If I could give a zero I totally would! I have never written a review in my life but Rite Aid Pharmacy should be so ashamed of how they run that circus. I have been with Rite Aid pharmacy for at least 20 years now. As long as you don't have routine meds with them you're fine. Otherwise it's a total joke! Dont get me wrong, there are a few workers that are beyond sweet. They are always under staffed and I am so patient with that and know that is out of their control. Everytime I am there it's at least a half hour wait whether I go inside or drive thru and by the time I get my turn my meds are never ready even though I gave a couple days before picking them up. I witness every customer in front and behind me always very angry with this pharmacy. And I have even stood up for the pharmacy when customers have been rude to them! Lately the pharmacists there are so rude and treat me like I'm an idiot! They never have the meds I need and I'm always going without for days. Even when I call ahead to give them time to order to avoid that from happening. Month after month it's always some issue and my doctor has even had to call them herself to fix several of their mistakes. This month they filled my same medicine twice but due to my husband picking it up for me I wasn't aware until they were closed. I was told I could bring it back and when I did they were very rude about it and asked me what my problem was. I told them you filled the same medicine within 24 hours. He informed me that they aren't supposed to give refunds and I told him that he isn't supposed to fill my medicine twice within the same week!!! And that it wasn't my fault or problem. And how my insurance approved it is beyond me! I literally dread every month getting my meds refilled and gives me total anxiety because there is always a problem every time. They treat me like I'm stupid when I try to explain what the problem is and like I'm some kind of loser on meds. I have always been so sweet and understanding with all of it but the rudeness is mind boggling and I just can't deal with that ignorance any longer. If you hate your job that much maybe its time for a career change but i won't stick around any longer......Gilberts here I come!!!! ✌️

I made a 10am appointment for immunizations. Filled out all appropriate forms online.I arrived 10 minutes early and then waited and waited and waited while others walked up or drove up and received service. Finally, at 10:35 the pharmacist walked out and stated my insurance wouldn't go through and had no time to call the insurance. This is par for the course with this pharmacy. Go there for other things but go elsewhere for your prescription medications. The pharmacy is understaffed, but it's been understaffed for least a year that I'm aware. Bad, bad service from the pharmacy.

Out of most anything, shelves are stocked forward with one or two of the items.This is a sign of a very tightly run business, the staff doesn’t know what the have and could care less.But it’s clean and there’s plenty of parking with easy access to the store. So as long as it’s still here and they have what you need ?The prices are retail plus except for the “sale leaders”

Worse pharmacy I've ever been with. . Out of my meds all the time and they are very common. Pharmacy does not pickup phone ive called every 20 minutes for an hour at a time . when in line picking up meds at store you hear phone ringing and they ignore it. Pharmacy tech suggested I go to another store corporate limits quantities they can order. Switching toGilberts I advise all to do so. 2 yrs later March 2024 and still same thing. happening.

Under staffed so pharmacy is slow at filling prescription. Can't call to see if the prescription is ready because they don't answer the phone. Drive through takes longer than going inside.

pharmacy never answers the phone, no matter when I call. It is very annoying and my prescriptions are not being refilled in a timely manner.

Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere to get your RX refills. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. They do not answer the phone. I have called today no less than 50 times and they will not pick up the phone. If you are lucky enough to actually get through to someone and order a refill, don't show up when they tell you it will be ready. Give it another 3-4 days because they have never, ever had my RX ready when they say they will. I'd say call first to check, but again, they won't answer the phone. I would give this store negative stars if I could. I have reached my breaking point with this place and will not be returning.

Great service, clean store with good variety. Friendly pharmacist was well informed about a complicated perscription we called in from out of town. Needed a tetanus shot after a rusty nail incident, was handled promptly with just a single paper to fill out

If I could give the pharmacist today -10 stars I would. I have covid and after having my scripts sent there he called and was not going to fill them because they do not accept my insurance. Which Is fine. I called the hospital back and upon learning that he needed to speak to the provider I called right aid back and he not only told me the hospital is illiterate and didnt understand the process that basically so was I and then he hung up on me!!!! YOU SIR DO NOT DESERVE A JOB OR CAREER IN PATIENT HEALTH, HELP OR CARE. and because of you its posiible I will not receive the medications that I NEED! I will nevernuse that rite aid again

