I grew up in Petersburg, Michigan...one of the best small towns in America. And I'll say that I have NEVER been to the campground for a 4th of July celebration. I was absolutely blown away. But to top it all off, I ordered pizza from there for the first time...delicious!! We ordered meals from Pirolli a few times on our trip and would recommend. I know many who love camping there and I'll have to give that a go sometime with my kids, too.

This campground is basically for seasonal campers. We needed a spot for an overnight to our destination. $60 a night is a little salty, considering there is no sewer hook up and a dirt site that was muddy due to rain. The campers are packed in tight. The site we were given was too tight for our motorhome, we wouldn't have been able to extend our rooms. So we parked across in an empty spot that worked. There wasn't even a fire ring or picnic table. I only gave 3 stars due to how extremely quiet it was and the manager, Scott, was very friendly.

Was there Thursday September 14th ran into the rudest cashier he was the coldest most unhappy person rude remarks when I ask him questions ... on the lighter side of my experience the store had everything you needed reasonable prices and a beatiful clean outdoors setting .. I will definitely be back hopefully the rude cold mean cashier will be long gone

This is our summer hang out. We've been going here to swim for 4 years now. We go and get a day pass ($7/ea adult) and spend the day at the pond floating and grilling and just hanging out. There is a pretty decent store onsight with a deli that has salads, grilled cheese, pizza, subs... You make it, they will make it for you. They also sell beer and liquor along with just about anything else you may need. T be ey even sell rafts to float on. The staff is incredible and make you feel like family. I highly recommend Pirolli Park for the whole family.

Pirolli Park is very family friendly! The staff and fellow campers are equally as kind. I also appreciate that they have enough activates and to keep my children happy and busy. My family always enjoys our time spent there. It is clean and the store has everything you need available, should you forget something. We also love their pizza. One of the best I have had!

The food was decent. The prices were absolutely outrageous for food and camping in general. Some of the staff members were very nice while other were just plain horribly rude, unkempt (As in seriously, take a shower). The property is very nice. We had one problem where our dog was barking, we came back and said we would keep him with us and they were fine with that so it's understandable. Price wasn't worth what you got and the rudeness of the staff even just upon arrival. The lady that hands out dog treats is great though! I didn't appreciate how my dog barked and I got in trouble but the very obvious long term camper with 4 Maltese that attacked the gate every time we walked by didn't get any backlash. All we heard that weekend was 4 dogs attacking gates as people walked by. Step it up guys.

Had the most enjoyable time this past Memorial Day weekend. They had so many fun activities planned for the whole weekend. Swimming pond with sand beach was amazing! Store was fully stocked with anything you could need. Bathrooms were clean. Couldn't ask for a better camping experience. We enjoyed it so much we are looking to become a seasonal there. Keep up the great work Pirolli Park!

We have camped here for 10 plus years and have always had a great experience. My mom also has a camper here and couldn't be happier. The rules are so everyone can have a pleasant experience. We even have our huge family reunion here every year and the owners go out of their way to make sure we are happy. They have things going all the time so everyone can have extra fun at no additional cost to us. Very satisfied customers here.

Took our grands for a day of fishing and swimming. All 5 grands caught a fish which was awesome! After fishing we had lunch then went swimming. I would recommend wearing water shoes because there are stones and shells in the pond. There was a teenage girl who was swimming and came out of the water with a bloody foot. Not sure what she stepped on but she had 3 lacerations to the bottom of her foot. Overall we had a great time and will be back!

We all love Pirolli Park. My family has been coming there for the better part of 35 years. The park is always clean and the owners and staff have always been friendly. I recommend the park to all I know and I always said I'd I could live there permanently I would without hesitation. 10 out of 10 stars

Pirolli is spacious and quiet, very pretty compared to a lot of the lottle local campgrounds. A good place to relax and have a fire.

