Well that missing employee is back and it's the same ole congested, messy, dangerous store it use to be. The isles are so blocked it's difficult to get to items on shelves and maneuver the cart! Too bad...I gotta shop somewhere else.June 21, 2023Soooo much better the last couple of months. Maybe they have new employees! Honestly this is the best store in the perry area. They have everything you can need if you can't make it to Walmart or Kroger.

The pictures of aisles blocked were taken on truck day when the store was being overwhelmed by stock. Those girls "standing and chatting" are taking a much needed break after unloading trucks, pushing heavy u boats full of water, and stocking 35lb bags of dog food. That "mean man"? He has mental disabilities, and even with state assistance is choosing to be there to help the women working who are literally breaking their backs. Retail workers are tired, abused daily by customers, and they give the energy they receive. And "the other store down the road" I hear is worse with cleanliness and friendly helpful staff, so by all means, choose them.

Miles is extremely rude and very hostile every single time I shop there. Today I had enough and told him how rude and mean he always is, his response was “well, there’s other stores you can shop at.” I asked to speak with the manager, to which he ignored several times. Finally he walked away from the desk and came back a few minutes later, and said nothing. I kept asking about the manager, and after several minutes he said he told her. Eventually, I went looking for her. Pamela, who was sitting on her phone in an office, I knocked and opened the door. Told her I had been waiting at least 10 minutes to speak with her. She claimed Miles didn’t tell her I wanted to speak with her. She told me I was rude for knocking on her door interrupting her phone call. Then proceeds to walk to the front of the store. While I’m walking behind her explaining what happened. She was extremely rude as well, would not provide me with a corporate number. She said to look it up online. I’m not sure why Miles is allowed to continue to work there. I have been going to this location for a few years. He’s never been nice. He’s always hostile, and aggressive. He acts very bothered that he has to ring your items up. I’ve always said hello, and thank you, and he won’t even acknowledge you speaking to him.

Have been to this family dollar several times for odds and ends. The store itself is always unorganized and messy. Carts of boxes always in the aisle, making it hard to look at products on the shelves, or push a cart through. The staff stay at the register and chat, or stay on their phones. It feels like they do not care about their store responsibilities or their customers. The staff member I delt with tonight was rude, and acted like it was a problem that he needed to ring me out and continuously mumbled under his breath the entire time he was checking me out. His name is Miles. While I like family dollar, and the items carried there, I will now be taking my business up the road to dollar general. I am just one person, but professionism and courtesy matter to me and tonight I did not receive either of those things. I hope this review can help guide those employees in the right direction moving forward and that they take better care of their customers in the future.

Employee saw me standing in line and decided to help another woman and then chose to talk about us to other customers sorry we inconvenience you by bringing our kids smh I’ve never seen a job description say talk about customer behind their back won’t be coming back ever.

*Update* Was almost like a whole new store, they had all new art/office supplies lots of brush tipped pens, new acrylic paints and even paint pallets and organizers. And the new staff are very friendly and keep the store quite clean. Just watch out for rebecca, she'll go on and on about her son the pyro...Always a good time and usually cheap prices.

Service is great. Very nice workers. I live their prices very cheap! Some things are expensive though. I would lower thise prices a but.One problem though. They never have coffee creamer. Now whenever I go there. And I go over to where the coffee creamer is and they never have it.So if I where you I would get a lot more coffee creamer.I'm talking about a certain type of coffee creamer

Be careful watch your receipts that woman with short hair who works here double scan one my items she heard it do it to, I get home she didn't take it off thought she did!!! Then if u try use any manufacturer coupons here they say they don't scan and never take them. Off so then your out your coupon!!! Something not right with that!

Very clean store that is well taken care of the workers are very nice and kind always helping out in anyway that they possibly can... Pam has worked there as long as I can remember and she works so hard to keep the store clean and to keep the line short and fast but she also try’s her very best to keep all of the customers happy at the end of the day! She works at almost every holiday when I go in to grab last minute things and she is always joking and making the customers laugh and smile and she works the longest shifts she definitely deserves a raise! All the shelfs are stocked and it’s nice to see they always have good deals

I immensely dislike this store they advertised on the window$5 off so much money $10 off so much money, then you get up to the counter and you have to download their app, and then you download their app and they say that that email address is already been used but it hasn't and then when you try to reset a password they say there is no such email address and they still won't give you the discount. Things are always marked the wrong price. If there's something that's two for $5 you can't just buy one for 250 you have two by two and you only really wanted one it's just ridiculous every time I go to the store I have an issue.

Great staff product selections don't like how they changed it around was hard finding what I was looking for to many customers for only one cashier waited in line forever it felt like.

Don’t buy the lactose milk bought them twice and it was already expired it wasn’t even past its expiration date, it gets sour in a day or two
