This is a yearly February tradition for me now. Great fish! And I got to meet Vicki again, who saved my life last year by giving me a ride back to the campground at the lower falls after I unknowingly hiked to the upper falls on a closed trail (several hours in 4 feet of snow). Good memories!

I enjoyed the upper falls more than the lower falls. Possibly because there was a brewery!🍻 The only brewery in a state park anywhere in the country!Good food, good beer, live music out in the courtyard.🎸 🎶 The world's largest gift shop I've ever seen 😱 a food truck. An ice cream parlor.🍦 It's set up like a small town but it's inside of a park.Oh yeah back to the falls. Yep it's another waterfall. Yep it's a nice walk. Probably on one of the nicest engineered and constructed boardwalks I've ever seen 👀The upper falls is less pandemonium than the lower falls. Two things I noticed. Firstly you can enter this area of the park without a daily park pass for your car. I'm guessing this is because the people who own the brewery (who used to own the entire area) probably mentioned to someone that it was not a good idea to charge for every car that entered 🤑 There is however a sign saying that you need to have a park passport. I had a day use pass from the lower falls. I never saw a park ranger anywhere in this park. The other thing of note is a horrible ginormous aluminum bridge, apparently constructed and transported from Florida and erected across the river leading to the island between the falls .I don't know what someone was thinking but it's certainly doesn't flow with the river so to speak lol....Parking: This is a huge parking lot. Although it might be a little difficult if you have a camper or trailer, because people with cars will park in the RV spots.... There is a pay booth upon entry but it is not staffed.Kid-friendliness: Of courseWheelchair accessibility: Yes 👩

Tahquamenon Falls Brewery and Pub is the perfect venue to experience an awesome meal and maybe an adult beverage. Everyone is so happy and professional. The food is amazing. We will eat here again. Everything was very clean. And the prices are very reasonable.

Stopped in for a bite after hiking the falls. We got the special burger of the day and our first pastie. The orchid on the pastie was a nice added touch. Food and service were both fast and good. Sat outside to eat at one of their many picnic tables. I did notice they add a 15% gratuity to all take out orders. That includes their outside picnic tables. Nice gift shop.

Walked in the door and the sign said wait to be seated. We stood there for just over five minutes and so I asked this guy who looked like a tourist, how do we get a table. He grabs two menus and said to follow him. As we head to our table, a woman comes out from the kitchen and tells the three of us to go back and wait, she will be right with us. She came back and seated us a minute later. Then a few minutes later a different woman comes to take our order. We both had a Pasty... not much flavor.

Food was ok. The white fish was pretty tasteless and was on a plain bun. I ordered the plate and was brought the sandwich but rolled with it. Beer was pretty good quality. The service was definitely 2-3 stars. It was not busy. But the staff was more concerned with chatting with each other. Getting refills and your ticket then paying was a hassle to be a non peak time. Especially with so many staff working. Would recommend grabbing beer to go and enjoy it at your campsite.

Very nice establishment. It definitely had the rustic look and feel if you are looking for that. The food was great and our server was very pleasant and attentive. My bison burger was a bit burnt around the edges but it still tasted good enough to eat. I did not say anything about it because we arrived 45 minutes till close. I'd definitely recommend. If I'm ever in the area again I would go back.

It's really a state park restaurant that happens to brew a few beers. As the only dining spot in a popular state park, it's a busy, noisy place with lots of families. The food was pretty good. My wife really liked her salad with chicken, cherries & candied walnuts. My bison burger was pretty good too. Service was friendly & efficient in this busy place. The beers were not great. They only offer 4 kinds: an amber, a wheat, a peach wheat and a stout. My wife had the amber and it was bitter and harsh. I had the peach wheat which didn't taste like peaches and had a weird sour taste.Parking: Parking is plentiful and free (if you don't count paying park admission). The brewery shares the parking lot with the visitor center.

The last time I ate here was in 2017. Then, it was great. Now, not so much. We went for lunch and the total was $70.00 for whitefish and fries, a ribeye, One beer and water. Had the meal been good, it wouldn’t have been a problem. Both of our meals were not seasoned and were bland. We had to add a bunch of salt to attempt to make it better. Our soup sides were cold and were not even hot. The chicken in the pot pie soup looked pink and underdone so I didn’t even eat more than a few bites. The bar area was super cold and we did not feel any heat. Such a disappointment. Won’t be back.

FIRST TIME AT THE FALLS!What a surprise. Truly a magnificent sight. I’ve seen a lot of the other Michigan falls, but this is THE one. I loved the power you can hear coming off of this!We stopped at the Brew/pub for a quick drink! Cute stop! I got the Porcupine Ale and it was DANK. The shop was super cool too. Lots of typical tourist stuff but with COOL designs. Ended up getting a shirt. I love getting shirts from places I’ve been.I also left a gift wrapped painting behind! I camp a lot with my pop and his pup. I usually gift my paintings to my mom but I think it’s fun to sprinkle them around Michigan.Anyway! I hope you and whoever had just as much, if not more, fun than I!! Get out into nature and breathe some air!!

I was very surprised with this place. It was excellent. Willing to bet best place within 100 mile radius. The fish was excellent and my girl friends hamburger was good too. We both really loved the fries. The desert was killer too. The atmosphere here is top notch. With animals mounted on the walls, to great artwork hung as well. Each table has a lit flame on it to add to the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and willing to answer all my questions about the animals and artwork. Very affordable too. Did I mention the beers! 10/10 would recommend.

Super cool little stop, don't remember it being this cool the first time we went but then again that was about when we were kind of still in the pandemic so I understand why so many places would have been closed. Nature was one of the best things to experience during that time though and both times were not an upset!

The food is outstanding, the barkeeps are friendly and accommodating, and the location is perfect. Location was a surprise, we camped at the state park and planned a 45min drive to get dinner but came across this on our visit to the Falls. I had the Italian Hoagie and it was one of the best I've ever had. We sat at the bar to skip the line felt like we had a better experience. A visit here should be in your plans when visiting Tahquamenon Falls

Awesome spot to eat and drink after hiking. I can't believe every major park area doesn't have something like this! The food was very good - I had a beef pasty and the nachos. The pasty came with fantastic gravy, and the nachos had fresh, delicious toppings and cheese. I enjoyed a flight and really liked all four beers. The staff was friendly and the service was really quick.

Located right in the Tahquamenon Falls State Park, Upper Falls this is a must stop. There was entertainment, a souvenir shop, snack window and opportunity for outside dining. We enjoyed a light meal in the restaurant. Social distancing and masks were required and the cleanliness was very apparent. My husband ordered the Whitefish sandwich and I had the salad with whitefish and maple vinaigrette. Very good! We also ordered pasty to go for dinner tomorrow., an Upper Peninsula favorite. Lots on the menu I would like to try. I so enjoyed one of the recommended microbrewed beers; Wolverine Wheat. Excellent! Good service and fair prices.

Nice place to eat after a long hike! Food is good and the beer is ok… kind of a long wait, but limited options especially with the bees around outside.
