The original purpose of the trip to Lowe's in Niles, Michigan was to pick up an exterior door with/for a friend of mine, with a time permitting scan of the paint samples for a living room remodel in the near future. Everything was going great and everyone was very helpful until the moment I took a picture of their outdoor furniture displays. I was quickly swarmed by three (3) employees that took turns asking; "Can I help you?" - "What can I help you with?" - "Is there a reason you need photos of the store?" To the later question I informed the three overly excited and underpaid workers that the photos were being taken with the intention of being used in this Google review. This did nothing to soften their demeanor, nor to dull the sharp and judging stares. All of which made for an extremely uncomfortable and offensive experience.

Store is 100% worthless, policy for purchases and knowledge of sales personnel, what few there are. Joke store in our community. Hope Menards decides to put a store in Niles. Heard they are considering. Now that you gotta love.

Need any help? Order online is more helpful than any real people. Needed help ordering blinds and it was a total joke and complete waste of time. Took 20 minutes to get anyone to help us and when he showed up he was clueless. These stores deserve to go out of business and employees deserve to be unemployed.

Spoke with manager mark about getting an online order shipped. I also offered to pay for shipping but he told me to cancel my online order and come in the store I asked him can I use my online credit in the store he insured me he could. But of course we get there and no one can help after I cancelled my online order. And the assistant manager I think Kristie told me I could have just paid for shipping without canceling my order. So of course I’m pissed. Being told 2 different things from management and serval different things from employees. You should have done what you said you were going to do for us when we spoke on the phone. And mark didn’t return my call. Mark needs management 101. Will never trust this company again.I replied to the response just for the 800 number to piss me off again. And do absolutely nothing to resolve my issue. 1st guy transferred me to someone else to further assist me and she didn’t understand why he transferred me, telling me there was nothing that she could do. There will not be a 3rd time.

I've been to Lowe's multiple times.... for some reason at 630pm on Friday night is the best time to find people from the store for help! They were great!

I still find these places to be hit or miss- but today went well. Randy in paint and Don in HVAC were very helpful in helping solve my issues and guide me to the best decision. I will keep coming back for various home improvement needs.

I came in Saturday and purchased a maytag refrigerator and delivery set up for Tuesday between 12:30 and 4:30pm. The driver called me Tuesday at 10:30am and said he was on his way. I told him my delivery was set up after 12:30pm and I was at work. He told me too bad I was his last delivery and he was on his way. He arrived at 11:09 am according to my blink cameras and proceeded to deliver the refrigerator with my 16 year old son home my son asked him to put the doors on the other way that I had requested in the store and he threw all the hardware on my table and told my son his tools were broke. Then had my 16 year old sign for the delivery which is completely illegal. I purchased from lowes because I thought it would be a flawless delivery and installation and instead im left with a refrigerator I paid $900 for that looks like it came from a scratch and dent store with screws sticking out and hardware on my kitchen table. I have contacted my local lowes and customer care with no resolution or assistance in the matter, not whatsoever to resolve the issue. I will never buy any appliances from this store "Lowes" again and will be contacting an attorney about them doing tractions with 16 year old on behalf of an adult.

Has to be the worst Lowe's. Everytime I get an order for delivery of an item which they have in stock. It's always delayed a week or they come up with some ridiculous excuse.

Place is a joke! Took four different employees to give me a price on a gallon of Mistinted paint. They priced it at $34 when everywhere else is around $9 a gallon of mistint.They have not restocked their 2x3's in several days. Isle ways in lumber/siding are a mess. Making it hard to get to anything you need. They remove prices from stuff so you have no clue how much it is until you get to register.Employees are rude and not very helpful. Never ask if you need help loading.I'll be heading to Menards from now on. I didn't way too much money here to have to deal with it. The girl at register in lumber is always kind and deserves a raise! Wish I knew her name. She's always there and is always great.

Spectacular service from Dean and such a great conversation we had. This man deserves all the praise and was a delight to encounter here. We didn’t need all that much but he took his time to help, and right before closing too! Give this man a raise. He truly enjoys and cares about his job. That’s so rare anymore, make sure he gets recognition because he makes your store work!

The best part of any store is the people who work there. Some guy named Hardy was friendly, and knowledgeable on several project needs. Makes it not only a pleasure to do business there, but economical as well because he knew exactly what I needed. Guy needs a promotion, and raise.Also, put humans back on registers to check out. I'll be going to the lumber area checkout, which is still operated by humans, with anything I buy until then.

