Great place. Traveling through and dog needed some maintenance. Nails and glands. I called and was able to be squeezed in. Pun intended. Lol. The waiting area is very cute. My Basset Hound was taken back and moments later, she was all done. Fast, affordable, clean, friendly service. Thank you!

Melina Saraceni Canzano is a MIRACLE worker. "Martha Mary" is a rescue dog with Mach 10 anxiety issues. I took her to DGB based on the reviews with the expectation that they might be able to run the clippers down one side of her and they would be calling me to pick her up 10 mins later. It would be the best that I could hope for in one sitting.She shook like she was being taken to a dungeon, and tried to climb over the desk to escape, so my expectations were set very low.You cannot imagine my shock and pure delight when my dog was presented to me and I hardly recognized her. An absolute MIRACLE in my estimation.Everyone who knows her LOVES Martha's new "haircut", and I could not be happier. Money well spent. Clearly Melina and DGB are true grooming professionals, who know how to show care with a very anxious little dog.I cannot recommend them highly enough.A "before" and "after" transformation:

Amazing is an understatement. Our dog is a large dog and super nervous. He cries and screams any time anyone tries to do anything to him so the idea of having his nails trimmed was a terrible thought for us. Dog gone beautiful did an amazing job. They were so encouraging to our dog and we could hear them being so calming and supportive of him to get him through his nail trimming “ordeal”. Seriously it was nothing short of amazing! I would recommend them to anyone! They are great. Thanks so much for helping us with our super nervous boy!!!

We had such a great experience with Dog-Gone Beautiful! It was really easy to schedule and the staff were all very friendly and knowledgable. I really appreciate the fact that they don't crate the dogs and let them play with each other for a little while prior to their appointment. I could tell my dog felt really comfortable there. My dog is a golden retriever mix and they groomed her perfectly and listened to exactly what I wanted. They did a great job with her fur and nail trim - will definitely be returning here in the future!

The absolute best groomer in the area and I've been to several. I have been taking my golden retrievers Rocco and Molly there since 6 months old (now 4yrs and 2 yrs). Molly has sensitive skin and they take both the CARE and the precaution to make sure she doesn't have any issues. Both of my dogs literally look forward to "getting their haircut with Stephanie" as they know it and come out happy, tired, and beautiful everytime! Highly recommended!

Dog Gone Beautiful is my favorite! They are all so friendly. My pup sees Brittany and she is fantastic, she treats her so well and her haircuts are spot on. I also love the socialization with the other dogs versus putting them in cages. I highly recommend Dog Gone Beautiful 🐶💕

Excellent groomers! Our two goldendoodles have been groomed by Natalie and Stephanie since we moved to Michigan 9 months ago and they have done a consistently excellent job every time! Finding someone that can do a really good "doodle" cut is challenging, but Natalie and Stephanie always listen to what we want and deliver. Our two dogs clearly adore them. During our last groom, one of our dogs was recovering from shoulder surgery, and they were extremely accommodating with appointment times and very careful with him and his limited mobility. They care about your dogs as if they were their own!

The best grooming experience we have ever had. My dogs love going there to play with all their friends before and after they are groomed. Even the chihuahua likes the staff. The dogs come home looking beautiful and smelling great!

Love love love Dog Gone Beautiful as much as my little Chloe loves it there. I had tried another groomer prior to going to Dog Gone Beautiful and was not real happy with them.Dog Gone Beautiful is unique to me how they handle the dogs and how the dogs all play together in the room. It is such a great way for the dogs to learn how to play with other dogs and be social. Absolutely love Natalie she is wonderful with Chloe. I feel like it's a doggie daycare because they absolutely do not mind the dogs playing together all day. I more so like that the dogs are not put in crates after their grooming. I find that amazing and so much appreciate everyone there.

It is really difficult for me to judge my experience with this place and assign a star level, but 4/5 seems about right. I would do 4.5 stars, I think, if it were possible.When I picked up my dog, I was aghast, there was definitely some sticker shock on my part! (And what are ya going to do, right? They have already done the service, you can't undo it and get your money back.) I paid nearly 50% more to get my dog's hair cut here than at my previous groomer(s). I typically pay $45-$55 elsewhere, and I walked out of DGB with a $70 bill (BEFORE tip) and was told that it actually should have been more, that they didn't charge me a fee that they normally would have.Okay, so that's the bad part.The good part is that my dog's cut was really nice and they did a REALLY good job with her nails, I was quite impressed with how well they were sanded down! Months and months of too-infrequent home nail trims and they rectified it all in one visit!Her haircut was also very well done and they left her eyelashes intact, as requested. Clearly, the groomers are quite good at what they do.I was also pleased with the demeanor of the front desk ladies that I dealt with, they were very nice and I was SO grateful to them for carrying my dog in for me so that my unvaccinated toddler would t have to go indoors. (THANK YOU!)So, is this simply a case of 'it's expensive, but you get what you pay for'? Maybe; you decide.Do I think there is a lack of transparency (and possibly some arbitrary grooming costs) here? Possibly. Am I happy with the job they did, costs notwithstanding? Yes.

