Trash wasn’t picked up. Didn’t know why. I checked the WM app and it said “no alerts” Called the WM 800 number, automated message said it was picked up on 1/31 (it wasn’t) waited for an hour on hold and gave up. Finally went down to the office in Greenland, and I was told trucks can’t drive on the roads due to road commissioner stopping them. What would have been nice is someone to tell me via the worthless app or an email but instead they just don’t say anything. I guarantee you nobody will be given a break on their next bill over this. Paying for a service and not getting it with no communication as to why. Meanwhile the trash keeps piling up!

Waste Management has put out a survey and asked us to follow up with a Google review in an area where they are a monopoly, have discontinued garbage service due to road restrictions, which has never happened in the 20 years we have had garbage service, they did not do their last pickup so many of us have full containers. I am a business with restaurant garbage, I am not taking my garbage in to town to a pick up location. I am not getting in to a dumpster that was switched out that my staff can barely lift the lids due to weight, angle and height of the container. I am not going to assist a company that makes millions because they just sponsored the Phoenix Open and do my job. I will not assist a company that bills me for a service that affects the health and safety of the public. I will not assist a company that bills me for service and doesn't provide or correct an error even though they say they will (yes, you missed a pickup in the fall and the csr says, yes, we'll credit you....hahaha, the truck was broke down and no credit was made.) They charge diff rates for same size dumpsters!They are getting away with this way of doing business! Absolutely, 100% if you have another choice of garbage service, use them!With the exception of our wonderful driver, they are not a company to do business with.

Trash collection: excellent. Customer outreach: one-size-fits-all, with the usual voicemail hell when you phone the company. I had my service suspended because I owed a $21 late fee I didn't know I owed, because the service was in my late wife's name, and I never got a bill--the bill was going to my late wife's email, which I don't check. I got a voicemail phone call from the company and paid my bill, but the company never told me about the late fee...until one day the guys didn't collect my trash. The company did get its act together and stop billing a DEAD PERSON, so all is well now.

Edit October 20, 2023Editing my prior review because the customer from K&W Landfill WM has been outstanding on multiple occasions now. Adding 4 stars back 😊Started service almost two weeks ago, still haven't had my bin delivered, or been told if need to provide my own? Perhaps I should look into alternatives to WM.

We have been storing an extra dumpster on our property for over a year! It was originally supposed to be for a new truck that apparently never arrived!! Not only is the dumpster full from strangers dumping in it, IT IS IN THE WAY!! I’m about to call the police and make trespassing complaint!

This company is a colossal scam. They charge for services and don’t provide the service agreed upon. Then they lie and change their story time and again.

After multiple confirmations and conversations with onboarding and regional manager, they never delivered a dumpster. Now they're billing me for a service they won't provide.Customer support is a joke. It takes days to get an email answered.Happy to revisit this review WHEN THEY BRING MY DUMPSTER.

I had a billing issue and called customer service. They went above and beyond to fix my billing issue and saved me money also. They transferred me to someone that was a pleasure to speak to and solved my issues. I highly recommend WM.

Largest waste company in the US? As experts in garbage, you should recognize garbage when its your business. In business since 1968 and still using call waiting... Hey Waste Mangegemnt, how about adding call back service instead of waiting +30 minutes and still waiting...Just spoke to a representative who was very professional and courteous. I commend her as she has to deal with frustrated customers. Waste Management; help your image and your representatives and add call back services.

Very pleased with the Waste Management driver on Norwich Rd Ontonagon. Best service I've ever had, very safe and respectful to his clients and the traffic around him.

Our Refuse Collection Engineer is the best. He ALWAYS replaces the lids on our cans, and if we are home, he waves. How nice is that!
