Pharmacist claimed she couldn't hear me on the phone and wasn't even trying to be helpful- just kept telling me my phone was breaking up and then told me to go through the drive through even though she couldn't locate my prescription which they were out of for my sick toddler. I like supporting Oak Park businesses but we will switch to the Berkley one because they at least try and help.

So here’s the thing, I’ve been going to this particular cvs because I’ve stayed in the neighborhood off and on for about 12 years now. I’m here to answer some things.Yes, they are still 24 hours BUT due to staff shortage and some employees calling off they do have to close at a certain time. It’s business.There are a few bad seeds employee wise BUT there is young woman by the name of Ashley who not only greets you with a smile and willing to help you BUT there is a young man by the name of Alonzo, who will not only help you but will make sure you are taken care of. It’s also 3 others who do a good job.That being said, if you’re in the oak park area….this cvs is good for you.

The female cashier is terrible, nasty attitude I went at 6:00pm 12/9/23 she looked me up and down I was in my jogging suit I wanted some clippers which was locked up , understandable she took 20 min to bring it upfront, the male cashier had to call her then she trying to argue with me ,she shouldn't be in customer service, she will meet someone with a worst attitude then hers. If u don't know how to treat people don't take a job that requires you to do so.

I was in the neighborhood had to use the restroom. I never heard of so many out of order restrooms Grace thrift store CVS in business in all my life. No public restrooms 😕 crazy these stores business business want the dollar but want open restrooms to customers. I can't n want shop in stores were I can't use the restroom just crazy 😧

WORST pharmacy around!!!This was my 2nd TERRIBLE experience and I won't be back for a 3rd! I filled my script mid December, when I went to pick it up before Christmas they said it wasn't "filled" and that it needed to be ordered and wouldn't be ready until after Christmas. I go today and they said it was put back and filled for another customer because I didn't come within 14 days when it hasn't even been 10 yet and that it has to be ordered AGAIN to be filled. And everyone is blaming each other saying "oh, i dont know why no one filled it" or "i dont know why you didnt get a notification". Even the pharmacy manager AL, just couldn't give me a reasonable excuse as to why my meds weren't ready and that I SHOULDVE gotten a notification about picking it up and he doesn't know what else to tell me except they have to reorder the meds. This place is a JOKE!

This place advertises being open 24 hours. It's also had a sign posted outside its front door for weeks saying "for tonight only we will be closing early due to staffing issues." So a day to this place is weeks to months long and staffing is so bad that a 24 hr place closes early every day.Obviously don't go here.

Has a big, bright, lit up sign that says 24hr. Right on the door there's a small, not lit, definitely can't see till you get right in front of it sign that says they open at 7am........turn off 24hr sign maybe 🤔

Ok! I was on my way home from riding my trike. I stopped at CVS in Oak Park to get a couple lottery tickets from the lotto machine. I had a question as to whether tonight was Powerball or mega. I went to the cashier to ask a question, she looked at me and said "I get off late tonight". Kinda puzzled for a moment, I realized that she had earphones in and was talking on the phone. I figured I would wait until she finished her sentence to whomever she was talking to before I would interrupt. She kept talking and looked down not to make eye contact. After a few seconds, I interrupted to ask a question. She pointed to her ear to indicate that she was on the phone.

This review is for the pharmacy only: I came in to get a prescription for my 84 year old relative with Covid who cannot take Paxlovid. They said that Medicare would have to approve it first and would not cover it without prior authorization. Of course there was nobody at Medicare to talk to at 8pm at night. This pharmacy also didn’t have the medication in stock.The pharmacy staff made some calls and got it covered through a state program and transferred it to a nearby CVS that had it in stock. I am grateful they took care of it with minimal fuss and I didn’t have to be frantic that my relative would not get the needed medication to help get over Covid. Thank you pharmacy staff! Wish I’d gotten your names but I was in a hurry to go pick up the prescription at the pharmacy to which you all transferred it to.

Very rude, not professional and no curiosity. The middle eastern guy put my ID on the table and basically tossed it. I gave it to him in his hand. The doctor on staff didn’t say anything under him was two middle eastern workers a lady and guy. If you don’t like the population you serve go work else where

Hey! These people are awesome. Give them a break. They have some of the nicest employees and eventually everything gets done. They have to deal with me and UPS packages all the time. It may be different once you get to know them as people as opposed to some uniform but once you get to know the workers and what is going on I believe there would be more respect and the knowledge this is a great store. Look at the alternative which is pretty much right across the road. NOT GOOD. SO, 5 stars. [Note: I have not dealt with the pharmacy. At least they have a pharmacist? Ahem *looks at other store*]

This store has things locked up like deodorant and other basic necessities. Worse part is there were only two staff in the store so there’s no one on the floor to assist with getting items that are locked. The two staff were both behind the counter with a line of about 15 people. The operation of the store is very unprofessional. Honestly, it’s sad how every time I enter a CVS within a minority community the operation, management and customer service is poor in comparison to other areas. They need to do better.

