First time here and in any of these stores, so clean! I like the bright, clean atmosphere here, which reminds me of a Harding's store when they first opened up, or a Walgreens well lighted store. The employees are great!

The Starbucks is what brought me in, then I found the fresh doughnuts, and everything about the store that I've noticed has been on point! I'd give a 10 star review if I could.

This is a nice local owned grocery with a lot of amenities that the big box store doesn’t have. I have a great meat department, and their donuts are flat out amazing in the bakery. They carry a wider variety of a lot of products then the big box and if you shop there sales they are competitively priced for the services that you get.

Really nice home town store located near the restaurants. If you have a yes card you'll find some great savings. The bottle returns have been updated recently so they are the nicest in town. The produce is best as well. You'll also be able to find the random items you need 5ovmake sushi at home.

I love this Family Fare because they offer a wide variety of groceries plus they have a Starbucks inside at the front door. I can enjoy a great cup of coffee while I shop. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great place for grocery deals.

We have always spent more to shop here and the customer service was worth it...but it has really gone down hill lately. The deli that serves the best fried chicken around closes at 5...how can you close at 5 on a Friday? People actually work...ya know a job....it seems like they just close it up when the staff feels like going home. The excuse was I already cleaned the meat slicer...and offered cold chicken...not sure who made that choice but very confused. The lady at check out who can't stand up because of disability good for her for still working but she is rude as hell and just a bitter person. I realize staffing is tough all over but not the same place it was even a year ago.

I really like this grocery store, and go here whenever I can, even though Walmart is very close by. They have a good selection of vegetables, decent meat, a nice deli and bakery area, and a Starbucks in store. They have plenty of parking, and a very convenient bottle return. The store is generally clean, well lit, and well organized. The reasons for 4 stars: their prices are a bit higher than Walmart, and once in a while they don't have enough cashiers. If you need to shop late in the day these days, they push everyone through the self checkout, which is a lot slower, sometimes frustrating and forces you to lift heavy items multiple times. If I have to shop that late, my day has been very tiring, so that's an unwelcome change, but probably due to staffing issues from the pandemic, so I just try to shop earlier!

If you need something at the service station everyone will avoid making eye contact, and will ignore the fact that you are there waiting for help. Finally after walking over to a group of employees standing around talking by a cash register someone acknowledged me. The employee told me they could not help me and finally one lady came over to make a money order for me. It took a very long time to get someone to complete a simple task for me. I almost left before I got assistance because I felt I was going to be ignored the whole time I was there. Knowing what the starting pay there is makes it a little more understandable, but it still was not the service I was expecting in this store. I definitely get better service in Walmart and will not be wasting my time there again if I can help it.

Your standard local market. It's relatively small, but considering the size of the city it's in (Paw Paw, MI), it makes sense. Pretty solid selection of nearly anything you'd need. The produce is good quality, and there is also a pharmacy and deli/meat counter on site. Pair those with the Starbucks right by the door, and you've got yourself a one-stop shop.

I felt really unwelcomed do to the the man that was cleaning the floors. To everyone just rude and hostile feeling. I left the store because of it. It a store people are going to be walking in the alise doesn't mean to get the dramatic eye rolls and snarky remarks.Now April 11,2023 and that same man is there at the costumer service desk and had a additude of a preteen cause of bottles I couldn't use in the machines cause the temporary one for glass didn't work. Its a okay super market, it doesn't really have anything special to it. Like most super markets or big stores you HAVE to sign up for there special card if you want there savings. Which is annoying, compared to a few years back from this post, you could walk in and just get the savings or use coupons.

There's a few very crabby and judgmental cashiers here, but the rest are so nice 🙂 I keep coming back. But there is one in particular that was not very nice once she found out I was using food stamps and I was too ashamed back then to say anything. That was a very hard time for my family, so shame on her for that. Fruit selection is nice, but I wish they'd offer me re exotic fruits like starfruit or dragon fruit. Deli meat is the best in the area by far. Great cheese selection.

I am sorry to say, prior to the pandemic, I did not shop at Family Fare as my main Go-To Grocery Store because I worked in Kalamazoo. Since the pandemic, I used Family Fare on a weekly basis. We use Fast Lane. The staff are wonderful to work with, they pick out the best produce for you, I appreciate the positive attitude, there are so many negative ones these days. I truly believe they are getting better at stocking certain items that they were not before. If you normally shop at a big box, try Family Fare. You will get a warm fuzzy felling from the staff that I guarantee you will not get from a big box store.

They have higher quality produce and food items than some other places. I prefer to shop here for certain items and would say it's not a one stop shop. Check out lines aren't too bad usually. I tend to use the self checkout most often. Also of note, they have great donuts! 🍩

Very unprofessional pharmacy staff. Was early for covid testing. Was told to wait so the guy could go out and smoke. Then another staff member told me to wait because they were not set up. Never had an issue before with being early. No cars were behind me wanting a prescription eitrr.

Pricing at this store is shockingly high / bad, and that comes from someone used to high prices in a top-5 metro area. Most items cost more here than where I currently live.Product selection has gotten substantially better since the time I used to live here. More higher-end, all-natural, and organic offerings. And a STARBUCKS!!!Staff have always been on the friendlier side compared to other stores.Great option when a Whole Foods isn’t available.
