bad coughing fit when I had to walk out of the store feet from the employee standing next to the doors last night smoking. Other than that I feel this is a good store to go to.

This place is a joke. My script was called in early in the morning, by 1:00 I called to see if it was ready they told me it would take another hour to fill. By this time it would be 2:30. I kindly asked if they could fill it earlier than that and I was told no, due to them having a lunch break first. Then was also told if I wanted to go somewhere else they just won’t fill it. Bad business, I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone.

The few people they still have running the pharmacy are great, but corporate has been running this store understaffed for a year now. The drive thru has been "temporarily" shut down for months. They never have my medicine ready when they say they will, I always have to wait. I get it, wages have gone up and they can't attract people with what they paid in the past. The solution to that issue is to RAISE WAGES, not sacrifice service for years at a time. This is entirely on the executives, do better Rite-Aid.

If you enjoy sitting in a pharmacy drive thru for 30 minutes only to find out your prescription isn't there anyway, this location is it. If you don't mind the pharmacy and drive thru randomly being shut down, this is the perfect place for you as well. In conclusion, if you want a streamlined reliable pharmacy experience you better go somewhere else!

I'm going to be waiting for the owners response to why they haven't answered their phone for over 2 days!!!EVERY negative review is 100% valid and this store has been this way since opening! I've tried to contact Rite Aid corporate to complain and guess what? They don't answer either! This store needs to be boycotted and closed!They can reply to my review but can't answer the phones and suggest using another platform???? How about doing what's in your job description and answer the phones!!!

We have been getting all of our prescriptions filled here for over 10 years and never had a problem. I've even tried the drive through which is a nice service to have. There is a good selection of convenience items and the staff are super friendly. I've called a couple times too to see if they had certain items in stock and they are super helpful. If you sign up for their program and frequently purchase items here you can get a 20% discount on most non-prescription items (every time you come in) which is a very nice benefit.

Just a great store with helpful and friendly staff. There's also a very wide selection of everything: makeup, cards, snacks, small gifts, otc medications, etc. I have been getting all my prescriptions here for the past ten years, and I average about 3 or 4 trips to Rite Aid a week. The prescriptions are always filled as quickly as possible.As for those who wrote the unecessarily dramatic negative comments, I don't even know what to say. I literally laughed out loud at some of them. I've never had a bad experience here before!

I usually just use the pharmacy and I have to say the customer service has greatly improved in the last 2 years. They are quick to acknowledge you and complete the trans action quickly. Everyone has a pleasant attitude no matter how busy and this is a busy pharmacy.

I’ve had trouble and frustrations with this pharmacy for a long time and it seemed to come from staffing issues and shortages. I’ve noticed significant improvement in the last few months with some new pharmacy staff that are more professional, quick, and friendly. I enjoy have a pharmacy close to home so I have stuck with them and they improved drastically. The rest of the store I love... friendly and helpful staff and good selections of products.

I tried giving this pharmacy a chance after reading all the terrible reviews. If I could give them zero that's the review they would get from me . Got out of the emergency room and was sent home with 3 important prescriptions. We dropped them off 20 minutes before the closing time , was told they couldn't fill because they were closing at 6 and there was 6 people ahead of me. Searched for another local pharmacy but there was nothing else around. They don't care about their patients they made that obvious because they turned me away sick and crying. Official my last straw taking my business elsewhere .

A perfect example of how large corporations like Rite Aid, Amazon, Walmart etc. may have better pricing but completely lack customer service and now that they've bought out the mom and pop shops that did, you're held hostage with their lack of service! The only way to improve this situation is to not patronize this store!!!

Called in 2 prescriptions at 9:00am. Recording said they could be picked up at 1:45. I got there after that time. The girl told me they were out of both, that I could get them tomorrow after 3:00. Could have called me! Same thing happened a few years ago. Now I remember why I don’t go there.

just here because i saw a lot of negative reviews but i have been coming to this pharmacy for almost 10 years and i have never had a negative experience or any issues with service or anyone who works there ! they have always had my prescriptions ready even if i come straight from the doctor’s office and everyone is always super nice to me (:

NOT GOOD. I had waited 3 hours for my script. Then was told they did not have enough to fill my order for an Antibiotic. They told me I would have to come back in 2 days for the rest. Returned as requested as I was now out of my Antibiotic which is to be taken in succession to work correctly only to be told we do not have it! Sorry!I should have known when they were eating Doritos where they prepare the medicine and arguing/bickering with each other that they did not know what they were doing and would not have enough common Curtesy to call a sick client to say they screwed up or that they could not fill my order and that they would be happy to send my prescription to another Pharmacy.So much for supporting the local guys they could careless !

terrible service. management needs to hire people. today there was 1 cashier in the pharmacy. line backed up 4 cars in drive thru. but, even when I counted 8 employees in the pharmacy on another visit, I still could not get help. what's the problem in this place?

