Easily the nicest saltwater store I've ever been to! As soon as you walk in, you can tell this is a passion, not just a business. Everything is clean and well organized, the tanks and flats are all beautiful, and the livestock is incredibly healthy. The prices are also amazing for the size and health of the corals you're buying, no little fingernail sized frags! This is going to be my new go-to fish store. If you're into reef tanks, check this place out!

Impressive! Beautiful corals and fish and at prices I feel like I haven't seen in 10 years. It's definitely worth the trip from Thompsonville. We will be back again once i have space for more corals.

Awesome selection of corals and very well taken care of. Highly recommend this store for saltwater reef and fish keepers. They usually have a good selection of fish and clean up crew members as well. Knowledgeable and a great time whenever my wife and I visit.

Absolutely amazing shop filled with a great selection of corals, fish and others! He was very kind and knowledgeable with any questions! After a 2.5 hour ride home and accumulated the new plugs and urchin were opening and happy, very nice colors as well. Definitely recommend for anyone seeking new pieces for your tank! Best healthy coral selection in northern Michigan! Zach and Bri are super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend anyone in the saltwater hobby or anyone thinking of getting into it to visit them. Always enjoy seeing them and what new corals and fish they have.

Beautiful selection of corals along with the knowledgeable staff that are helpful everytime. Super friendly, professional and willing to educate me on my needs/wants to help me get my tank to where I want it to be. Would recommend stopping in or if it’s too much of a drive, even a phone call as their staff is top notch and always helpful! There hasn’t been a time they haven’t answered my question, or helped me find the answer! Clean and organized shop with a great selection and great customer service. Best kept little gem in northern Michigan.

Beautiful selection of corals, and a few in-water hermit crabs, and shrimp. It's not a regular fish store so don't expect to find fish there , it's mostly corals, and plants. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable!It's a little hard finding the store at first, no obvious signs to show you where they are located, we had to use Google maps to find them. But definitely worth stopping by and checking them out!

Love visiting Great Lakes corals! I never walk out empty handed, and have had a great experience each and every time. Quality corals that don’t break the bank! Very competitive pricing, amazing customer service, and I never leave with unanswered questions! Can’t wait to see what the future holds for these 2! Beat coral selection in Northern Michigan and they are also willing to get u what u need. This shop has helped me pin point problems in my tank and steer me in the right direction to advance in the hobby. They are also very willing to share there knowledge of the hobby to help u advance in the hobby. Very clean shop and very friendly. A must see for anyone in the hobby in Northern Michigan.

I have been in Great Lakes Corals a few times now and I look forward to going back. The price you pay for the quality that you get is absolutely unrivaled anywhere. The owner is a wealth of information who loves what he does and doesn't simply want to sell you something. The operation is small for now but do not be put off, you will not be the least bit disappointed!
