This store was clean, well organized and the shelves were stocked. My only complaint is that it did not have as big of a selection for somethings as the Brighton store. I like the atmosphere of the store better though.

This store is okay except for their produce. Every time we go there we are disappointed in the produce. So we’ve decided we are going to start posting pictures of the terrible produce continuously until it improves.I don’t understand how the produce manger(s) are still employed, they must accept every skid of produce that arrives at their store.Also, all pictures taken will be within 24 hours of purchase.*2023 update, the produce has somehow gotten worse!

Your delivery truck is the rudest person on the road. They have been delivering to the same address for weeks now. When delivering at 7 am, they leave their side "extremely bright" light on, shining every house, going very slow down the road. What are they doing, casing the neighborhood? Also, why can't they angle their truck, when dropping off the delivery, so they shine their "extremely bright" light on the house they're at, instead of shining brightly on MY HOME, especially my bedroom windows? That light should be angled downwards, so it is not bothersome to others. Try being aware of what you're doing and what adverse effects you may be causing on others. Also, this is a "dark sky" neighborhood. I would like to know why I was awoken at 7 am on a Sunday with a bright light shining my 2nd floor window? I am retired and should not be subjected to this torture!!! Please change your ways 🙏 😔I will never order from you guys until you change this very annoying habit 😒Try observing your delivery driver's habits for better customer service 😉

Went there tonight to do a shipt order which was 3 shop and deliver & they don’t know how to bag at all for 1, put meat in the same bag as produce & threw my groceries around in the cart like it didn’t matter , also the cashier was very rude and kept rolling her eyes (an older lady with black short hair) don’t recommend this store at all.

My biggest complaint is the produce is super bad here and the people that pick stuff out for your pick-up order don't care to look at your produce to see if it's good or bad. I don't know why this Kroger specifically has really bad produce but it consistently has fruit and vegetables that are on the edge of rotting or molding on their shelves every time I go in. Every time I order produce from here through pick-up I end up throwing something away because of the issues I have described above. Outside of these issues, this Kroger is solid and clean.

This Kroger location is decent for the most part, but at least once a month I will find rotten or moldy produce. Today it was the habaneros. The associates couldn’t care less (at least the teenage ones I interacted with) and the manager is always MIA.

I stopped in today, Mother’s Day, for a dozen roses. I specifically needed 12 and counted the roses to ensure there were truly 12. The bouquets that had a sticker on them saying “dozen roses bouquet” for $30 only had 10 roses in each. Each bouquet was missing 2 but the sticker, sign and price were all advertised as a dozen. I asked the Florist if she knew that the bouquets only had 10. Her response was “yes, that’s something they’re doing now”. I feel that there should be transparency and honesty here so shoppers know they’re buying ten roses not a dozen. This just makes me question integrity in pricing and honesty from Kroger.

Kroger has the best brown sugar bacon, we get it all the time. Sometimes someone puts cinnamon on the bacon. Normally I like brown sugar and cinnamon but not on bacon, it makes it bitter. Please stop it! It's labeled Brown Sugar bacon, with no mention of cinnamon. Lakeland Kroger is where this happens.

One of the 3 bins working for returning cans and plastic. The sink area to wash your hands is horrible. The paper towels are never in the dispenser and the soap container has been off the wall for months just laying in the sink. The cashier Kim was rude. Pushed/shoved my water back to me and said I don't need this I have a code to scan. I had to ask for my receipt as well. Only to come home and realize that she never once asked if I had a Kroger card and I forgot to punch in my phone number.

This store is a complete nightmare! The shelves are always empty, the store is filthy and be careful buying meat there! The chicken cooler stinks and last time i tried to buy some boneless skinless chicken thighs they were rancid. The stench from the juice dripping from the package was so bad I could still smell it on my hands after leaving! The lines are always long and the management is a complete waste of space. The check-out clerks can be completely slammed and customers are bagging their own groceries while managers like Brian stand around with with other management playing on their cell phones laughing and having a good time. The store could be on fire and he would just stand there and watch it burn!

Smell your meat before you leave the store.. I am sick and tired of doing a Pick up ..getting home then finding out they gave me rotten meat at 38.00 for pork chops. It would of been on me if I went in the store and picked it out but it seems they tell their pickers to pick us out the out of date items. I live 22 miles from this store so that is a round trio if 88 miles to do my pick up go home return the rotten meat to the store then back home!!!! They need to pay me for my gas! I am LIVID! So I called the store Angie answered the phone I told her the problem her answer is.. Bring it back! I said but I already froze some before I smelled it.. she said BRING IT BACK.. I told her I shake n bake coated it and thats when I smelled the rotten meat.. Just BRING IT BACK. OK I will bring it back ANGIE but Krogers owes me not just the 38.00 but 20.00 in gas because they knew the meat was rotten when they put it out for sale ! Do yourself a favor and DONT SHOP or do a pick up at PINCKNEY MI KROGERS!

Haven’t actually been inside the store since the police impounded both my cars so… was decent when I was able to shop there and now using Instacart, costing more overall thanks to the 👮‍♀️, they seem to do all right except when it looks like l actually ran them out of something.l live closer to Busch’s and am still waiting for Instacart to go there for a change.Heard some fixin’up was going on at Kroger, but reading all these reviews doesn’t sound like it.Regarding the meat, eewwww. Don’t much eat it any more soooo… okay by me.Chocolate chips in a pumpkin spice cookie!!! What is up with that!!!😳

We love this store, as it's been 'our Kroger' for decades, but the coupon gimmicks have become asinine. Having to jump through their complicated hoops to save $1 is causing us to regularly shop elsewhere. Mark the darn price down if you really want us to save money.