I literally drove past several other drugstores to come here. This Oak Park CVS on Coolidge has been updated this summer. We got our #2 COVID booster here just after the redo, and I’ve returned for my Booster #3! (Scheduled it online and arrived on the date & time.) Everyone is friendly and professional. Got my booster easy breezy. Highly recommend this CVS. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Do better, Pharmacy Mgmt. The drive thru window is closed ("COVID testing only"), and the inside line is 15 people deep. I realize we all have staffing issues, sometimes....but figure it out. We deserve better.

If I could give zero Stars I would. The pharmacy is the worst Pharmacy that I have ever been to. For two days my doctor has been calling in a prescription for antibiotics for me. I've been going up there or calling and they've been telling me that they don't have a prescription. I will mess around and go septic depending on them to fill a prescription my doctor has covid so she is not in the office right now hence the reason why I can't get a paper script. I am pulling all of my prescriptions from there and going down to Lincoln drugs I am done with CVS

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACYIf zero stars were an option I would gladly take it. I am a physician and wasted an entire hour trying to take care of one of my patients for whom the pharmacy cannot seem to fill critical medications. This seems to be normal for this pharmacy reading other reviews. If you care about your health if you care about picking up your prescriptions do not use this pharmacy. I have filed an official complaint with the Board of pharmacy and suggest others do the same. This poor lady had her prescriptions electronically submitted four hours prior and they still were not ready. I was simply trying to call and confirm that her prescription be ready for pickup tonight by her daughter. I was rudely hung up on multiple times and they refused to answer any further calls recognizing my number of caller ID. Do not use this pharmacy

My experience in this store has gone to hell. The cashiers are very unorganized and disrespectful as far as customer service. The lady behind me did not move when the cashier is on the phone ordering food saying come on with her finger. While ordering food from Happy’s Pizza. And even knew the lady on the phone by her name. Now I have been shopping with Cvs since it was Arbor Drugs and then further back. I am not here to tell folks how to do they job. But it’s time for change. Don’t let employees be managers or acting like they are if they ain’t. No phones should be on the persons let alone them being in it. Guess I’ll have to take my business elsewhere. And a few other customers said the same thing. And the hallway stays dirty where the carts are.

This location does NOT staff their store or pharmacy sufficiently. They frequently close early, without warning, leaving people like me without the medications we need. The few employees who remain are struggling. Management and above needs to get it together. Worst experience at a CVS ever.

Pharmacy staff were so incredibly rude on the phone Thurs afternoon. I just wanted to see if my med was ready. She was belligerent and basically said it'll be ready when it's ready. I called about 3 hours after they received the rx. Just cause you are having a bad day doesn't mean you can be nasty to a person that may or may not be seriously ill. They should replace that person with someone who actually appreciates the job. Never going back again.

There is an older black lady as cashier whose name starts with a “K” and she is very rude and does not have customer service skills at all. During my experience, she proceeded to try to force everyone to use self check out even though it was card only and when they didn’t use self check out she huffed and puffed so loud as if she was mad she had to work and that the customers were a bother.

This pharmacy is awful. Any time I need to call them, I’m on hold for at least 15 minutes. I know they aren’t giving me what my doctor specifically requested and it doesn’t seem like they’re going to stock it either. I’ll usually wait for over ten minutes in the store in line, they keep trying to refill things I don’t need and on top of that, are absolutely AWFUL at getting any of my scripts refilled on time. Needless to say, I’m over it. I’ve typed this entire thing out while on hold with them. Done.

Went there today bought a few items and decided to play the lottery. An older white female cashier said I had to write every number down because of a liability if they enter it wrong. Then after I wrote the numbers on grid she said oh since there was no one one else around I could of let you call them off and enter them. I told her there was no one around yet you had me go through this so I will take my business elsewhere. Shes ignorant and I won't be back.

The pharmacy department not all but some of them are very rude. I've been having issues getting my meds and when they put me on hold they always hang up on me. They talk over me when I'm trying to explain things and have poor phone etiquette. I've been patient with them but it's getting out of hand. I just want my meds and they're not interested in helping me with that.
