I cannot say enough good about the entire staff at Schultz Veterinary Clinic. From the amazing front desk ladies to the knowledgeable Veterinarians to the awesome Vet techs and assistants, you will not find a better vet office. Prices are more than fair for the amazing care and support you receive. Dr. Donahue is so knowledgeable and kind with all of my dogs (I have 11!) and she’s always continuing her education so I know I am always receiving the most up to date information. She has taught me so much about being the best dog mom and breeder possible. She is kind, she is always willing to answer all of my questions and genuinely cares about every patient she has. If you want your pets to receive the best care and you want to be treated like family, there is no better place! So thankful to be connected to such an amazing Vet Clinic. I truly cannot say enough good about them. I recommend them to everyone I know!

We absolutely love Schultz Veterinary Clinic. They took us and our sick pup in back in 2022. We were met with such amazing compassion. Karen bent over backwards to get us in as soon as possible after an emergency vet stay and when our then-vet was scheduling 3mo out. We knew then that we had found our new vet home for our two Silky Terriers.Schultz Vet Clinic saw us through our old girl’s illness and thanks to Schultz staff and Dr. Mallory, we had an additional 4 quality months with her. When it was time to say goodbye, Becky somehow understood me through my sobbing and got us in right away. Dr. Malinak was so patient and understanding. She gave me time with my girl and accommodated my dad and I as we said goodbye. Their care of her afterwards was wonderful and her ashes came back home to me less than a week later - on my 40th birthday.Less than a month later, an unexpected phone call lead to welcoming another Silky girl into our home, undoubtedly sent to us by our angel. She clearly saw we needed some comedic relief for our shattered hearts. Once again, we were back at Schultz.Each and every time, they’ve been accommodating, understanding, resourceful and respectful. Rizzo and Remi (and Wrigley ) love(d) everyone there. We’re so thankful to have found them 🐾🐾🐾

Schultz Veterinary Clinic is the best practice I have found in the Okemos area. There is another vet on the same road that I tried and she was curt and pushed product that she sold.So I decided I needed a new place and went to Schultz. Their office is well laid out and the seating is divided to keep pets apart if needed.Their exam rooms are clean and have all the equipment to check on your pet.My vet is Dr. Donahue and she is great! I trust her opinion and she's very informative. You can tell she cares about her patients.All the staff make sure to say hello to my Boston Terrier, Terra. She loves the attention and has even tried to visit people behind their counter. You can tell they all love the pets that come in.I'm very happy I chose their practice and will continue to bring my senior dog to Schultz for all the care she needs.

They have great service....Schultz has been our reproductive service provider for our versatile dogs. I have to drive over an hour to visit the clinic. Because of the care my dogs have received, I have switched to Schultz as my veterinarian for all my dogs primary needs....they are truly worth the extra time it takes to visit!

I would not recommend this vet. For example, when having ear infection they would make you pay to have an ear swab done as they continued to treat her with the same medication multiple times. They did not think it was allergies and would not prescribe her allergy medication. However, we switched vet and they never had to do an ear swab to prescribe her medications. Actually they did not recommended doing a swab of the ear because it could damage it. My dog is now extremely afraid of the vet related to her last visits here. One visit they were able to get her blood work on the table without restraining her down per veterinary documentation on past medical history. But her last visit they restrained her to get a swab of her ear. As it explains “she is very friendly but did not like being restrained.” Then we noticed the next visit she became extremely afraid of the vet. When taking her to a new vet they put in ear drops without having to restrain her. When calling to get her past medical history to switch vets they were extremely rude. I believe this place is money driven and they will charge you an arm and a leg for even an ear infection. I’m thankful we found a new vet that will do stuff without restraining her. In the end. the ear infection were related to seasonal allergies and her new vet prescribed her medication which has made a world of difference. When they told me it could not be allergies as she suffered multiple ear infection. Was it to get her to come to treat with multiple ear infection because they did not try to find the underlying cause. When taking her to this new vet for the first time we did not notice her being afraid like how she was at Shultz. To the point at Shultz she was afraid of certain staff members.

The Schultz clinic staff and Dr. Roth were great with my cat’s ultrasound and explanation of results, and everyone was friendly, professional, compassionate, and helpful. The people were positive and upbeat which helps when one’s pet is ill. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic and will return for my veterinary needs.

Experienced and courteous staff, and wonderful customer service! My toddler fell asleep on the car on the way to our dogs appointment, so the front desk was able to coordinate a curbside visit! Afterward they texted me a link for the invoice, so easy and convenient! Really appreciated by this busy mom!