I was a seasonal for the 2019 season. I’ll start by saying the good at the store was great. Great selection of liquor and great food. The Italian sub was always my favorite. The younger blond and the younger guy who worked the store during the week where always great. The weekend crew not so much. I never had a issue with the so called “parking lot nazi” so that was good. The lake was very clean and warm during the summer months for swimming. Now the bad. The campground was very quiet. Almost too quiet. It made me feel like I was at a retirement community at points. I’ve also got yelled at for playing soft music at night while having people at my site. The music was not loud at all and could not be herd from the road or another campsite. I asked my neighbors and they all said they could not hear it from the site. Also got yelled at the same night for talking by the fire pit. I felt like anytime I had my neighbors from other sites over or friends at my site I was being watched waiting to get yelled at for something. Charging for extra guests I think is a little extreme. In my case I was alone at my site. And if I had a friend come visit I would have to pay. I get it charging for a car pass and that’s it. But you have to pay per person. People also have to pay full price if they bring a 1 year old in. Not a big fan of that. The electric bills are crazy. 110 dollars for one month and only being at the campsite for a total of 5 days that month and not having anything running other than my fridge. Crazy. I’d like to see DTE look into that situation since we don’t get a actual bill for the electric only a piece of paper with the amount and the site on it. The roads would be a lot better with a fresh layer of gravel ( just my personal opinion on that one). Went to come camp my last weekend I had under my contract and I was informed that she sold my site for the weekend to someone else. So I did not even make the trip back. Great way to run a campground. Money hungry as hell. towards the end of my contract I felt like I was being pushed out as fast as possible. When I said I was not coming back i was sent back with a message of “check out September September 15 3pm” found that kinda rude. Could have been addressed with a nicer message. For what you pay for season then add on the electric bills and the guest passes you could stay at a nicer campground with paved roads and more things to do for the Same price. Very money hungry campground. I’m shocked she did not sell out my site when I took my camper out for a weeks vacation. I do not recommend anyone to be a seasonal here.

The campground is very nice. We have friends who are seasonal and everyone goes by waving, they make you feel so comfortable and it's a beautiful campground. The seasonals put a lot of time and effort into making their lots look and feel like home. There is a ton of stuff for the kids to do and they have activities as well on the weekends. Highly recommended checking it out.

My family, husband, children, grandchildren and friends have been coming to Pirolli Park for about 10 years. After a year of camping, we became Seasonal Campers. They have so many activities, the store is so handy with reasonable prices, with a deli and great tasting pizza. it's a Family Owned Business and the Staff is wonderful.

I just love the pizza here and the Italian sub however I must say I was not too pleased when I got home and noticed they added 4% to my bill for using a debit card.I repeat... they surcharged me 4% for using a debit card. They called it a "service fee."

We just became seasonal campers at Pirolli & we Absolutely Love It! All the events and activities held at the campground are so fun, the staff is super nice, and we're having a blast meeting other campers! So happy we were introduced to this place, it's going to be a Fantastic Summer! & I'm so excited to let my family and friends see how wonderful it is at Pirolli as well! I highly recommend it to other campers!!!

Overall the park was very clean and tidy, but not much to do for children. They nickle and dime you every chance they get. Staff was friendly untill i said we werent gonna stay another season. Read contract carefully, it expires 9/30, but they want you out by 9/15. A lot clean up fee was 40$ and i felt like the electricity bill was very high. Considering the only thing on was the refrigerator the while month, It was ove 60$. I would not recommend staying for the season.

I went to join a family get together, we played horse shoes on there one horseshoe pit. Which is nice. They have the play set and volleyball net way down by the woods which i made me not want to even go that way on the account of the mosquitoes. The water is fairly clean and color dyed turquoise. Kept stepping on lots of unfamiliar things while swimming. They had music they were going to set up at 830. But we decided not to wait. All in all. Got some sun. Had a lil fun.

Not a great experience. Food at store was great but workers were rude. Atmosphere was nice but a little spacy. Security was rude to not only my family but other families as well. Owners were not as friendly as I expected. Male was nice though. Very strict and not personable. Honestly nice place with fun activities. Needs work on staff and owners themselves.
