Me and my wife had our honeymoon here last year in July. The staff is amazing I'd like to thank Tim and the owner's daughter they're really nice people and all your stuff here are absolutely amazing. This hotel is really clean their breakfast is absolutely the best and well worth the money included in with the price of the room. Also you literally have the lake in your back yard the back deck on this hotel is huge with a great view. Also everybody in town treated me and my wife like family it was a great experience coming to this hotel. We're definitely coming back in 2024.oh they also have pool, jacuzzi and sauna all well maintained and very clean.Rooms: The rooms are really nice and cleaned

I really wanted to give this lovely hotel 5 stars, but multiple deficiencies in the guest room knocked it down almost to 3 stars. The lobby is large, bright, and attractive. Front desk staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Our first impression upon entering our room was "Wow!" It was clean and bright, with a gorgeous view of Whitefish Bay. But the deficiencies gradually became evident. There is no desk, just a nice table. There are several wall outlets, but no outlets on furniture or lamps. We had to unplug our bedside lamp from the wall in order to plug in my CPAP and my wife's phone charger. There is no clock of any sort in the room, not even on a microwave, since there's no microwave. There is no phone. On the plus side, the fridge is large and there's very ample counter space in the bathroom -- but why would the bathroom sink faucet be set to spray? All in all, we'd stay there again, but we'd bring a couple of extension cords and a clock with a lighted dial.

The room had a few issues. The door lock didn't unlock all the way. Mechanical issues with the latch. Air filter on AC/Heater was dirty. One of the lights had an issue with the knob. We only stayed one night, so we dealt with the issues. Breakfast was good with sausage and pancakes. Had to wait for a table to open. Not enough tables. The pool is a good size and the hot tub was nice and hot too. Clean towels waiting for you at the entrance.

Rooms where nice and clean, view was great, service was excellent and staff was friendly. The resturaunt - food was delicious and service was quick, staff friendly. However, there is very little parking. It does look like they are planning to expand parking lot but if your hauling a trailer (like we were) I would call ahead. We almost didn't have a place to park. Overall our stay was pleasant and we would absolutely return.

Coming from very far out of town, we were expecting a rinky-dink small town hotel. But, oh boy, were we VERY PLEASANTLY SUPRISED! Tim worked the front desk during our check in and check out and he was THE most helpful hotel clerk I think I've ever had! The rooms were spotless (Bravo cleaning crew), breakfast was a real treat (Bravo breakfast lady), and the entirety of the whole space just, wow. 100/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For the prices in the winter, I would expect a good room. It was NOT. Beds are not really queen sized, they are very uncomfortable and there wasn’t even a bed spread or comforter. There was a sheet, a very uncomfortable waffle knit blanket and then another sheet! It’s the UP and COLD! There were holes in the room patched haphazardly and it was dusty and not well cleaned.HOWEVER-the folks running the place couldn’t have been nicer, decent breakfast with a sweet attendant. The front desk clerk took care of our issues and was super friendly!Good food at the restaurant on property as well.

We LOVE this place. The lobby is clean and inviting. We always try and get the lakeside view, if possible. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to make your stay great. The list goes on and on. We call the Magnuson Grand Lakefront our WINTER WONDERLAND. We will be back, AGAIN.

We stayed at this hotel for the first time this week and it was great. The hotel and room was very clean. The balcony with the view of the lake was very nice and spacious. The staff was very nice and helpful. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.Rooms: Very clean and large. Tons of room and surfaces to set items and also had a living room.Nearby activities: Fairly close to Tahquamenon Falls, very convenient.

This hotel is a gem. We loved our stay and are looking forward to planning another one so we can spend more time. The lake is right behind it, with steps to a small beach and even down in to the lake so you can enjoy some splashes without fully submerging. Front desk staff (Tim) was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the area. The room was comfortable and clean. We slept to the sounds of the lake and woke up to watch the sunrise. Cannot recommend this location enough!

We had an awesome stay. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. I have to give a shout out to the guy behind the front desk during the day. Sorry I don't remember your name but you were very very helpful with all the questions that we had about the area. Rooms were very clean and The View in the morning is absolutely phenomenal. In the morning there is a complimentary breakfast and they have this really awesome pancake making machine . Unfortunately on our last day they were all out of pancake batter which was a real disappointment for me personally but I'm sort of a geek lol. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Rooms were very clean and surprisingly large compared to similar big chain hotels. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and the lady who was running it was awesome. The pool was clean and a nice treat. The view on the lakeside of the build was fantastic. If you stay here, I recommend getting a room with a view, we did not and it was something we missed out on. You can still go outside and look or go the lobby. Overall I was very pleased with our stay. My only negative feedback was that there was almost zero consideration for COVID while we were there but that seemed to be something throughout that area so I guess it was "normal" for them. One thing to remember if staying here, there's not much else in town in terms of dining so plan accordingly. Paradise is extremely small and sparsely populated.

The room walls had black scuff mark on the wall. And the wall paper was starting to curl. The backside by the water was all tore up and showing insulation. And all around there were spots to sit except where you "could" smoke. This probably wouldn't have been an issue at under 100.00 room rental but it was over 250.00 ..However the waterside view was amazing!!

I was excited to stay in this hotel based on reviews and it did not disappoint. We stayed three days.. Hotel was so clean we felt happy. Everyone was pleasant, large lobby, lots of tables for breakfast. Free breakfast included pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages, fresh citrus fruits, bagels, toast, donuts, cereal, yogurt, syrup, cream cheese, jelly, coffee, orange juice, tea. They have a pool and hot tub. We didn't get a room with a view, but as I was walking down hallways, I could see housekeepers cleaning rooms with views and they had balconies and sliding doors with chairs outside. Looked lovely. Would highly recommend.
