Went in for the first time in awhile. This place has gone down hill! There was trash everywhere in the isles, nothing was in it's place, and the cashier was not friendly at all. I'd rather just drive to meijer for whatever I need.

I really like the dollar general. Its a very busy store cause its about the only place you can buy stuff other than the grocery store and I hear its more expensive. The management handles quite a bit without strangling anyone.

I went there on September 6 2020 approximately 3 p.m. 2 young men were working behind the counter. I went to look for something and couldn't find it, so I went to the counter to inquire if they could help me. They were working over the cash register, maybe one being trained I suppose. I stood there politely waiting for them to end their task before asking my question. Got no acknowledgement they saw me there waiting. When a man with a bag of candy went in front of me in line to pay I finally lost my temper and left. I WILL NEVER GO TO THAT STORE AGAIN. I have noticed a growing trend of people my age being ignored by the younger generation and it's disturbing and hurtful. You young punks will hit 50 someday and understand what I mean.

Ever since the remodel, dollar general has stepped up their game. They now offer a lot more variety of items. They're consistent with bringing out new stock and keeping shelves stocked.

Rudest customer service i have experienced, stopped going there 2 years ago in the middle of covid they didn't have the one item I went in for, the cashier stopped checking out a line of ppl to yell at me if I wasn't gonna buy anything don't come back and I didn't!! Before that I was a regular customer but they hired the rude old lady and I won't bother shopping there, drive 5 miles out of my way to go to mottville were the appreciate the customers and are always friendly....

The store makes me have anxiety. The aisle are narrow and the store is cluttered. Too much inventory for such a small store. I trudge through to avoid Wal-Mart as much as I possible can. They do have alot of cute stuff including clothes. I have bought clothes from there and surprisingly they do not shrink so that is a plus. Download the app and load coupons prior to your trip is suggested. Makes my anxiety worth the trip! :)

They redid the store inside but they couldn't fix the broken entrance doors. They are heavy and only swing one way both doors you have to pull open the door to enter the store. And difficult the leave with a kart. I'm sure everyone struggles and touches all over the doors. Fix your doors wp dg.

a customer broke the mask mandate and when i pointed this out the cashier didn't say anything. i said it was the law and i would inform authorities and only then did she leave to retrieve a face covering. when i asked to be served while she was gone and the cashier (jacob, when i inquired for his name) said "she was here first"

As far as the employees... Very friendly and helpful. It was pretty unorganized but it's gotten alot better lately. There's 3 dollar stores close to where i live. Definitely my favorite by far.

Mottville store. No masks, no enforcing says a lot to me. Obviously, DG thinks they do not have to abide by the Governors rules. Safety is everything in times like these. Unfortunately, I will drive 11 miles to feel safe where people aren't standing behind you with no respect for social distancing.

Dollar general is where you spend it all. You walked into this place thinking that they do not have it and leaving thinkind this place is my new favorite. Trust me they might have it and more galore. Go check out this store before you walk through the doors of another variety store.

I went into our general one day and you know I by myself and they've watched me like I'm a freaking Hawk like I was going to steal I don't do that and they just give you Dirty Works their store is filthy disgusting I will never step foot in that nasty store again very rude manager everybody very rude
