It has a lot of expired food as far as sell by dates .But the food is still good most the time I don't buy my meats in the outdated area that's what they call the section that that has the outdated stuff .I do no people has taken back stuff that was bad and got their money back as long as the have a legitimate reason .

This place is just as awful as most of the employees. They are rude and very incompetent for even grocery store workers. Do not recommend. Drive in any other direction and you'll find a much better grocery store.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Highly suggest spending your hard earned money elsewhere. The staff is rude and not helpful, and the store is dirty and not maintained well. I live less than a minute away from this store and would rather drive another 15 miles to be treated better.

Went to buy pallets and manager said 1.50 a piece went in there and they were trying to charge $2 and trying to call the cops because I spoke with a manger in a higher position told me that price. Sorry a manager higher than you said $1.50. Not my problem

I am a merchandiser for Dr. Pepper. I got yelled at by one of the workers for walking into the back so I could begin working the Dr. Pepper backstock. Totally unprofessional staff, nothing but hostile workers there.

This store has good low prices. You do need to check the meats and produce, but they have a pretty good selection.As far as their values section they take all the foods that are about to expire or expired from other stores that aren't willing to sell them and sell them for extremely low prices. I haven't bought any fresh stuff from this section, but many canned and some bottled goods.Studies have shown that as long as the integrity of the can is still good the food is perfectly safe to eat. It just slowly losses it's flavor over time. It reality this is a great practice for them to do. In America we throw away exorbitant amounts of food. By selling what other stores aren't willing to because of a date they are keeping lots more food from ending up in our landfills.

The store was nice and employees. I use a breading called Chicken Crack that you can only find in certain stores through out Michigan. It’s amazing if you’ve never tried it! So I got online and Denny’s pops up as a store that carries it. Wasted an hour of driving for 1 item smh! Denny needs to remove their name or the chicken crack does. Besides that it’s a very clean store, employees are amazing, and a great place to shop. 2 stars for misinforming people that’s supposed to be there. Besides that it would’ve been a solid 5!

They're just something about this store that always seems dirty. They're frozen food section had 2 items of Morning Star Farms. 2! No Boca Burgers or burgers of any kind. If you're a vegetarian do not go there. I thought I'd give it a try since it had been years. Sorry I did!

TODAY I GOT 2 JARS OF PICKLES. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE I OPENED THE JAR AND THERE WAS MOLD IN WITH THE PICKLES. IM DISGUSTED. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW A STORE CAN SELL ITEMS LIKE THIS AND NOT MARK THAT IT IS EXPIRED. WILL NOT BE SHOPPING THERE AGAIN.

When I was checking out the cashier didn’t say one word to me. Not hello, goodbye, not even our price. She had a very rude attitude. We got everything we needed though so that is a plus at least.

I like the New Store and I am so glad that our store is back in Otisville. We sure missed it. I have never gotten sick from anything I have bought at the store so I don't know what other people are talking about. As long as you check the outdates you should be fine. If you dont want to buy something that is outdated then don't. Some people cannot afford to but full price products and id they are still okay and sealed then most of the time its okay. If it's not good when you open it then take it back for a full refund im sure.. As far as the store playing christian music, Keep doing it... There is nohing wrong with playing music that is not gonna swear and is a positive listening station. If that person don't like it maybe they should take thier business elsewhere. We dont need people like that anyways that are natural born complainers. I enjoy the New store and think Denny Jr is doing a fine job. Keep up the good work Denny!!

I love this store , yes you must be responsible and check the value zone stuff but the prices alone slow my family to be able to afford groceries , all of the comment about shopping here contunuously , and having problems ,,, well if your stupid enough to go back you deserve it. The staff has alway been friendly and the deals are amazing ,

Don't know where all these people that say Dennys has low prices shopped before, EVERYTHING is overpriced except value zone. The meat and vegetables have to be used IMMEADIATLY or it's spoiled. If you use WIC or food stamps watch your receipts CAREFULLY they have a scam for taking more than they should.

Dennys is over priced. Cant get folgers columbian coffee under ten bucks. $$ store same coffee $7 krogers every dsy price $6 and change. Not consistant with products he sells. Pricey chicken half froze half thawed. Due dates on milk usually not more then a week and half. He has grapes right now very exspensive no taste at all. Try them Denny go ahead try those grapes you have. The one thing i do like is he makes small pkgs of meat for people who live alone.

Watch what you buy here. Almost everything they sell is expired or close to it. Not very good fresh fruits or vegetables. I try not to shop there for food items.
