I just have to share the amazing experiences we’ve had with Shelby. She’s been a true friend and guardian angel to our senior fur babies over the years, especially through their health battles. Shelby is the absolute best groomer in Chippewa county. Not only is she an excellent groomer Shelby is also an honorable pillar of the community. To know Shelby is to love her. I have 3 fur babies and unfortunately 2 of them had terrible life changing experiences at another groomer when we first moved up here 6 1/2 years ago. That experience had us searching for a new groomer and we found Shelby on Facebook when she first started around 4 years ago. I will not take my fur babies to anyone else to be groomed ever, for any reason! Shelby does get booked up quickly as she is popular as she should be. So call in plenty of time before your dog needs groomed to assure yourself an appointment for your dog when you need it. Also remember, Shelby is human and a one woman show. Some dogs show up as described others show up needing more attention to detail than described over the phone. Shelby wants to do the absolute best for your fur baby(ies) and you so occasionally she may slightly behind. Please be kind. Shelby will always communicate with you and take care of your fur babies as long as you let her. She is definitely a world class business woman.

Shelby is an amazing groomer, frankly the best I’ve taken my dog to. To say I have a difficult dog is an understatement, he is terrible for every groom, will not stay still and is just a challenge. Shelby has unbelievable patience and compassion, it’s very easy to see she loves her job and her clients, she even called to check on him after his recent surgery !!! 150% recommend !

I took my 7 month old puppy to Shelby for a full grooming. I have used her before for older dogs. She does do a nice job...usually...but this did not go well. She nicked her paw on the pad so badly that she needed stitches. That isn't the worst of it though. She told me she nicked her but sent her home with an untreated. bloody paw. Had she acted responsibly and taken her to the vet right away or at least treated the paw, I would think differently. She has shown no interest in how she is nor offered to pay the $285.00 Vet bill. Also, this wouldn't happen if she had the proper grooming equipment.

Shelby is not only an excellent groomer she is an avid animal lover. Shelby grooms both my Golden Retriever and my English Bulldog. Both dogs have different needs and personalities but I can count on Shelby to care for them both above and beyond any reasonable expectation every single time. Professional, caring, quality!!

I had an appointment for 3:00 and arrived at 2:55 and was told that she was behind at least an hour, I told her that she should have called or texted me instead of wasting my gas and her response was she was just too busy . She also told me that it would more than likely take a couple of hours to do my dog, so I decided just to cancel. Her response to me was “ but I do good work “ I’m sure she does, but doesn’t run a good business.
