Love most of their selection, I wish the steel toe/work shoes portion was larger and had more sizes. I could only find one pair in my size. But I do love that there is a discount on them when used for work. The employees are always helpful and kind.

My granddaughter and I were here on August 24th. We purchased a pair of shoes in the store. The other pair that we wanted to buy were not in the size we needed. The wonderful women working di make sure that they did not have a pair in the back, then proceeded to order what we wanted and shipped them to our house( free shipping at that). The shoes arrived today, fit perfectly and my granddaughter is very happy.We will definitely go back there for more shoes in the future.Thank you again, ladies. You were both wonderful

Rude. I walked in 15 minutes to close not even looking for shoes but looking for a suede kit and shoe deodorant. The two working the counter, especially the older lady, were beyond short and snippy. Felt rushed and a lack of customer service. I’d be surprised if I buy shoes here again. Also, let’s not mention a lack of brands and sizes. I’ve bought many pairs of work shoes here but after this experience I’ll just resort to elsewhere. Horrible experience.

The prices are awesome at this store. They had a ton of options and really great sales and clearance. I put 4 stars because the quality of the shoes was a little lower, but I was able to find many cute options. When I was there last I bought 3 pairs of shoes for $35 which I thought was awesome.

I had the most wonderful experience yesterday. Rachel the manager helped me, along with others, to find the perfect pair of tennis shoes. I have the hardest time finding shoes. My feet are wide, I have "diabetic feet", and I needed something to relieve the pain in my back. Rachel is very knowledgeable, qualified, and willing to help. I wound up making a purchase that I am highly satisfied with. The store was so we'll organized, every item priced clearly. No issues finding wide sizes. Rachel said also that anything we find online, she can order. I had gone in there a year or more ago and was dissatisfied. The changes that I saw yesterday were wonderful. I can also find a men's size 7. That's the hardest size to find. Thank you Rachel for understanding that no two people are the same.

Absolutely no customer service. Nice store and quality inventory but when I went to check out with my boot purchase, there was no one at the counter and the person stocking the shelf 10 feet away was too busy to notice me standing there waiting for service. Oh well, you try to shop local, but always end up having to shop online. Well, that's what Zappos is for.

Went into petoskey store looking for some basketball shoes for my daughter. Upon entering I came across a young woman who I asked about these shoes. She proceeded to point at her ear and tell us she was on phone. The ten minutes we were in store she kept with her personal call. Because we could hear everything she was saying. Left and will never go back. Couple days before Christmas and I bet they had little or no sales with her working. Good thing Dunhams was close by. Very disappointed.

this store definitely has a wide selection of styles but larger sizes are not necessarily prevalent and not much for skater shoes like before nice staff though

Went into the store early October 2019. The size was not available in the shoes we wanted. No problem they said, they can order them and have them sent to our house. We did that. They changed out address in the system from our old address. After waiting two weeks and the shoes didn't arrive, I received a call from a store in Kansas (I live in Michigan) to verify the address. They changed it again and told me the shoes would arrive in 3 days. The shoes never arrived. I called the original store in Petoskey. They STILL had the wrong address on file. Changed the address AGAIN. They said the shoes would arrive in 3-5 days. Now it is mid November. The shoes have not arrived. I called the Petoskey store again and guess what, the wrong address is still on file. No apologies, nothing, just an offer to refund my order or try again. Let's see if they shoes show up this time...

Actually zero stars. As a connoisseur and collector of shoes this place is miserably disappointing. Not one single pair of Jordans. Two pairs of Nikes; both NBA player size. Never again will I torture myself by walking through those doors.

Went in with my mother and two small girls. We were never offered any service despite the fact there wasn't anyone else in the store and two people behind the register. Went to ask for assistance and was met with turned backs. They'll never have my business again.
