Very well maintained shelves and clean store. There’s no club card to get the special discount. Everybody gets the discount when it was advertised.Cheerful cashiers and there were also 4 self checkout stations with an assistant stand by.Well stocked shelves and many quality and special brand products are available.

If you buy a salad for your lunch be aware that the chef salad has about half the container of bitter rhine in it from the heart of the lettuce than just regular leaf.. $5 container only worth $2.50!!!

Clean and nice assortment of inventory. I was looking for mini bagged salads which they didn't have. Pecans were quite high in price so I left empty handed. They had Tates cookies but not lemon. I'll visit Cheboygan Walmart tomorrow to get what I need.

I like shopping here because the employees are friendly and helpful. The store is smaller than the chain stores but they have a good selection of items. They have great fish and seafood choices. They have a deli and bulk foods. The store is clean and uncluttered.

I was using the self checkout station at approximately 4:30 on Saturday, August 5th, 2023. I attempted to ring up grapes and the self checkout said call for assitance and flashed its red light, and for the next 10 minutes I stood waiting for help, watching employees walk by and make eye contact. I hit the button to call for assistance a few more times throughtout.During all this, I had refrigerated stuff and freezer things thawing out.When someone finally came to help, he seemed irritated that he need to assist me. Even though the machine is the one making me ask for help, and after helping me, I could hear him complaining about it to another customer he was talking to at the customer service desk.

Kind of pricey, not competitive at all. Nothing to write home about in selection. The produce section and overall store layout feels disorganized. The ppl working the registers aren't very professional.But on the plus side if you care nothing about budget, or staff friendliness it's usually pretty quiet and quick because 80% of people can't afford to buy more then a dinners worth of groceries here.1 mile down the road D&W is also pricey but at least there selection is bigger and you aren't completely gutted when the subtotal comes!

They have good prices especially if you watch their weekly flier, friendly clerks, and usually plenty of them for the traffic, and are normally well stocked also. They're close to me too, so I don't have to fight the traffic to get there. Also: their carts are in good repair!

Love the place. Bit out of my normal pattern destination wise, but I like to support non-chain businesses. Great meat department, associates are wonderful. Environment is welcoming. Lots of great stuff, I love the granola

We stopped in about 8:20 tonight to pick up a few things we forgot to bring with us on our trip here. First thing we hear is we close at 9. As we checked at 8:30 the checkout lady was very rude. My husband very pleasantly said have a good evening. No reply was heard. Must be a store for locals only.

This store is Great! Clean, neat and the staff are very nice. I love the selection of food here and the deli area has so much to offer. Will recommend to anyone. If you are in this area go in and check this sore out.

Have to say I wasn't impressed with the help at all. The first register I went was a short, dark haired woman. She told me to find another register because she was leaving after she finished with her current customer. When I got in line at the other register, she proceeded to take 5 more people in her line. The guy who rang up my things was older, most likely retired. He acted as though he would have rather have been anywhere else but there. On the other hand. I was able to find what I needed quickly and the prices were not bad.

Twice I went to this store to order a birthday cake. Each time, the two women working the bakery area were more involved with their personal conversation to approach the counter and give me assistance with my order. They expected me to yell it to them while they stood at the back wall area. I will not yell my requests to anyone. I will never go to this store any longer, there are other stores with friendly employees, more than willing to help

Smaller store, friendly staff! Also I am happy to see a wider variety of gluten free food. Excellent liquor selection. But really it all comes down to great people. And they will bag your groceries!!

Had someone in a silver rich looking car tail me home from that store. I know this because I have road construction on my way home and I lead them through a one way circle. Unless they were in the business of doing circles in alanson, they were a tail. I had to speed up and break the law to evade them. Other than that, I love the store, next time I'll stash a weapon in my car for protection.

While prices are slightly higher than the chain stores the personal service and smaller store is a plus. They ALWAYS have mobility scooters charged and available. There's a great bulk food section and I rarely don't find exactly what I'm looking for at this nice local store. I also love Spartan products.

Love this local grocery store! Great liquor & wine selections, fantastic FRESH donuts daily (& other baked goods), they also serve hot & ready foods during the day, great produce selection, meat selection, & bulk foods selection!!!
