Let me just start with I was IMPRESSED with the Store PRESENTATION. I hadn't been in this Store in a Long time due to No Staff, Long Lines and the Store was a Mess. But I decided to go inside and I was AMAZED. I had the Pleasure of meeting Jay (Cashier) that Greeted me with a Smile. I asked for the Manager and Meet Michele whom was Friendly and a Delight to Meet. Then I met Will whom didn't want me to know his name but I found out that Will is part the reason the Store look AMAZING! KUDOS to Will, Michele and Jay ;)

I feel bad. The line was unacceptably long. No hate on the workers as there was barely anyone working and no a.c. Hope they turn this store around

What with the services that provided in black communities. This photo is a line that one associates mind you she only been working for 3 days is running by herself. While Kevin the other employee saw the line an went back into office. He didn't come out until he heard the complaints. Yes I was one of them. I called corporate while I was in line. No longer will I accept poor service.

Was shopping for Father's day cards, gift bags, and tissue paper. Found lots more items to purchase. Great selection. Great manager was working short staff. She was on the register and constantly got on the speaker to thank everyone for their patience! Wonderful experience.

I was surprised to see that the cashier was watching the Lions game on his phone while cashing customers out. He had his phone propped up right at his cash register. I guess he was multitasking.

just went in this store and a manager cut the line in front of me, bought some items and didn't excuse herself before, while or after she did it. very rude. the cashier tried to justify it by mentioning to me that she was the manager but I told him how it didn't matter it was still rude. she's there all day, and can purchase her items at the end of her shift unlike me, a customer with things to do.

This branch is supposed to be open at 8am (according to the door and google). I arrived at 8:10 and had locked doors. Saw 8 people come and go finding a locked door still at 8:25am (including someone walking - it was 32 degrees out). One car zoomed in and a kid of middle school age jumped out, with two dollars in her hand, obviously needing something before school. 4 more of us were waiting in the parking lot the whole time. I had to leave to make it to work on time. Dollar tree - you are messing with people morning!

I never been in a Dollar Tree as nasty as this one! Boxes sitting on the floor some of the shelves didn't have items on it! The store was a complete mess! The cashier just stopped taking people and started to do other things. When asked, which register to go, she just said, "Go to register 4, I'm about to punch out, the other girl be there in a minute"! Which actually took 8 minutes! In my opinion the worst Dollar Tree ever!!

When I visit this Dollar tree I was very impressed with a young man named Derek. There was only one line open and he was the cashier the line was almost to the back of the store but he was very courteous and fast with moving the line I didn't stand in line for no more than 5 minutes. I think Derek should be recognized for his hard work by giving him a pay increase or promotion. He was very accommodating to all the customers he smiled and he was very patient under under pressure he maintained a mild attitude.

Today there was only one cashier today, Darnell and A LOT of shoppers. Darnell was AMAZING!!!! He was quick and patient and very nice!!! In situations like this it’s hard to keep your cool and honestly, not walk out. But you would never know it with Darnell. I have no idea how this store struggles to staff because everyone I have encountered has been nothing but nice!!!

I would give it five stars. But every time I come in hereThere's always one register open. 10 people in line. Customer service needs to improve badly. It's always the same lady doing her best with no help. Dollar Tree in Oak Park You got to do better than this. Customer service is very important and we are getting tired of it. She needs help

They only had one cashier. I saw another female come later after The line was long. I was leaving and the same female was coming from her car. Not fare to the 1 cashier who was very nice and smiling.So 1.5 people working. HELP SIGN is up and I did leave my information.I can only do weekends but, I don't want to loose the only DOLLAR TREE left in the area.People come on do a little part time and discover the great deals there as well.

Dollar tree ...got to love it...everything $1. Granted some are better than others, so just got yo the larger dollar tree for larger selection. Great for parties, plates, cups, gift bags, and don't forget the balloons. You can't beat $1. Just find the larger dollar stores not the small ones and you be very pleased..

Large well stocked store. But closed midday so we had limited time to complete our shopping. Otherwise, the cashier was efficient and helpful. Lots of free parking available. Store is located close to lots of other shopping.

Nasty inside and out ...garbage outside always has a overflow. thank goodness they pulled up the filthy carpet.. long line with one casher while manager walks around with the telephone on his ear low stock not a very appealing store this store needs lots of work.

I came here once maybe 2 months ago and they were closing early bc of staffing levels. Thought I’d try again and their door is shut and locked even though customers are inside the store and it’s 5:30pm. What’s happening at this place??? I don’t go to DT bc it’s a beacon of perfection and staffing, but not even a sign on the door? Get it together. The whole parking lot is confused and staff is just staring at people trying to walk in.

Bought nearly $30 worth. Was told by clerk I could not take the cart into the parking lot for security reasons. I am above a certain age and walk with a cane, so I asked what looked like a manager to help.He snapped at me that he was busy. I answered that no one was too busy to take my money. While he was working at the register, there were employees stalking the shelves. I took half my order out and told him if anuthing was missing, I'd call the police. Fortunately, a very nice woman brought the othet half out. She agreed that he was incredibly rude. Go to the the stores on Greenfild (2) or the one on 11 MileVery nice staff there. Do this store a favor....if there are no customers, nobody will have to worry about protecting the stock. Wish I could give no "stars" for this.Revisted in March, 2019. New manager. Biggggg turn around. Store is cleaner and much friendlier.

This Dollar Tree is a pretty nice one. They're always well staffed, and always have everything in stock. And if you get there early you actually get lucky enough to find things that you will not find at any other Dollar Trees.

This store is usually decently clean,but this time it wasnt so much,stuff on the floor, leaks in the ceiling with buckets catching the water. Cashiers were vere nice and helpful.lf ur looking for Christmas decorations don't bother, hardly anything left.l did find some things l was looking for.😉

This is location is usually well-stocked. But honey those hand held shopping totes need a thorough cleaning. "Ewww!" I give a four-star rating due to cust serv and overall tidiness of the store. The aisles are not as neat as other suburban locations. (Yep, I said it!) And when I nicely ask for assistance, the employee more often than not, does not make eye contact, mumbles a reply, or heavily exhales before speaking.🤷🏽‍♀️ Grab a bottle of that Fabuloso and clean those green tote baskets, y'all!😆

Love the Dollar Tree but they don't really have good selection on any of their cards like they use to like for instance cards for Brother's Son's Son-in-law's excetera but you can find anything you want. They need help but don't want too pay they had to cashier's and that was it and had alot of people in line.

The male cashier was so disrespectful and impatient and should be on stock instead of dealing with the public. I wish no stars was an option; he talked to 2 children so nasty when I was in the store it was heartbreaking

New review this store looks horrible.. the new floor came from "Dump Yard $1.00 value center..it looks horrific..the rugs in the store is dirty & old. Is there a reason why the owner don't care about the store..just know I will be reporting this storw to Oak Park City Council. Hire a team to clean-up & stock shelves the cashier can't do everything..Social Media will enjoy these pictures.

For the most part all of the dollar trees I been to cross country been nice but this one location in Oak Park 9mile Coolidge its dirty messy and empty seems like no care
