Loved taking my dog for the dog wash. The facility is well taken care of, and they make it very simple and direct to help keep your nerves at bay so you can be there for your dog. The shampoo and conditioner options were plentiful and smelled amazing, and the staff were so kind. I can see myself coming back when my lab inevitably gets into something she’s not meant to. Also hoping the medicated shampoo and moisturizing conditioner help with her dandruff!

No saltwater fish or even fresh water. They retired and sold the business. Now it called feeders or something. No new sign out front yet either. You wouldn't know they changed hands without going inside to be disappointed they sold and new business washes fur babies, sells dogs cat foods, maybe others. BUT NO fish any more . 😢

I went in this week to get something for my son's snake to eat. I personally would rather die than feed it so I knew nothing about how to go about this. Dawn was really helpful and gave me tons of good information. She was awesome. I passed this along to my son and we finally got the snake to eat. Which is good for him, bad for me 😄. Anyway, the service was awesome and we really appreciated the help.

It has been a long time since I went to soldans. They were still in okemos by the dealerships. Then it was a pretty basic feed store. Soldans now is so nice and clean and very boutique looking. My daughter and I went in looking for something for her fish tank and I saw the pet wash rooms. The pet wash rooms are what I went in for!!! They are amazing, great price, clean room all these years of washing my large Australian shepherds in my bath tub🤦🏼‍♀️. No more kneeling at the side of the tub killing my back. No more pet hair in my tub. Then sure I can towel dry the dogs at home but then what? The pet wash room has a pet dryer and it's amazing!! So many shampoo choices and they smell great. The staff is so friendly and helpful. This really was a great experience, I plan on going back frequently since I have 2 dogs! I hope every trip is as amazing as today's was!!

Great pet supplies store in the area. Helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. They are always ready to help you with choosing the best nutrition and supplements for your pet. They have a reward/ loyalty program for purchases. There is also a DIY dog washing station with everything you may need to wash and dry your dog.

Awesome new store, with great bathing areas for dogs and they clean the bath area after each dog. They carry the food my dogs eat and they are reasonably priced on all their foods

A little over-priced but they will price match if its the exact same product sold from a major retailer. Dog washes here are reasonably priced and saves me from another 30 min bathroom cleanup. Well worth it.

Great selection of everything you need for your pet, especially cat toys and treats. Don't forget that they have a great selection of birdseed as well. Store is always clean, and the staff are helpful fun to talk too! This store also does cat adoptions through the Capital Area Humane Society if you are looking for a furry friend 😺

I like the new store. When I went in, I was a little bit overwhelmed because there is a large selection of things, and it was so vastly different from other Soldan's locations. I went in for only a few things, one item was not in stock, while the other was. I was pleasantly surprised that there were adorable donut treats for dogs by checkout too, so of course I bought some. Both employees spoke to me, both were kind and I found them more attentive than employees of other locations.

Today I went in to the okemos location to pick a new food for my dog. I go to this store a lot and love it, but I had an especially good experience today. I asked one of the associates (I’m told her name was Sam) for advice - my pup was having tummy issues and I’ve been wanting to upgrade her food since I was giving her something pretty cheap. I told her that I wanted to stay within a certain budget and gave her all the details of all my dog’s tummy issues. She discussed it with me and gave me some great options. I picked the one she recommended, and my baby LOVED it and ate it all up even despite her fussiness lately. I sincerely appreciate your help, Sam! Nothing feels better than your dog feeling good!

This soldans is far better and more professional than the other lansing location, there's a reason I drive 20 minutes to this one rather than go to the one 5 minutes away

This is our go-to place or dog food, bird supplies, and feeder rats for our snake. We like to bring the dogs in to shop with us for their food and toys. The staff are very friendly helpful and attentive. This particular store has recently moved into a new space, and the interior is really nice now.

I go there all the time they do have a pretty wide variety of selection for my dog. it is a little pricey I think in my opinion but they do offer a free bag of dog food after 13 bags.the staff is knowledgeable and friendly and I have some good advice the other day from one of the clerks and I do appreciate it as does my dog.

Best pet supply store I've ever been to! Cannot say enough good things. Friendly, helpful staff, a tonnn of toys and more treats for your pets than you can imagine, and to top it off, they have the best prices of almost anywhere. Cheaper than Petco, Petsmart, Pet Supplies Plus, etc. Sometimes cheaper, and sometime more expensive than Amazon, but they are close enough that it's just better to come here! And to top it off, they do some great things for/with the community. I recommend Soldan's to everyone I run into with a pet

One of my favorite pet stores in the area because I have found they have the most reasonable and fair prices! You can buy farm animal feed in big bulk bags making it a lot cheaper. We buy all of our bunny food and hay here and it’s my favorite place to buy dog rawhides because of their big selection. Not to mention the staff is always very friendly and helpful every time you visit!

Friendly staff. I've been there a few times to get supplies for sick cats. I also got to play with the birds a bit and watch the fish. As good of place as any to get your pet supplies. Tons of toys and things, too. Would recommend!
