Max was super kind with helping me with a project I was working on for work. I needed to cut wood down into 6x6 squares and he was more than willing to help me with that. He even looked in the discount wood section to see if there was any deals I could get! He was accommodating and very polite, and made sure I left with what I needed, he cut over over 42 squares for me!!!

Very rarely have I ever had a good experience at this particular Home Depot. Beyond basic essentials like power tools, household appliances, lighting, and/or paint, this location is very poorly organized with little-to-no signage on where certain products are. Today (04/05) I was searching for acrylic sheets, and went to ask a group of three sales associates that were having a conversation for help. They saw me approaching and basically scattered away. It wasn’t until I was on my way out that anyone bothered to ask if I needed help. Unless you know what you’re looking for and exactly where it’s located within the store, I wouldn’t suggest visiting this location.

I have experienced the worst customer service of my life. I went through Home Depot to have windows installed and it went well in the beginning. John was the sales rep and he turned out to be a great guy. We decided to buy windows because of him and a date was set to have them installed. Because that date was in March, weather played a factor, and the date got switched once. The installer had called me and we worked that out. The install went well. A full crew showed up and things got done in a timely manner. After the install, there were three issues that needed to be fixed. First was a tear in a screen. That got done rather quickly. Second was a window that could not be removed. This took a few months as a new one had to be ordered. It took longer than I thought it would but understandable. Third, one of the windows did not have a screen. It has been almost A FULL YEAR and I STILL do not have that screen. I called the 800 number MULTIPLE TIMES with zero results. I tried calling people directly with zero results. I tried having the guy who replaced the window help me out. He tried but the screen was never available. I was always the one who had to follow up. I started to involve John, letting him know the frustration I was feeling and the lack of customer service I was experiencing. He gave me a few phone numbers and I called one, reaching one of the supervisors. After discussing the situation, he gave me a date the screen would be in. That date came and went and I did not hear from him. Called him after a few days to find out he no longer worked there. Perfect! Made more calls. More discussions with a new date the screen would be in. That date came and went and nothing. Again. I can't believe that getting a screen, getting a problem resolved, from Home Depot could be this hard. This is THE WORST case of customer service I have experienced in my life! The time and effort I have put into this is way beyond what I should have. And it is STILL not resolved.

Enough knowledgeable people on hand to help with some hard to find items. It's Home Depot - you pretty much know where to go in the first place, but you can also get lost looking for an obscure item.

The man who helped me in the lumber department was great! He cut up my plywood to the correct dimensions (4 cuts) and he directed me to products on the opposite end of the store.

I had a very unfortunate experience with Home Depot Pro Services. I had a large order of special door locks for my business earlier this year. Tom Defusco was the person at the Pro Desk who took my order but he got it wrong. He along with his supervisors are now claiming that since I paid for the invoice it is considered that I approved it as it stated on the order. I have tried explaining it to them multiple times that I specifically told Tom what I wanted and what SKU number or special order number Tom puts on the quote/ invoice is not something I would have knowledge of. Basically they are expecting the customers to know what SKU or item number they put down on the orders. How do they expect the customer to know the SKU number for special order items. Since it is a special order item they are unable to restock it. That leaves me with about $9500 in hole. Needless to say I am very disappointed in Tom and their ability to accept a mistake and figure out a middle ground.

My husband and visited Home Depot this evening. We went in to look at ceiling fans. We were looking and debating on a couple. John, asked us if we needed help. He gave us a lot of information and honest opinion. Recommended one that was actually less expensive, but rated better. Thank you John, you were very helpful!

Typical Home Depot. Store fairly clean compared to most. We had 2 workers ask us if we needed help which is nice. We were looking for baseboards. Had a very nice gentleman help us and we will buy the pro pack per his recommendation.

Purchased a new GE washer & dryer setup to replace the Samsung washer that imploded and ate itself after only 24 washings. Took the smart track this cycle...paid $160 for each appliance for an additional 5-year warranty and paid $65 to have them installed with new hoses and power cord. The setup in stock was Sonic Blue and it matches our Midnight Blue bath vanity and wall cabinets. The delivery crew was great, knowledgeable and was in/out of the house w/in an hour. Awesome job!

Wish they had more of a selection on peel and stick tiles but the paint department totally made up for it! My bathroom color turned out perfect!

HD is consistently good. Stopped by to check out the end of season options for garden supplies and found a really good sale on perennials. Filled up a trolley cart for about $100! Staff was helpful but they need more cashiers, especially when it's crowded in the garden center and empty inside. (This is a "management aware of customer flow issue" , not an employee issue. There were so many staff inside standing around and just two people running the garden center. In July!)

I have never seen a store not honor their own price on their own website. And rather than resolve it, they only wanted to argue and try to blame the costumer. How ridiculous!Don’t show me one price and then change it when I come in to make the purchase.I chose a specific item based on the price, but it was ringing up 50% higher than shown online. When I asked about it, rather than acknowledging and correcting the error, the associate just made three outrageous excuses.First he said “the secret” is to know the website is ran by another vendor. Nope- that’s not for me to be concerned with.Then he tried to say it cost more because they had to keep the item on the shelf. Absurd!His last effort was to claim it was cheaper online to account for shipping. But (A) there is no shipping when picking up in-stock items at the store and (B) changing the pick-up vs shipping options did not change the price of the item.Despite pointing all this out—which a customer shouldn’t even have to do—the associate continued to argue, make excuses, and make this all my problem to solve.So I did: I left the items behind and will purchase them from a competing store who can at least do the bare minimum of honoring their own price.I’ll never shop with Home Depot again.Update: the competitor matched the price without any issue. That speaks volumes.

Convenient but watch out for big ticket non returnable items. I go burned on a $600 power washer. Tried to return unused in box but it was 32 days after purchase and they would not take it back.

This is by far my favorite location to visit when I need to go to Home Depot. The staff is wonderful, Eileen was really helpful and made the whole exchange process effortless. The shelves are neatly organized and the store is well stocked with what you’d expect at a Home Depot. Plenty of power tools and a great selection of anything else.

Great selection of every possible tool & home appliances/goods..it's often difficult to find an employee here to guide you or be able to ask questions, but focusing on the labeled aisles helps locate what your need.. it's a huge store with kind & helpful cashiers that assist with your transaction & a quicker exit..

Everything you need for your home. If they don't have it in store, they do online. If the website says free delivery to home and free delivery to store, that means its only available online.

Okemos home depot hosted some kids activity today . My kid was so excited .When I took my kid there they told they ran out of activity kit. My daughter was soo disappointed and crying for long time. It’s so hard to watch as a parent. Home Depot - IF YOU DON’T HAVE ENOUGH RESOURCES AND CAPABLE PEOPLE TO EXECUTE IT, PLEASE DO NOT HOST THIS KIND OF KIDS ACTIVITIES. THIS IS RUDE
