The boss here. I worked here and my last day was holoween there and I wasn't on the schedule for 2 weeks and I been messaging the boss to see if I'm on the schedule and after 10 days of ignoring me she finally said I no longer work there anymore and when I was there she told like 5 customers on my first day to not come to her store anymore and she also told me to not ever come back. And other dollar general said that the boss constantly gets fired and re hired. And she only gave me 4 hours a week there and nvr trained me. That place is not a good place to work there at all. She don't give people hours. And I worked there 1 day a week for 4 hours

The workers are so personable and friendly. The store is pretty well stocked. Prices are great. Large Variety of products from food to the Christmas light clips I bought.

Unfortunately I had to give them a star, the new manager and the assistant manager are really rude and disrespectful. I was in there the other day when the assistant manager and the manager were talking about one of the employees I can't believe everything they were saying. I have only been in there a few times since the new manager due to her rudeness and snootiness in a way that she talks to her she shouldn't even be working. I have called corporate a few times on her and it seems like they dismissed everything I said about her rude self. I wouldn't recommend this Dollar general to anyone

I would give them a zero if I could. I was just in there and treated rudely by the new manager. They had a bag of candy in a spot that said 4.25 and when I checked out it rang up 9 something. So the girl has him check and he didn't walk to end of display where the candy was. I walked back there and showed him and he said he didn't have to honor the price or make the customer happy. I will never shop there again and obviously Jed does not know the law. The place is always a mess and things always in carts and not on the shelf. I am in retail and know if something is priced wrong it is the law the price must be honored.

Rude employees that are not capable of printing a simple receipt. The printer didn't print my whole receipt because it was put of paper. The employees refused to reprint me one. I was told the machine was to old to reprint receipts. Total line of bs. I also overheard the girl at the register cussing to a customer. Totally inappropriate and unprofessional.

Staff is unkempt and dirty. They are impolite. The aisles are often crowded with stock and packaging material while staff is outside smokiing in front door way creating a cloud of stink that you have to walk through going in. Go to Family Dollar or the other store in town for your needs.

Over the summer this location had a remodel. I'm surprised at how this store looked and not in a good way. You create a fresh produce section with brown bananas, dole salad bags expiring Sept 10th & 11th that were purple. A new row dedicated to freezer and refrigerated items decently stocked. The rest of the store just kind of a mess, one isle has half empty shelves and others just looked cluttered. I know it's not a Walmart or meijer but you could use more than 2 employees at a time. I've never seen more than 2 working any time I stop at this location (Perry). I like the location it's on my way to work so definitely convenient. I do know this place definitely gets it's fair share of traffic.

From Lansing and was in Perry for doctor's appt. Stopped at this store with my mom and it was super nice and very clean! They had everything we needed and more. Most importantly, the staff...all the staff was so welcoming, very kind and superrr helpful! Especially the manager! Superb and outstanding customer service. This is one of thee best Dollar General stores I've been to! Very impressed!

Finally found a pair of men's sneakers I like from DG, but found another pair that was obviously worn because sole had dirt on it. Cashier acted nonchalantly about somehow the manager has no say in ordering more sneakers. Occasionally go there when it's nice outside but a bit too far from town. Seems like they don't care about the stores appearance. Competitor has nicer employees though.

So much more than just a dollar store. They had very polite staff a large selection of just about anything you could need for the day to day. Also I met a nice women while I was there. Great stop. I'll never forget it. Thank you.

The store manager is so rude. She hates that we come in there and we use coupons. Especially the dollar general electronic coupons. She tries to start a fight with you when you have coupons. I go there because it is close to my job and I want to save money. If I could give no stars I would. All other employees are super nice but she is the worst.

Morning staff is a little aggressive whenever i come in, i went in today looking to exchange some coins for cash because they have a coin shortage, i exchanged 2 dollars made up of a lot of pennies and i had to watch the person up front count them out even though you could see that it was or at least very close to $2. I saw that they had a sale on their cold brewed coffee ($1 instead of $2.85 for 15 ounces) so i took 3 up to the register and i had to convince them that the sale existed. when they saw the sign they pointed out the fine print that said it was only for a certain flavor that i don't think they carry. Second or Third shift probably would've just applied the discount to the other flavors, and i understand that i shouldn't expect them to do that but i don't think it would've made much of a difference.Second and Third shift are really pleasant people and interacting with them always makes me pretty happy whenever i come in. I don't have a whole lot of money to spend but i almost always spend my extra candy cash there, and i was a little bummed out because of the iced coffee thing today but they were just doing their jobs so i can't really blame them.Overall, its worth a visit. Their candy and Icecream is almost half the price as the other places in Perry so i almost always know i'm getting a deal compared to the other stores whenever i go there even if it's less of a deal on iced coffee. :)

The guy with the weird hair that rang me up was RUDE! could of been way more polite. I def won't be back. Cannot stand when people do not do their job 100 percent. You can tell who is just their for a paycheck. Even being a cashier you should be friendly and courteous. Their are plenty of people that would gladly take your spot and do it with a smile!

I stop here 4x a week and I have no idea why anyone would give this store less than 5 stars. Yeah, it's cluttered. But what did you expect from a store that sells at a discount: a red carpet?!The staff and mgr are by far the best I have seen in this company. I worked at the Corunna one, so I know how horrific mgrs can be. The ones here truly care abt their customers and their staff and it shows. Great job y'all. Keep it up.Oh and the review from Zach Lewis is not only inaccurate but pathetic. The mgr did NOT state anything about shooting his dog (I was there). He simply told him he couldn't bring in his pup unless it was a service dog as there is food items in the store.I am an animal rescuer and know for a FACT the mgr is an animal lover and would NEVER speak about harming an animal.

Great prices,location and staff (females) are very helpful. Talked with one. Wish I'd have given my number lol.I usually go there for snacks,TP,paper towels. I bought wireless earbuds today for under 10 bucks and although not great sound,they work pretty good for when I go shooting and wanna blare my metal music.

First things in the morning and I received the worst customer service. The cashier was just rude that I had a large bill and they didn't have the change. There are better ways of going about the issue, as a customer service person myself.

Great, cheap items! Food is cheap here as well. I found my favorite ice cream here for two dollars less than what it was at the grocery store and the staff is super nice!

Pretty good prices on most things. Surprisingly, some items can be found cheaper at Walmart. Also, what might be in stock one day, may not be the next.

I went for a graduation card and they seemed to be scattered all over. The congratulations sections in the greeting card area didn't even seem to exist or were just completely all over and unable to locate!
