This is the type of place where you walk into and everyone turns and stares at you. If you want a warm welcome from a friendly staff member, you won't get it here. Did my waitress know her job? Absolutely. Was she nice and helpful? Absolutely not.We came for the fish fry but did not see it advertised anywhere. We asked what brand root beer they had (my wife has a heart condition and cannot have caffeine, and certain brand of root beer have caffeine) and the waiteess seemed totally annoyed that we even asked a question. Said that it was "regular" root beer in a bag. Gee thanks for the help. She's the type of employee that has been at the job for so long that she doesn't have an ounce "customer service" left. Got the pretzel sticks just to make it seem like we wanted to be there but we honestly wanted to get out of there so fast. If you're a regular here then its probably great but don't recommend to outside people.

Food is always Great, they have a large variety of customers favorites, mine will always be the Gizzards or Chicken Strips. Bartenders are always on top of your needs, be it food or beverage. Average prices, but good portions. Specials are usually the best deal and worthy. If you want a friendly atmosphere with great food served by the best waitress/bartender, this may just be the place for you.Parking: Lots of space.Kid-friendliness: Kids are more than welcome, and treated as customers. Enter as a customer, and leave feeling like family.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel right in, most of the regular customers will even move a chair from the tables to help accommodate you,

BEST GIZZARDS EVER!!! I LOVE gizzards, and these were the BEST gizzards that I've EVER eaten!!! They were moist & OMG-tender... NOT at all chewy (even though I don't mind chewy cuz that's how my Daddy cooked them). I ordered these as appetizers to share while we waited for our entrées. I made "converts" of my two friends who shared this huge basketful of gizzards. We three could not eat all of them at "one sitting". The burgers were very good. The fries had a light tempura-like coating which re-heated well the next day. Our server, Jenny, was very good & knew her job well. Portions were good-sized, food was cooked properly, and prices were reasonable. The "local" diners were friendly. We'll definitely be going here again.Regarding wheelchair accessibility, the front entrance would be challenging for anyone in a wheelchair, unless there is an able-bodied companion who can open the doors. There is no wheelchair-accessible restroom. Both of the restrooms have a step up of approximately 5 inches to enter the room...the Women's restroom has 2 VERY small stalls. There are 2 handicap parking spaces at front of building. The limitations of the wheelchair accommodations are the reason for my giving only a 4-star instead of a 5-star rating.UPDATE (05/29/22): We enjoyed another fine meal here today. Chicken gizzards were perfect again ($6.50). I had a side salad that was large enough for two people to share ($4.00). FYI, they charge a usage fee of 3.75% when one pays with a credit card. This is still one of my favorite taverns.

Archey’s is a great bar, great food and owned by incredible people. We love, the wet burrito, taco Tuesday, Friday fish fry, Beep’s soups are out of this world and breakfast is wonderful. Besides all that though, Beep & Rachel are beautiful human beings so boogie on down to Archey’s, support a small business and make your tummy happy. Win-win.

If it is busy and you come in alone, you will have to wait. If you are not a regular customer, you will wait even longer. I left today after waiting for 1 hour to get my food. This was 4:50 PM until 5:50 PM, the dinner hour and there was 1 person on staff to serve the guests. I might go in there again for a beer but, I will never order food there. Good food. Bad management.

Very good bar food! If you like deep fried gizzards this is the place to go, they were lightly breaded so you get the gizzard taste. Burgers are good and so is the wet burrito. Short on help right now like every restaurant but they did a great job keeping up. I will definitely be revisiting.

Was passing through and was ready for a drink and bite to eat so we stopped in. Had one of the best bar burgers ever, huge amount of fries. Great stiff drink, staff was awesome! Just wish this place was in my back yard! Thanks Archey's for a GREAT experience!

I love it because we have been going there for years and we were able to get to know everybody there and everybody there knows us. My family went there to celebrate his birthday and there is this plate he likes. He likes the design on it. The waitress cones out with that plate and his birthday desserts and says "Here is your favorite plate with your birthday dessert." It was very nice to have that happen

The Garlic Parmesan Shrimp were so good we had to go back for them last night. The bartender came let me know they were out of the sauce. The owner overheard, told me he would run to his house where he had another container of it. Talk about great servic service!

The food is great, usually not too busy, great atmosphere, I would go there more often if it didn't take an hour to get food after placing order. In which it happens every time even if there are just a few people there.

First time here. It's a small place. But the food is good and the service is great. I'd definitely recommend trying it at least once. If you don't like it then at least you can say you tried. I'm definitely going back here. Keep up the good work!

We had the fish special on Friday night and the salad bar oh my God the homemade chicken noodle soup was fabulous. It reminds me of what my mom used to make the salad was great the fish was Cod it was so good I would definitely go back and have their fish special on Friday night again and I hope they have the chicken noodle soup on the salad bar again. Have not been there in a while. They used to have good food. Very disappointed. Will never go there again. Soggy ruben sandwich with meet so tough had to cut with steak knife. The marsh was truely a marsh with potatoes drowning in canned gravy. Soooo gross. Feel ripped off and disgusted.

Horrible place to get take out this is the 3rd time we have ordered from there and they have screwed up our order. My husband is allergic to cheese which they of course put on his burger. He took it back and explained that it was an allergy and they scrapped the cheese off and gave it back!!! We won't be eating here again!!!!!!

The food service is Horrible!On more than one occasion I have waited for over an hour for my food, and nearly the same for a beer..Some of the staff clearly lacks simple service industry skills.
