Fantastic little cafe with delicious frittatas, breakfast burritos, sandwiches, fresh bakery, and excellent espresso drinks & brewed coffee. I ordered the spinach, roasted red pepper, and feta frittata and it was very tasty. The blackberry crumble bar paired well with my mocha cappuccino! Adorable setting both indoor and outside. Highly recommend!!

Friendly staff, good food although they sell out of some items quickly on the weekends. The quaint little coffee shop worth the stop!

Great little spot to drop in for a quick bite and cup of coffee. We had a breakfast burrito, a breakfast sandwich, and a blueberry muffin, all of which were excellent.

Wonderful little coffee shop. She had coffee, tea, and 3 brands of flavored soda water, cookies, scones, bars. Several of her sweet treats were vegan. Her almond cookies were so delish!! Take your treats outside to sit in the garden. Superb, informed service.

A very lovely coffe shop featuring espresso based drinks, pastries and sandwiches. We enjoyed our latte and breakfast bagel sandwich. The shop is a short drive from Portage Point and many vacationers and locals were there during our visit. The shops decor is very nice and helps make it unique. If you are in Onekema or staying out at Portage Point this is the place to go for coffee, and breakfast.

Overpriced, the iced latte was just milk and coffee ice cubes served in hot to-go cups. Asked for drinks remade hot & owner was rude. Might want to consider using espresso in the iced lattes. Cute place, just super bummed with the $17 drinks. Also the "art" on the walls was mid and comically priced. The frittatas were good, so if you plan to eat- then by all means go there, but if you want good coffee go elsewhere.

Impeccable breakfast quiches and melt worthy breakfast sandwiches. Come here for brunch and you won’t regret it. Coffee is decent but worth “decent” for the breakfast bites!

5$ Cappuccino is simply the water and worst then ever. I am SHOCKED!!! COFFEE GOURMET stay AWAY.Alert! They dont care to serve in mugs for this overprice and they want tips - WHAT FOR?! For very badly doing their job - pouring miserable coffee?!Must change banner at the entrance for water house and better stay out of this responsible coffee business. Poor people who drink this fake.Still in shock! TERRIBLE TASTE. No beans, NO SERVICE. N OT H I N G

Was passing through from out of town. Employee was extremely nice. Ordered 2 hot vanilla lattes. Did not enjoy the flavor of this drink/coffee at all. Actually ended up not drinking them. However, lemon poppy seed bread was delicious and blueberry muffin was excellent as well. Had a good selection of baked breakfast treats, as well as quiche and various sandwiches. I would not order the coffee again, but would enjoy any of the baked goods.

The food and coffee are good. They use local milk which is a big plus. If I was basing my review on simply the quality of the food, it would be a five. However, the owner (who many other reviewers referred to as "the old lady with the gray bangs) is quite unfriendly. My family is from the area and we travel up there every summer to vacation. She was rather impatient when I was trying to decide what to order from the display case. When I politely asked about adding whipped cream or cocoa to my drink, she snapped that they "don't do specialty drinks". Which is fine, I simply asked. It may be that she finds vacationers a nuisance, as I saw her be quite hospitable to locals. Almost a completely different person, actually. Maybe vacationers are too picky or their standards are too high for her taste. Maybe my question struck a nerve with her; that I was being "too picky". However, the prices are comparable to places that do "DO specialty drinks". I'd argue that it's quite odd to be so pricey and yet not add a little something extra or simple as cocoa powder, for that matter. Ironically enough, I probably will go back there again. I don't care that the drinks aren't specialty. It's the only locally-owned coffee shop nearby and the best option when vacationing in the area. But better service from the owner would make coming back worthwhile.

Stopped in this Cafe for lunch. The wait staff was very rude. I selected a sandwich but changed my mind almost immediately. I ordered another sandwich and was told by the server I had to pay for the first sandwich I ordered. When I charged my mind server chuffed at me. We than asked for salt and pepper and server acted like we were imposing on her. We were the only people in the Cafe. Needless to say we will not be back, and yes we are both locals. It was not a good experience 😕.

Totally agree that it is a little overpriced but for breakfast, it is the best place. The food is delicious and the coffee is great. I got an iced latte and you can specify how you like your coffee. Definitely recommend for a nice treat once in a while.

Great atmosphere and service from the employees. Owner not so much. Breakfast burrito was good enough, coffee had the right flavor but on the weak side, definitely at the top of pick range for what's being offered. Wouldn't take much to make this place 5 stars, hope to try it again next season.

Worst coffee drink ever. Young lady was unfriendly. I wanted cafe au lait but the young lady could not sell that drink to me because she did not have a button on her computer. Just bad business practice. You could find a button close in price for a quick solution! Then I got outside with my latte and it was not even lukewarm. It pretty much tasted like milk. Where was the espresso? Just enough to change the color and no taste. We had one pastry and that was excellent. Our goal was a good coffee drink. We would never go back. Oh, also quite pricey for two bad drinks.

First visit was a 5. Cute little coffee shop with everything you would want. Great coffee & good food. Young man who served us was extremely nice.Liked it so much we went out of our way to come back the next day. Woman who helped us this time was not friendly & jacked us $6.36 for two medium self-service no frills coffee fills in our travel mugs. I'm not inclined to return no matter how quaint.

The food was excellent and the coffee was good. Very nice, quaint ambiance but there is limited indoor seating. It felt a tad like ‘central perk’ fromFriends…with many locals known on a first name basis…very nice

Coffee shop with delicious homemade baked goods and friendly service. I tried a homemade wild strawberry scone; Chris told me the wild strawberries were picked by the owner herself the day before. They had rice and almond milk available. Nice atmosphere.

Had an awesome turkey on flat bread along with a chia latte. The sandwich was so large, I split with my wife. The warm food and drink was really appreciated on a rainy and windy bike ride.

Most expensive latte I’ve ever had and with little flavor. We were on our way through and needed a pick me up and they could have done better. I love that they use fresh milk and the food looked great so maybe stick to the food.

I am not a coffee drinker but I have recommended this place to numerous people. Everyone has come back stating that sometimes the coffee is okay and sometimes the food is okay. But they all mention that the service is terrible. It is too bad that with a town that has very few places to eat etc. that we have to have a place where they are unwelcoming and rude to visitors or town people. If you don’t like people don’t own a coffee shop in a small town. Onekama can do better.

Cute place with good food. Unfortunately, they have one very rude employee. The woman with grey hair and bangs was short with me when I asked if there were sunflower seeds in the bread. I had to explain that I have food allergies before she would even tell me what is in their food! The blond woman wasquitw nice!

I wish I took pictures of the food, but even that won’t do their food justice. If you’re in town I highly recommend this establishment. ALL of the food is super fresh and handmade. There are too many good menu items to mention.
