This review is to say how awesome the newest hire Syron Williams is. He is very pleasant to interact with, opens the doors for customers when he is able to and greets everyone who walks into the store with a smile on his face. Upon check out he always has jokes to tell and makes shopping experience a good one. It’s wonderful to have such a friendly employee at dollar general who wants to be there working. Future staff could learn a lot from him! Way to go DG of Parma you picked a great guy for the job!

Its no secret the Parma DG fails to thrieve & ppl around here don't like change.... Recently DG hired Syron Williams, he is like a breath of fresh air, he brightens up this store with his outstanding CS! Don't get me wrong there are 2 other employees who are great too. Syron is ALWAYS upbeat & positive, he greets & interacts w/ every customer that walks thru the door, even the grumpy fools who snarl if spoken to. I hope Parma DG keeps Syron, a positive upbeat human who wants to work, give him the hours so he is able to continue making our in /out shopping experience the best possible.

I stepped into DG in Parma, Michigan. I was greeted by a great man, Syron Williams. As I shopped I heard him greeting and interacting with customers. He truly represents the meaning of Christmas. He lifted my spirit. I am FOREVER GRATEFUL ❤️💜

Terribly slow service, lower level employees steal from the literacy fund, will fire thieves instead of prosecuting them to allow them to seek employment at other cash handling jobs, and they ignore basic cleaning. Store is terrible, only saving grace is thier assistant manager Robyn. The store manager, Julie, also makes it regular practice to break Dollar Generals own Standard Operating Procedures by having employees working alone for hours at a time and past daylight hours.

My family goes here for everything (if possible). Over time it has gotten much better with organization and friendly staff. The only thing I would say is it would be enjoyable to have music playing and if you could access your dg app but there is never any service when in the store. However, the associate that always sings is such a joy. She is always smiling, willing to help, and there at the register when your ready to check out. Thank you all for your hard work everyday!

This store is always busy! I wish corporate would allow more employees and treat the good ones better. It seems all the good ones get burnt out and overwhelmed and leave. How is one person supposed to stock shelves, run the register, and attend the mandatory phone conferences? Corporate puts ridiculous demands on staff and when the store gets behind, the customers blame it on the staff without knowing how much pressure corporate puts on them!

Extremely poor management. The store is always a mess. I just can't understand that for almost months now the store is still not sorted out. Not just the people working there with utterly extremely poor at service most of them. I'm surprised this store is still open and why nothing with not plan to get the store up and straighten out. Its convenient to shop at the store because it has your daily needs and is close to home. The management of this store is extremely poor with no team work or manager to lead them so why have the store open? Its always a mission to move around in the store cause stock carts are taking up most of all the Isles. This is a joke to the store and the company. With potential the store has on the location it's on it's a joke on why the store is still in a situation it is. Something has to change!!!!!

Takes forever to restock their shelves. Store very messy alot. I've had to move big carts of merchandise before just to get something off of a shelf. Cart was still sitting there untouched 2 days later. Most employees at the store are very nice. There are a couple very rude and sarcastic ones.

This Dollar General used to be cluttered and generally discombobulated. Ever since the current manager took over the improvement has been profound. I had not been in there for several months(due to the former condition) but had to go in for a small item. I did a double take. If you quit going here, I recommend giving them a second chance. You will not be disappointed.

Good selection of items. Staff greets you with a smile and ask if u needs help. Kids clothes are good priced and a great variety of snacks/food.

While the prices are reasonable, the store always seems to have stock blocking parts of some aisles. The location is convenient for while I'm taking my kids to school but I'd rather go somewhere else if I know I'll be driving one.

I go here all the time and never have any issues, but today was different. Today around 12:30pm-1pm a worker that has worked there for a long time yelled at me in the checkout. I put my stuff on the counter and she yelled "you need to move so that I can change the prices for those clearanced items!" I replied "sorry?" And turned to the people in line to see their shocked faces. My mom has had issues with her and has reported her and ive always questioned why until now.

Great employees but dollar general corporate are crooks. I clipped a coupon that stated if you spend $50.00 pretax you save $15.00. I went yesterday right before closing and filled my cart up with over $50.00. Well I did not save $15.00 because DG corporate deleted the coupon stating systems issues. Is it legal to advertise something then not honor it. I like fraudulent coupons at least that is what I am calling it. If they was going to not honor it then why offer it and make me spend the time shopping for so much to have to put back what I did not want. I think from now on I do not want to do any business with them unless I have no other choice.

Recently remodeled Dollar General. Usually has what I need when I don't want to make a trip to a bigger store. Always has a great selection of clearance especially at the end of a season.

Ok. But never understand why you only employe 1 person per shift. This happens in All DGs. It's takes at least 2 bear minimum. Then there's not back stock in the Isles all the time. Just listen to them.I work retail myself .I know the pain of no help.

I do not understand why these stores are pooping up on almost every corner. I never see anyone in their parking lot and the name is deceiving. Rarely are things truly a dollar.

It's convenient and has a great variety of useful items. Saves travel time to Jackson for quite a few things we need and can get right here in Parma.

Store is pretty disorganized. Problems with checkout equipment cause you not to be able to use loyalty card at times. Understaffed.

Some friendly staff. But it's always very disorganized. Items laying everywhere nothing is ever in the right spot. Employees are always complaining to customers about other staff members or how they hate there job and manager.

This location is always filthy and nobody greets me when I walk in the door. It's always crowded with products so you can't use a cart to get around
