While the store is always clean the prices are pretty outrageous. A bottle of ketchup was 7.99 that I can get for 3 dollars cheaper at walmart. I feel.like they could do better price wise even for being local. The staff are always friendly and checking out is convenient. You can also bring your pop cans to be recycled.

The only grocery store in town! The selections are adequate but I wish there were more organic and local options. The staff are friendly and helpful!

It's a perfectly fine grocery store for a small town. Sure, you're not going to get a lot of specialty foods here, but what they've got is usually fairly priced. Obviously big box stores will have lower prices, as will discount shops that often have worse service. I've never had a problem here and almost always stop by when I'm adventuring in the area. Gotta stock up before heading out in the wilds!

Prices are extremely high on everything. Going to Walmart in Houghton or Ironwood may be a bit out of the way but in the end you would save so much more. When we stopped by the employee running the register was very nice and chatty and I don't get that alot at grocery stores in Atlanta. TRY DOLLAR GENERAL PRICES ARE GREAT AND EMPLOYEES ARE AMAZING AND HELPFUL.

They have a better selection than I expected. Some things are priced competitively compared to other grocery stores. Some things are painfully high. Some of the frozen food prices were laughable as were some snack prices. The alcohol selection and prices are actually quite good. I couldn’t believe how much booze they have.

An average grocery store. Very low supply of food for dietary allergies. Organic veggies not in stock. Picked up 2 items although other things were needed. Recommend stocking up on essentials and food before you hit this town.

This store is EXTREMELY overpriced. Unfortunately people have to pay the prices because the next grocery store is far away. Ridiculous. One example here is they are selling a small pack of bacon for $11, when at Walmart the Mega Pack is only $9. Everything here is overpriced. To the owner, you should be absolutely ashamed of yourself for doing this to the people in this town. They are struggling enough as it is. Respectfully, go screw yourself.

Lots of variety of grocery items for a rural small town grocery store. Prices for most things compared to big city IGA, for some like bakery a little more. I got what I needed. Too I believe it's the only grocery store for a 50 mile radius.

I support Pat's as, not only a locally-owned grocery store chain, but also as the only grocery store option in Ontonagon. They seem to have a wide variety of niche items that you could need in a pinch, such as sesame oil, bamboo shoots, and calrose rice (I cook a lot of Asian food), as well as deli meats, cheeses, and sides (although those can be tricky to find of you don't know where to look). In the past they've had a terrible manager that was a major jerk to the employees and couldn't seem to keep the place staffed (treat your employees like trash and nobody wants to work there, what a concept), but he has since been replaced and they're doing much better at hiring and retaining good staff that are friendly, helpful, and actually want to work. The only drawback really is the price of some of their items, which seem to be way out there. It seems like they're trying to take advantage of the tourism/camping crowd that this area draws year-round, which really hurts the locals and those without the ability to do their shopping elsewhere, such as Houghton. With that being said, they do seem to have decent sales on a regular basis, so sometimes if you're on a budget or looking to save a few bucks, you can still find options that are affordable.

Clean and well stocked local grocery store. Some items can be expensive but no more than what you’d typically find in a small town, however the do have frequent sales where you can find some really good deals.

Always stop to shop here when we camp at the Ontonagon Township Park. Love their meat department and the overall layout the store. Staff is has always been friendly and helpful these past fifteen plus years that we have shopped here. Keep up the great work!

Small but very well stocked food store. All the produce, meats, dairy, and other items are fresh and ready for you. The employees go out of their way to help you too. I will most definitely be back for future visits. Thank you everyone that works here for having such a nice place to shop.

Experience was expensive items and not really sale items. Two carts of expired foods at the entrance.

Prices not high at all considering overall increases recently due to inflation/supply chain. Many good brands available, "very clean" store.I feel that other unfavorable posts have not been fair to this operation of great importance in this area.

The store hours have changed they posted it on the door but online it says 8. Gotta change it was extremely upset when I went to go shopping I couldn't cause of the hours being changed when online it says eight. Also the prices are way to high I would think for locals they would be a little more generous about the pricing. I'm better off going to Houghton or ironwood to go shopping.

We stopped here for groceries on the way to camping in Porcupine Mtns. The store had so many options for food, and lots of great deals! (3 boxes of mac n cheese for 99c!) The person we met with at the register was very kind, and you could hear all the employees chatting and joking with each other & the customers. Reasonably priced, as well!

The store is very clean and well laid out, and the staff is extremely helpful. Now with the addition of self check out the check out experience moves a little more quickly. The store is a bit more expensive than a bigger store but, it is nice to be able to find things close to home.

My family and I were visiting from the lower peninsula. We were greeted by a wonderful, friendly staff. You had everything we needed, store well stocked. When we come up again, we are definitely coming back to your store. Thank you for a great shopping experience!

The employees are very friendly and helpful, but prices of some of the groceries are too much. If getting alot of groceries, it's almost better to make the 40 minute trip out of town to a Walmart to save money

This place is bleeding locals and tourists alike dry, all for produce that rots in the car before you get it home. Prices are astronomical and the quality of anything “fresh” is bottom of the barrel.

It is normally a in and out experience. I am not that happy with the self-checkout but if you are handicapped in a wheelchair one of the clerks will most definitely help you get your items scanned and back in your carry-all bag very nice staff I only wish we had more choices for General grocery store shopping in this area

The self checkout lanes recently installed do not get used by customers which causes a backup of the one checkout that is being staffed. Kudos for trying to keep up with the Walton's but it doesn't work in our small town.

The prices are outrageous. The price of one dozen carton of eggs is $5.39, when it is $2.49 a carton at any KwikTrip. A pack of Johnsonville brats is $17.67 for like 8 brats. I wouldn't recommend shopping here regularly.

Got the seafood salad at the Ontonagon store. It was extraordinary. Unfortunately, we were unable to find it again though we also tried Hancock and L'Anse. The L'Anse store did have Ocean Spray Diet Cran-Lemonade that I haven't been able to find anywhere else, including Amazon.
