They had Wet Cat Food! Most stores were out! I was taking pics in the store and the worker asked me if I had DG's permission to take them, I said no and deleted them. But, he couldn't stop me from taking a pic of the storefront, and the food I bought! They're out of friskes!

The workers prefer that you use the self scan machine. Only one cashier during busy holiday season. Other workers just standing around. Alot of stock to be put on shelves. I will never return.

Evidently, there are stocking issues. Every aisle was bare including the greeting cards. I stopped in to purchase two birthday cards. The cashier greets me as I walk through the door. I inquired about the location of birthday cards. Aisle 7 was the response. Zero cards. Went to another aisle for room freshener, ZERO.Covid 19 has taken the workers away.

Usually when I shop at Dollar General I'm normally ignored until I check out. Even at the checkout most of the cashiers act like they have something better to do. This was the first time that I've had an interaction with an employee that wasn't initiated by me. The store was also more organized. It was nice to be pleasantly surprised this visit. I hope this wasn't an isolated incident.

Wear a hard hat and steel toe boots when visiting this store. The clutter through out the store is reminiscent of a construction site. It is amazing that someone hasn't already tripped on the product that's out on the floor (and not the shelves) and injured themselves. Getting through the aisles takes quite a bit of maneuvering because one false move and a tower of product could tumble down and cause you serious harm. If you have to go into this store, please be careful, as you could be buried under whatever hasn't been placed on the shelves and left there for God knows how long.

I was just in there (8:10 AM - Thur) got my item and there was no one up front at all. I called out. No answer. I will go to the other store from now onThat was then. This is now. There is a new manager at this store who is so helpful and also efficient. When deliveries come I, there are at least two staffers working to get the aisles cleared and items in the shelf. This store has totally turned around.

They only had one cashier but that’s OK it’s understandable she was nice and polite good customer service . it was a little wait . but we are waiting everywhere now . we just had to take our patients with us thank you for working

Let me say this about this particular store in Oak park at nine mile and Coolidge.it was a disaster several months ago. Products all over the place on the floors it was disgusting went in the store today totally surprised. Floors cleaned and polished and the inventory was full on all the shelves.talked to a worker name Ella not sure about her name but they are much!Better so now I will patronize this store for sure.

Went to 4 Dollar Generals: one was too packed to maneuver through. Two tried to overcharge me. One claimed "there is no Michigan bounty law." One was just right.

Dollar general is a weird chain of stores. Some stores are well run. Some are dumps with rodent problems. The well run stores such as the one in oak park are a joy to shop in. Even when there is a problem the staff does their best to solve it. I shop there.Yet there are other stores that are much worse. When you see mouse droppings on shelves, well, I won't shop there. And yes I know that with open loading docks it is impossible to keep vermin out. However that is no excuse for not at least trying to keep the store clean. Especially when you are alerted to the problem and have done nothing about it two days later. I won't shop there again.

Dollar General is one of my favorite stores, but the " no cash" policy has led me to cut down on the number of times that I shop with them. This location has lighten up a bit on the mandatory use of debit or credit cards, but the corporation as a whole has failed the community during Covid 19. I'm not going to go back to Dollar General unless it's absolutely necessary.

I shopped at this particular store January 30 around 1 pm and the manager an older, short, dark complexion African American with a bad yellow wig and jacked up finger nails was very disrespectful to the customers. She tries to come off as aggressive but she’s just plain rude!! I will not be shopping here anymore and I am asking my family, friends and co workers to stop coming also. I feel sorry for the younger people under her. She needs to organize the store and do her job instead of taking her personal issues out on others!!! There is a dollar tree across the street. Some of the worst customer service in THE PLAZA!!!

They obviously don't care if you have a medical condition and are exempt from wearing a mask. They will let you shop and then tell you no one will ring up your purchase. They didn't seem to mind the week before. Never shopping there again.

I go here rather than the one closer to me. They are always stocked. The staff is friendly. They are in an area that is good for one stop shopping. There's are two pharmacies, two grocery stores, several food places, clothing stores, and a beauty supply. I will continue to go to this dollar general over others.

When in looking fordetergent and fabric softener because they had a pretty good sale price and ended up finding a pretty good price on Pepsi 12-pack which Pepsi is expensive and also ended up saying some other things the register lady associate was very helpful very nice and answered all my questions only thing that would have been better is if they had this thing that I wanted at a lower price other than that no complaints

The woman cashiers are not friendly they dont speak to greet you. I greeted them with hello and ended my transaction with thank you and still silence. If you dont like your job then quit. For the one on 9mile and scotia

Avoid this Dollar General at all costs. The cashiers are nasty, grumpy and they have the worst attitude, if these cashiers are so unhappy with their jobs then they need to sit home, people don't need to go spend money only to deal with low lives who have no idea what customer service means. Also, the store is nasty, filthy, stains everywhere, stuff all over the floor and most shelves are empty. Stay away from this garbage store and all Dollar Generals.

The staff is very pleasant and the prices are great and the lady manager, whenever I was there was always willing to help me with my needs, me being a bit physically challenged. So I'm very pleased with my Dollar General, thank you very much.

I came her today, store was dirty and empty, got a couple items, went to pay cash and didn't have change for a $100 even though my order was over $22🤔🤔 Had to put my stuff back and go to Family Dollar

There is ample parking. The store is located inside of a plaza. Upon entering the store we were greeted, but at checkout the employee was rude she had a nasty attitude.