After having our dogs groomed by the same groomer for over 10 years, she retired. We tried to find a new place for our little kids. After 2 failed attempts, we found dog gone beautiful. The owners of this place and the staff are wonderful to work with and they literally treat your dog just like they do their own. From the moment we got there we were treated with respect and great personalities.When we picked the dogs up eight hours later they were extremely happy and you could tell they had a great experience.Will never go anywhere else.

My rescue dog is older and terrified of people. We decided to bring her here for a nail trim. I was expecting her to shake in fear, but she didn't. She was very comfortable here which speaks volumes of the staff. Everyone is so friendly and loving. I will definitely bring her back for additional services. Love this place!

This is the best experience I’ve ever had with a groomer!! You can tell they truly love and care for the animals they service! My dog left clean and happy when he’s usually skittish and wary of groomers. We will definitely be regular customers here.

This is the most awesome spot around. Natalie and Stephanie have transformed the space into such a fun, warm and welcoming environment for all their "special" friends. My dog Rory has such a great time there and was so happy to see Natalie again.Rory is never nervous or scarred when I leave her and when I return to pick her up she is so calm and content. I know she has had a great time and the grooming experience has been awesome for her.Oh, I must not forget, she looks adorable too!Thanks Natalie and Stephanie for opening your salon so close to us.

Steph and Natalie have great talent in not only grooming but real care with my dogs. I have Standard Poodles who require more than the average maintenance. The dogs are very anxious to get to the "spa" for their treatment. As soon as I turn the corner to the building, they are excited to get out. Love it!!!

Finally a place I can take my dogs for a pleasant nail trim experience!! Stephanie and crew do an awesome job making each pet feel safe and comfortable. They handle my little scaredy cat Princess with ease and speed. The shop is always clean and its nice to see how happy the other "clients" are when visiting. Highlight recommend!!

I tried this groomer for the first time today. I was a wonderful experience — very professional, friendly, clean, efficient! My 50 lb golden doodle has a very wooly coat - not the easiest to groom, for sure. They gave her a great cut, & she was happy when I picked her up! If you are looking for a great groomer, don’t hesitate to try this one!!

In from out of town and needed to get my girl groomed! Called them to see if I could schedule an appointment and they were kind enough to fit me in at the last minute (for the next day). They were very polite when we arrived and even separated the shy dogs from the overly outgoing ones - really liked that! Very well run business and nice cuts. Recommend coming here!

I have a goldendoodle and I have taken Sophie to a few places in the area. I really love the way Dog Gone Beautiful cuts her hair! Plus, the price is affordable. The owners are so nice and they take such great care of my dog. I highly recommend them!

Dropping off my dogs I was uncomfortable the amount of uncaged dogs already behind the counter. They stated they were overbooked and looked overwhelmed and understaffed for the amount of dogs, after leaving my dogs for an 11am appt and finally after a couple calls they were ready at 530. A week later turns out my dog has kennel cough from being there, and nowhere else. After being told off by the manager, I’m simply going to find a different groomer. This may be a good groomer for some as dogs are uncaged, they groom dogs well; but personally, I’m paying for a grooming not a daycare!

We just moved to the area and I have been dreading finding a new groomer. I had our long haired dachshund in for a good summer cut and Natalie did a great job! She looks beautiful and had a blast playing all day with the other dogs! She fell asleep as soon as she got home. Kona's sister will be going next week for her spa day!

Recently moved to the Plymouth/Northville area and picked a new groomer but had a bad experience. Decided to try Dog-Gone Beautiful. Our dog was very scared and stressed out from the last grooming so he was hard to handle but Dog-Gone Beautiful worked with him and he got an excellent cut. Stephanie did an outstanding job. Wonderful environment. I was so nervous about getting my pet shadows haircut and all the dogs running around. But when i went there it was such a well organized set up. Shadow had a blast, the gromming was exceptional. I would totally recommend Dog-gone Beautiful.

After meeting the amazing ladies of Dog-Gone Beautiful I made an appointment for my newly rescued dog. Timid, afraid of men and just about everything else (I rescued him about 6 weeks ago) I was nervous to leave him. The team was more than equipped to handle his nervousness! When I went to pick him up he looked like a new dog! In fact, he didn't even want to come home with me. Exceptional value and service. If you are looking for a groomer this is the one!