As if checking out here didn't already take a ridiculous amount of time, due to the scales never working properly, now they've added cameras! So on top of needing a cashier for weight errors, now you can extend your trip by the camera thinking you stole something every other item.Wasn't self checkout supposed to expedite shopping trips? And how I love being monitored like a thief.Go to Busch's - they treat their employees better and they treat customers better.

This place is terrible. Always so dirty and gross.-The bathroom ALWAYS smells like a port a potty after a 4 day music festival.-The bottle area ALWAYS looks like a tornado just blew through. I just went in to return cans and every machine is just beeping. That’s a regular occurrence.-There are a bunch of other examples. All you have to do is go into the parking lot.They just installed cooler doors throughout the store…guess that means this sorry excuse for a Kroger isn’t going anywhere. Guess you have to live in a city like Royal Oak in order to get a decent place to shop 👎🏻👎🏻 We’ve started driving further to go to another establishment.

First off the bathrooms are awful, porta poopers usually smell better. Secondly the freezers in the ice cream section need a deep clean, smells like month old milk when you open up the doors to grab the ice cream. Thirdly the person running the self checkouts at 6:15pm 07/06 needs a complete attitude check. The guy shut the self check off on me by quickly jumping in front of me before I could ring up my other order and proceeded to tell another customer behind me he couldn’t check out there and instead had to go get in a 20 person line, poor guy left his entire cart of groceries and simply walked out. I understand employees are hard to get but customers won’t be easy to keep running a store like this, complete embarrassment to the Kroger brand.

Do not waste your time going to the store. The lines are ridiculous ever since the pandemic began and they have never recovered. It continues to this day in 2023! They are simply unable to staff the store sufficiently in order to handle the customer flow. Go to Aldi's in Brighton and save yourself a whole lot of money and a whole lot of time. Ridiculous.Walked out tonight after a long absence. Nothing's changed. I left a cart full of groceries at the checkout after the cashier gave me a lecture about why I shouldn't be mad about the lines. I told her to keep their stuff, walked away, and I'll never be back. Ever. Nice work Beverly. Hope your retirement is going well...

Despite their posted hours for the deli, they never seem to actually be open. Today I went in at 5pm and the deli had just closed. Last week I went in at 3pm on a Thursday and was lucky enough to catch the deli employee on her way out. Mayne they could cross train one of the 15 cashiers or stockers to work in deli. Don't post a sign that says specific hours and then not adhere to them.

Read this and understand all the complaints and why the store does not respond. The store is designed to be on autopilot. There is virtually no local intervention.Things that are excellent are due to corporate design or are due to the individual employee, not local supervision. The "system" runs the store, not the local management. The store is NOT especially clean by industry standards. When they did a genuine cleaning job in preparation for a minor modernization, they fished disgusting-years-old items from under the shelves. One can of festering tuna was so bulged it was almost a ball. (Nice to know the can holds the pressure.)You can observe the absence of management. On a cold, icy or snowy miserable days. Notice that there are few if any carts inside. On delightful days almost every cart finds its way back into the store quickly. Any shopper can see that. The system completely fails and there is no local supervision. However, food cleanliness can actually be difficult to see. If it looks unclean, it is filthy. The food is clean or dirty depending on the system, employees on their own, but not the Krogers local supervision.Prices, brands, and selection are totally due to Kroger headquarters.

Got 200.00 worth of Items - Not 1 cashier on site. A 80 Year old lady in a wheelchair had to bag and scan her own items. I said something to the staff and his remark was "if you wanna fill out an application, you can bag her items." My response was "you should probably pay more then poverty level."This place is a JOKE - There was no cashiers at all --- ZERO ON SITE

Saturday 11 a.m. big storm expected tomorrow. What? racks stacked with bread blocking aisle. Free Friday cheese out of stock. Deli crazy backed up with NO order to who is next, Bakery people RUDE tells me when I ask "she is dept head , and thats all she is going to do!" When my teen asked for a little bumpy cake to be personalized. Apparently, what we asked for too much. Meaning a store with customer safety and making us feel welcome. I miss the old Kroger. The old managers. The employees being happy. The aisle being ready for crazy Saturdays. Faster and more corp. input ruined this storeWally how could you let this happen?

This store is a complete joke!! Walmart has more cashiers available at any given time than this kroger. They try to force everyone threw the u-scan but still paying full price when you are doing all the work. The cashiers especially the big blonde woman are extremely rude! No back up system for when there card systems go down you get to stand there for 30 minutes trying to pay for your groceries as your frozen foods thaw, NO atm in the building or near to get cash so you pay for your groceries. They also cant seem to stock anything.

Bought some groceries and tried to but a bottle of cooking wine. But since my ID just expired and haven't received it in the mail yet, the woman at the u-scan refused to sell me it. Even though you can clearly see that I'm 37 years old!!!! Had to go to a different store to purchase it, on New Year's day. Never coming here again!

The deli people are usually super sweet, along with all those other staff, like the bagging people, which really makes it feel like a better community. The deli people even give samples! And they are SUPER good! Yum!

This store needs to expand! Especially with all the new development coming to the area. Every weekend its packed & pretty much after 3pm everyday. The also need to move the carts back to the right side of the entrance & not the left. Im tired of always running into people going in & out.