Rite aid pharmacy has gone down hill. An hour to two hour wait. With no people waiting. That's just unsatisfactory. They take your prescription then tell you to come back in hour or two. When your sick all you want is your meds then go home. Very unprofessional. When you have a sick child to make you come back is crazy to me. Kroger pharmacy doesn't do this. I miss pinckney pharmacy they were on top of things. Sitting with one in line or waiting but still saying it's one hour wait. They can't multi task. They turn people away. RUDE!

Once again completely inept. Sign up for your shot, they have no record of it, are rude and refuse to give it. Literally no one is there. They refuse to sign you up and say you have to do it online. Complete discrimination to our older community members that are not as computer literate.

Absolutely horrible horrible horrible! They actually promote re-use of syringes. I have been a customer there since they rudely bought out our charming hometown Pinckney Pharmacy about 8 years ago. Went there the other day and had 2 prescriptions filled (I am obviously in their system). When paying for those prescriptions and a couple other things, I asked for a box of B&D Ultra Fine Short syringes. She asked if I had a prescription, I said no, it is not required. She then asked how I was paying. Unusual question at that juncture but I answered cash, as I have no prescription coverage. The assistant then went to speak with the pharmacist (Kim) and came back and said they would not sell them to me. I have been diabetic for over 15 years and have purchased insulin and ALL my supplies at one time or another at Pinckney Rite Aid. Quite taken aback, I asked why. The assistant's answer "It was up to the pharmacists' discretion". Kim never came over to speak with me even though she just filled my prescriptions. I asked if I brought in my insulin if they would sell me some then. She said no. I explained that I take two insulin shots a day and I used my last syringe that morning. She shrugs shoulders, I paid cash for my things, and walk out upset, embarrassed, humiliated, stressed, and confused.My wife drove into town to ask why I was denied my life saving medical supplies. She video taped the entire conversation but here's the gist of it. She was told there is a heroin problem in Pinckney. They assume I'm a junkie? I'll be 60 on my next birthday, am a grandmother, have most of my teeth, and at a good healthy weight......so I must be a heroin addict? She was also offered the option of bringing in my insulin for proof although I was not. Then was offered a bag of 10 syringes to purchase although I was not. A good friend the next day went to see if she could purchase a box for me, as no prescription is necessary to purchase syringes, she was denied with the explanation of "because I said so" from the pharmacist, Scott.Rite Aid Pharmacy in Pinckney is a discriminating pharmacy that wrongly profiles and accuses innocent people of illegal activity. Although it is the only pharmacy within 10 miles, I will NEVER set foot in there again. You are GUILTY till proven innocent! Thank Goodness for Kroger where you get treated like a real customer with rights.....worth the drive for all the savings financially, emotionally, and healthfully.

Normally when I go in there my experience is pretty good. Today however the lady who was checking me out was not fit to deal with the public. She just had a bad attitude, & dressed really inappropriately for that type of environment.She acted like me buying my 1 item was putting her out or something. Next time I'll go down the road.

Awful service every time I go in. I filled my prescription over the phone and went in to pick up to be told that they do not have it in stock-- fine, I understand, oh well. However, the staff is always rude and the customer service skills are definitely lacking. I will not go here any more.

Your stores in Birmingham and Bloomfield Hills would never be permitted to look like your Pinckney store. Why isn’t the Pinckney community treated the same as these more affluent areas? Cut the freaking grass - have some pride in your facility and the community.

Worst pharmacy ever. Doesn't matter how long the prescription has been called in, it's never ready for pick up. Always some lame excuse, this time it was 'we're doing inventory', so apparently multitasking is out of the question.
