Marc and Brandon were amazing help when I came to the store to get some guinea pigs! They had a great professional attitude and a constant smile on their face,,,and that’s very rare to come by these days so it was refreshing to see. They take great care of their animals and have a decently clean store! Highly recommend this place :)

I went there for some cat litter and dog food and the employee's were beyond helpful and courteous. Even offered to help me get the bags in my car since they were so heavy, if every store had employees like them it would be amazing i have never been treated so well by a employee in a store . Im assuming he is a manager at night I will definitely be going back to Magoos from now on for all my pet supplies amd no where else! Thank you for having such a great employee and amazing service.

I want to scream a huge shout out to Mark in owosso!!! I called twice today with concerns for my puppy and he was so polite both times and when I went in there he was great! He showed me the cheapest route and the best route of course I chose the best but he was an all around great person to help me the way he did! I stop in once or twice a month for dog food and frozen mice. I love shopping here! The place is always clean, the staff are super friendly, and its always fun to see what animals they have available. Also, the animals all look well taken care of, healthy with clean tanks/cages and fresh food and water.

So much great stuff. You can always find a decent deal on pet food and I never leave without getting my pup a toy or new outfit. Staff is super friendly and helpful from the time you walk in. Def a frequent stop for any of my pets needs.

Always friendly and purchase points actually help and work! The employees have a lot of knowledge on the animals, fish and lizards, I take my kids here almost every time I come here, and they actually learn something new everytime. Never have any issues with the insects I need!

would give zero if I couldThere's bettas inside small trays of dirty water, rabbits in too small of a cage.Was told a Pleco could be put in a ten gallon tank. The kind we were sold needs over A HUNDRED GALLONS. Educate your employees or don't sell the animal. It died from stress because we didn't have heated water or hides (things a Pleco needs) and we couldn't get a refund, could only trade it for another Pleco. If I couldn't keep the first one properly why would I want another??

The fat lady in there with glasses was disrespectful I fell like it was bc I was a guy she acted like I didn’t no anything and I had no say that matters to her I will never go back there again they have more dead pets then they do live and if they are alive then poor animal is all I have to say they don’t get any care or love

I have bought many animals from here. I just bought two baby rats for myself and they are super sick, I got them two days ago and noticed it yesterday. I bought a guinea pig that we were told was a male and it ended up having babies. I bought a rabbit again told it was male, housed with "Males" and it ended up being female as well.Maybe a great place for products. Not a great place for animals.

I have no idea how you have five stars but hey, I’m glad there aren’t many of us complainers because I truly don’t want to see anyone go out of business. Having said that I’ve been in your store daily for last 7 days, I adopted a dog, and your associates have little knowledge of animal products and after today’s incident I don’t think I’ll be back.Customer service should really be the most important part of any business and especially now with online shopping. It’s too easy to shop elsewhere.We are in a tiny town. It doesn’t take much to familiarize oneself with returning customers and treat them so well they never want to spend their money elsewhere.

Would give 10 stars if I could.Over the last year I’ve bought easily 30+ animals here, ranging from tarantulas, to Savannah monitor, and even a few Halloween crabs.And not once, have I received an ill animal or an animal not in amazing Heath.Employees are awesome, always great to stand around and chat with them when I’m in.Not to mention if they don’t carry a product/animal you’re looking for 95% of the time they can order it for you!Stop in and check this place out, you won’t be disappointed.

For the three years I've been going here I haven't once had a bad experience. As a normal I am greeted by good people there that always help and or just to talk to. Although staffing everywhere is bad I still have yet to meet a bad employee at this store. I have a ball python and a cat that have all there needs here at this store and for a good price. Can't ask for much more

Got a coupon from Shiawassee Humane Society for free 5lb cat food when we adopted our cat yesterday. Coupon didn’t say that we needed to bring our adoption paperwork to redeem the coupon. They refused to allow the coupon without adoption paperwork. We live 30 minutes away so was not able to go get the paperwork really quick. How do you think we got the coupon anyway? Said we would go without the food, no problem, we will just buy the rest of the item we had. When we were done checking out we both said thank you and the cashier didn’t respond besides handing us back our coupon. Don’t expect good customer service here.

I went in today after 3 months of not going in. This place has gone down hill. Their turtle tank is absolutely fowel. The chameleons are not being taken care of properly, one of the Jacksons is severely underweight. Their crab tank had a small ammout of water in it. Both of the employees were standing around. I will not be back. The treatment of your instore animals should be your highest priorities. Not going outside to hit your vape pens.

I worked full time for a very short time with this company. I was quickly promoted to manager but without proper compensation. Magoos in Owosso is a great local pet store to shop at but I would not reccomend employment within this company.

All animals are healthy and super friendly towards humans. Much more than petco/petsmart.Employees are friendly and helpful. They have a wide verity of pet products and theres hardly anything you CANT find.Not only that but the place is usually tidy and well stocked!
