What a wonderful store! Well stocked with a wide range of top quality merchandise at a very reasonable price. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and very attentive to the needs of their customers. I was looking for a particular Patagonia shirt but they didn't have it in stock. The offer to special order it was made immediately. Can you imagine my surprise when Natalie called a week later to let me know that the shirts were in. While checking out, she noticed my Veterans hat and extended a veterans discount! They will truly go the extra mile to insure customer satisfaction! Thanks so much.Jim

Had a great shopping experience at Bearcub Outfitters today because of Natalie. She was extremely friendly and helpful in finding me the best waterproof pants/bibs for snowboarding. Cute store with a great selection of winter gear, kid's gear, and gifts. Visiting from the U.P., but want to return and browse some more. Wonderful store to browse around with something for everyone! Very available and knowledgeable sales staff. We picked out some outdoor, animal books and adorable woolie socks for the grand babies. They have cute gifts, camping and outdoor gear, and even presents for your furry friends.

Nice store with tons of great outdoor brand name selctions. They even had a sale for Fathers day. Very friendly and helpful staff during our visit. And we had 18 people in our group! Didn't bother them at all. Would visit again for high end camping and outdoor gear.

Bear Cub Outfitters is great! Not only do they pack an amazing selection of products into their store, the inventory is always the coolest and most cutting-edge that you’d find anywhere. Our family recently embarked on a two month sailing trip and our favorite and most loved items were found at Bear Cub. If you’ve never tried a PackTowl, you’re missing out. It’s made of extremely soft and lightweight fabric which dries in a third of the time it takes for a traditional towel, and takes up a tenth of the space. They also sell Sea to Summit Shampoo & Body Wash that smells fantastic (better than CampSuds) as well as handy, roll-up bags for easy laundry washing while camping (or sailing.) Their breathable & comfortable sun shirts have saved us from sunburns (our boys happily wear them daily) while in the elements for hours at a time. Thanks for stocking great products that really work!!! ❤️

I have been visiting Petoskey for 23 years, and Bearcub is one of my very most favorite stores to visit and shop at! I clothed my oldest children in jackets and shoes from Bearcub when they were little. They are now in their early twenties, and I’m now purchasing their 6 and 4yo siblings things there. We love our Bearcub!!!!

Quaint little outfitter store. Mostly clothes but had a smaller collection of other gear. Prices seemed competitive with online retailers. They had a tent for me when mine was leaking and it was raining! Saved the weekend.

Likely a great place to buy a Patagonia puffy for your kid. My experience was sub-par, it took them 10 days to get back to me on an in-person special order, only to tell me that I should go online and buy it myself, even though it was one of their major brands.
