Ad lib is a great new addition to Onsted. All the employees are so nice and the coffee & custard are great. The bourbon vanilla latte is delicious and so are the flurries. The atmosphere is chill and relaxed, perfect for a low-key study session or catching up with friends. They have inside seating, outdoor tables, and a drive-through if you're in a hurry. Friendly, small-town vibe and great coffee - the perfect combination!

Return visit while out on a motorcycle ride. Cute little place off the beaten path. Small, clean. Good coffee and tea. Friendly staff but fairly slow. Clean bathrooms.

Delicious coffee and non conventional coffee flavors with pretty reasonable prices for a coffee shop. They were amazingly fast when we brought a group of 7 and very polite and happy to talk.

Ad Lib used to have my FAVORITE latte. The bourbon vanilla was to die for. I drive out a couple times a week as my special treat to myself. Now it’s just another Musgrove. Musgrove coffee is fine, but it will never replace the lattes they used to have and isn’t worth the extra driving for me. There’s already 2 other Musgroves in the area so why bother.

Had a great opportunity to visit this great coffee location. While there I was met with a great welcoming smile and service. Great tunes playing in the background. The coffee was great the turkey and Havarti bagel sandwich was really yummy and conversation was very warm and welcoming. If in the area I encourage you to take a moment and stop by you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for the great service.

Love It!! A great place to meet friends or to just come in and relax for a bit, with a great cup of coffee and a sandwich.! Everything is very reasonably priced! I love the ice cream, and the lemon is my absolute favorite. Ad-Lib is always neat and clean, and has a great vibe! Everyone that works there is friendly and accomodating. There is plenty of parking available. There is also a very convenient drive thru, if you are in a hurry! And, I always leave with a smile on my face!

The BEST latte I've ever had, and I've traveled all over Europe! The beans and ingredients they use are top quality, and you can taste that difference in everything from their coffee to the custard. A gem in the Irish Hills! Highly recommend.

Good coffee, good location, very impressed with them being open Sunday at 4 or 5.My only complaint is i wish they were more creative with their drinks. We both got "Late with flavor", but i wish there were options such as they offer at the big box coffee places. Like i don't know what's in a butter bear from B!¿μy coffee, so i don't know how to order that kind of drink, so we just went with late with a pump of flavor and that was still good.

Worth going out of your way to come here. cute, quaint little rest for your longest (or shortest!) trip out. I wish i got pictures of the lobby for you all to see. If you’re like me and from out of town, you’ll enjoy stopping here and spending a minute to reset your bearings before you hit the road again. Best part - they have ice cream/soft serve! I wish I could’ve convinced my friend to let me grab a cone before we hit the road (too bad he’s driving and makes the rules)

ad-lib coffee & ice cream is a welcome addition to the small town of Onsted. As I sip my unique flavor of latte I can't help but compare it to a coffee that would be available in an urban area. It is EXCELLENT! Every time I get a coffee I am not disappointed. Thank you for opening up your delightful coffee shop in beautiful Onsted.

Drove out from Devils Lake for the first time today. The shop is very tidy and modern. The owner was super nice and knowledgeable. We got an americano, a dirty chai and a couple danishes. It was all awesome and more than worth the 25 minutes roundtrip from the lake. We’ll be back!

Cute little coffee/ice cream shop. Friendly service, and tasty coffee, with reasonable prices. There's a nice little covered picnic area by the parking lot and lots of space inside to sit as well.

Almost 5 dollars for a cup of coffee.. didn’t even taste it, as I wasn’t paying 5 dollars for a cup of joe. Lady was nice is why it has 2 opposed to 1 star. Stay away if you’re just looking for a cup of coffee..

I've only tried the Snickers Flurry but it was so good I order it every time! My daughter loved the Cookie Dough Flurry.
