I shop here every couple weeks. Definitely convenient for closer than driving all the way East of town. They have great produce and I use the App to get coupons. Their yes card plus coupons plus Wednesday senior discounts all help the bottom line. They don't always have the brands but they almost always have what I need.

If a store is going to offer lower prices with a card. The cashier should have a card available or use a store card. The extra cost shouldn't be required. I will avoid these stores and I'm happy there are none in my area.

WATCH YOUR RECEIPTS...Everytime we go into this store we have problems with there scanners not ringing up sale prices. The people are always real friendly and willing to help get it straightened out but they really need to work on this as I'm sure there are many people that don't even check. And then today we were there and when the cashier scanned my key tag it actually scanned a Carmel apple on the counter that we did not want and did not receive. It was just there trying to get people to buy them. We did not notice until we returned home.

I do work here but have been shopping here since I was a kid so my review is based on 34 years of shopping here not my 3 weeks of working here. The deli and bakery are both delicious! The bakery has the best donuts and cakes around. Anyone who has been to Vg's knows we make amazing cheeseballs and fresh made pastas, salads and subs. The staff is friendly and they have good weekly specials!

They have a nice hot/cold bar. The lady's back there are nice and answer my questions. They have lots of options the bigger stores don't have. They make great donuts. They tend to be a little pricey, but if you just want things from their deli/bakery it is worth it. I

I ordered a 6 foot sub from the deli for a work lunch. The sub was delicious!! They had it cut up into single size servings, with lettuce, tomato, mayo and peppers on the side. Everyone loved it!! Thank you VG's deli for making our lunch a success!!!

So disappointed in this store. Nothing but misleading information on Thanksgiving meal. Store manager is very condescending! I'm from Owosso and never been treated this way before in this store!

This place is very convenient. Small store, you should be able to find what you need and it has a good selection of beers and meats. Get here early in the AM to get a chance to get some of the most amazing doughnuts - they are so good!! The only downfall is it's a bit pricey here.

Nice local hometown supermarket. Clean facility, good selection of inventory, helpful staff, great meat department. The only disappointment comes from the produce department, It's often not very fresh and it's overpriced.

Expired food on the shelf, plus slow and unfriendly workers. Just generally a bad atmosphere.Edit: do not use their pharmacy. The only reason to step food in this store are the donuts in bakery section.

Some of the prices are elevated compared to some of the competition but I like the store for the more relaxed atmosphere. Places like Walmart are always jammed but VG's is usually on the quieter side and I can appreciate that.Also, the few items I have had from their bakery have been superb.

Very clean and well stocked almost all of the time, even Sunday evenings when they've been busy all weekend. Their meat quality is great. Since Spartan took over they did discontinue a lot of items that we used to get there exclusively. We still do a majority of our shopping there though for the above mentioned reasons.

Great selection of meat, produce and their deli is amazing. If you can catch some of their sales, you can get really good deals. Very clean and organized, and their carts offer a aisle "cheat sheet" for items you may be looking for, which is a really great way to make your shopping trip faster.