If ZERO was an option, thats exactly what they would be getting. This pharmacy is HORRIBLE. Avoid at all costs. I live in the Metro Detroit area, my father is from the Oscoda area. I called WRONG AID to have some of his prescriptions transferred up there for him, as he is well enough to be home now. I was told by a pharmacy associate 2 days ago that the current pharmacy we use would be contacted and the RXs would be transferred to the Oscoda store, and once everything was transferred, I would receive a phone call letting me know it was complete... fast forward 2 days, I still have not received a phone call. I called the pharmacy literally FIVE times today between 11am and 4pm, not once was the phone answered. Each call rang and rang and then bounced back to the automated system, where I once again hit 3 to speak to the pharmacy and the call was still ignored. Finally I called the main store, and spoke to someone who said they would page the pharmacy overhead for the call... 5 min later, still no pick up. I called the main number back and got another associate in Photo who put me on hold, went back to the pharmacy to tell them they had a call on hold. He came back on the line to tell me they would be with me, and then another 10 min on hold, still noone picked up. So I decided to call CVS where the RXs currently are to see if WRONG Aid had even contacted them to do the transfer and they said no. I am beyond frustrated right now. Completely ridiculous. Seems to me after reading other reviews on here that WRONG AID needs to REVIEW THEIR ASSOCIATES and get better ones in there. I'm aware that places get busy and some are short staffed, but to literally ignore phone calls and other associates about phone calls?! Some of these RXs are extremely important to keep my father well, and he needs them, as well as I'm sure MANY other customers. Gilberts is right down the road, we will be giving them our business. I have already called them and the Pharmacist answered and was extremely kind and helpful! Hopefully this post is helpful to others... seriously, go elsewhere. This WRONG AID is the pits.

Absolutely absurd how much time is wasted trying to reach the pharmacy on the phone. On average it takes over 20 calls to reach someone as nobody ever answers the phone.

If 0 was an option. We had a covid test appointment at 515. Got there 15 minutes early like they requested. At 630 we left with no test. We had 3 cars in front of us at that point when we drove off. It was taking then 25-30 minutes a car. We tried calling riteaid only to be put on hold twice. 1st time they hung up on us. 2nd time we were told be a brief hold. Was on hold for 15 minutes. I'm not sure what's rite aid definition of brief is. Go to Walgreens. In and out.

Prescriptions not ready AGAIN, 72 hours for one, 24 hours for the other and they still aren’t ready and said tomorrow.If you can get to Gilbert’s I’d skip RiteAid altogether.Do not recommend.

Called to get s flu shot for my mom who is 91 years old they told they had it. Drove over to her house got her took 20 minutes .Got to the store and was told we don't have any .We wasted a trip for nothing . The last time in your store . The person on the phone not very nice either .

Idk what else to rate, I called and selected the option to speak with a pharmacist. After someone answer she told I was being transferred to the pharmacist 🙄 I was on the phone for 2 hours waiting and no one ever answered! I had to hang up and move on…

I was with my mother here while we were both picking up stomach relief medication. I am kind of discouraged that the medicine Rite Aid brands contains artifical colors, as I feel that this hampers recovery efforts for people needing them.But before I get off topic, let me talk about the store itself. There are many products bearing both the Rite Aid name and also other names like Black & Decker. A bevy of problems exist within the store; dust on many products, stained ceilings from water damage, scuffed floors, and an obstructed fire exit in the back. As for the cashiers, they are both friendly and we experienced no problems with the check-out procedure. But my biggest advice that I could give to this Rite Aid is to give it some updating and a little cleaning as well.

This is nothing against the workers but they need to figure out how they can do something about people making appointments for the covid vaccine but neither are available. It's a waste of time for people that are making appointments. Nothing against any of you but someone should contact people with appointments to tell them you are out of the vaccine

Expensive!! Avoid if at all possible, they are out for a steep profit! Went here to print pictures. Not only were they twice as expensive as other printing kiosks, they took an extra hour to print and all were pixelated. Then when I tried to return they stood there and counted each print as my baby screamed...just not interested in customer service. I went back to pick up baby vitamins and they are charging almost $12 for the same bottle sold for $8 everywhere else...and they don't price match! Ridiculous...time to join the 21st century. Get a new photo machine and price match!

Been going to this store since it was opened. Big turn around in pharmacist.They jacked me around with my perception for the last time. I'll use Gilbert's or Kmart pharmacy in the future.