My dog had a bad ear infection from swimming in the lake over the 4th of July. I called for an appointment and Schultz was able to get me in the next day. The appointment was on time. The care provided for my dog was great and professional. I didn’t feel like my appointment was being rushed and the Dr. took the time to explain how to give proper care to my dog for home.I felt the prices for my visit was reasonable priced.

Schultz has exceptional staff in both the front and back, responsive and educated. Prices are fair, the veterinarians give the most up to date info and options without being pushy. I would recommend this vet above most in the area having treated my dogs at a couple finding a home base- we will continue with our care here.

We have taken our dogs to Schultz Animal clinic for 25 yrs. We have had great care all these years. They’ve shared the joys of a new puppy with us and the grief of loosing our old doggies. They’ve treated our sick dogs with the very best care too. Just an all around great Vet Clinic!

Friendly and helpful docs and staff. LOVE Dr. Mallory and our dogs love her too. She is always willing to answer every question and take time to hear your concerns. And did I say efficient and professional whether in the office or on the phone? Had an emergency today and Dr. Donahue made time for us. She patiently explained the options to diagnose and treat our puppy. Everyone was fantastic! We can always count on Schultz to love our furry family as much as we do! Our old gal Kenya saw Dr. Mallory today and she helped us understand how we get her teeth back in shape and healthy.

Have been taking 4 cats here for medical treatment for 20 years. My kitty Thumbellina was not diagnosed with kidney disease just arthritis and treated for that. I was told she was hydrated and didn’t need blood tests because she had them less than six months prior. when 6 days before she died I brought her in I was told to give her sub cue fluids for kidney disease once or twice a week. When I questioned that direction later I was told it would bother Thumbellina poking her to much to give it to her every day (instead of being a life-saving measure). I was not given any scientific reason why I couldn’t of given her a smaller dose of sub cue fluids daily. I was told to call and talk to Lisa about my grief and the Vets whenever I wanted but now when I question the Vets judgement for her treatment (which I was told was part of the grieving process) I’ve been banned by them from coming back.

This climic remains a great breeders' veterinary practice. Several Westminster KC Best in Show winners began their lives there. Dr. Terrie Malinak does a fantastic job on Caesarian Sections. Dr. Michelle Roth is a great addition to the staff, doing surgery and repro along with Dr. Malinak. Dr. Kay Donahue is the third member of their theriogenology team. All of them have assisted with my reproduction needs. Dr. Felicia Mallory Lindell has concentrated on felines, but she has also been great with my dogs.

It's unfortunate that I have to leave this review amongst some other amazing opposites but there are tons of other incredible vets in the area who don't blatantly lie to you on the phone.I had an appointment set for 11:30. I had already missed one and explained that I have cognitive issues and remembering things are incredibly difficult for me. They sent me one reminder for this second appointment, a week before it. (They said they would send more, they did not)At 11:30 I get a call asking where I am. I apologize and say I can be there in 10 minutes, I just needed a rabies and a booster for my puppy. The lady said "oh? It's a puppy?"Pretty sure that should've been noted when I scheduled the appointment.She says no problem, and I am on my way. I take off thebrest of the day at work. My arrival time is around 11:45. I let her know that. Unfortunately, a train pushed me back about 4 minutes. At 11:50, I get a call while almost pulling onto their driveway. They said they have a mandatory meeting at 12 and I need to reschedule. I tell them my puppy, who gets car sick, has already thrown up and I'm only a minute away if they could take her later in the day. The lady goes away to ask the vet and comes back and says the vet has left for the day, and she had forgotten. How you have a mandatory meeting without the vet or how you have appointments until 5PM without a vet is beyond me!So then I ask how she was going to see my puppy at 11:30 if she wasn't there. She said "that was twenty minjtes ago, she would've seen her and left" but that isn't what I was talking about. At this point, I hung up. How was she going to see my dog at 11:45 if she wasn't there? Too much of this doesn't add up. Regardless of if I was on time to my appointment or not, I don't want to go to a vet who can't tell me the truth. Now I have a sick dog, a car full of vomit, and half a day of pay.

The team at Schultz Veterinary Clinic is great. When I have a question, someone responds quickly. I am always able to get my puppy Maya in without delay,and everyone takes great care of her. The veterinarians also are wonderful about explaining things to me so that can do my best to care for Maya. I also like the fact that we have seen several of the vets on occasion. That way we are not dependent on one of them in case we should have an emergency.

Excellent service from the staff & Dr. Donahue. We tried 2 vets before we found Dr. Donahue. She & her tech had positive energy & my 2 corgis just loved both of them right away. They had a great checkup & she spent a lot of time going thru old records to make sure all their shots were up to date. She suggested we try adding a grain food to prevent cardiomyopathy. There was plenty of parking, they do take a lunch & are closed for lunch. The building was clean and NO smells. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you for taking such great care of our 2 corgis.