Came in for curtain rods cause I was told on the phone that the store had a variety of double curtain rods and no store didn’t. I found extensions for rods I have home. I ask a lady for help and she was a vendor at the store and she helped me out by paging someone. No one came and she notice an employee near but he didn’t know what I was talking about the extensions. He said store was short on staff. I went ahead and bought extensions. This store is probably the second or third time I have been to. If you want customers to buy what they need at the store there should be employees in the department that someone is needing help. You might want to have employees in the departments or you may lose customers walking out cause no assistance.

I was in Niles Lowes this week in need of items in plumbing.I knew the section but wasn't sure exactly which items went together in fit.There happen to be a worker named Skylar in the aisle lucky for me right then.I asked him for help, I told him what I needed and he got everything I asked for quite quickly.I was very happy to have this young man Skylar who knew exactly where everything I needed was.Saved me a lot of time walking around looking for things I may have gotten wrong.Than you for having an employee like SKYLAR that knows his job and left me being a happy customer.

DO NOT USE SAME DAY DELIVERY. This is not a slam against the workers at the store. They're trying but corporate hasn't given them the tools they need to make it work. I ordered 3 doors. First off the website didn't transfer all of the delivery info I entered to the 3rd party delivery company. They were delivered to my billing address not the job site. 2 of the 3 are damaged. One is unusable. I was told by the manager she had to file a claim with the delivery company. She has no ability to direct someone to correct the situation. They've tied her hands. I was told to bring the damaged doors back for a refund. If I had a truck I wouldn't have paid for delivery. Hello. Meanwhile my disabled brother can't get in or out of the house because the doors were dumped on my front stairs. and I have a carpenter scheduled for the jobsite tomorrow morning to install. I still don't know what resolution there will be. I'll update.TLDR: Don't use their delivery.

From the beginning of the purchase, it has been a nightmare. I took my Mother to buy a new gas stove, not an uncommon situation. We had one picked out, but we were deterred from purchasing the stove. We were told to purchase the in home consultation to make sure “we knew what we needed”, after already telling them the size and hook up components we needed.The salesperson gave the wrong phone number to the third party company, and we waited and waited for them to come out. Two times they were scheduled and didn’t show. Finally they showed up after many calls to Lowe’s to figure out the phone number issue. After the consultation, which didn’t improve the experience at all, we went back to Lowe’s (30 minutes away) to FINALLY PURCHASE the stove. Weeks had passed at this point, and now the stove wouldn’t be able to be delivered until the middle of June or later.Here it is, June! YAY! We will finally be able to eat and cook with a stove again!! Or so I thought. I called Lowe’s to see about the delivery date for the $1,900 stove. Left a message for the associate that sold me the stove. I had to call back a couple days later, only to be told that the vendor, Samsung, cancelled the order. But no one from Lowe’s ever called to tell me. I said I wanted a full refund. I gave all my information to the manager and have yet to receive a phone call.

Usually have fairly good experiences at this store, but the most recent one was bad. We were in the power tools area and needed help. No one there, so we walked down to find someone, ended up at a cashier who kindly paged for help in power tools. Went back to wait - nothing. No one ever came, and what's more, several employees who seemed to be wandering around went out of their way to avoid eye contact with ANY customers. We watched, and as soon as they saw us looking at them, they turned down an aisle. Employees need serious in-store customer service training. We ended up leaving and making the purchase somewhere else.

Terrible customer service. You can't ever find anyone to help. By the time you do, you're already too frustrated to look for anything else and leave with a lot fewer items than what you wanted. Better service at home depot (not much though). Decent sales and clearance items is the best thing about this place.

Walked in and went to the customer service desk here at the Niles Lowe's. Latisha just looked at us. Told her what we needed and she turned and told the next customer in line to come to the register we were standing at. We stepped aside and she did call for the person we needed but she literally said NO words to us. She did not acknowledge us at all. Rude.

Ordered a new tool box, 2 piece set. Ordered online after looking in the store, when I ordered from Niles it then switched to the Michigan city store, I was told for inventory management, even though the Niles lowes had 1 in stock Michigan city had more and that cost me $79 to have it shipped but i paid the shipping. I was able to pick up the top box to the set from the Niles store and asked if there was any way i could just grab one from the Niles store while I was already there. They said that Michigan city store was shipping me one very soon and would have to cancel it and then purchase it again from the Niles store. So I waited and they updated my order to shipping March 29th so I waited it but never came. Called Niles lowes after I realized it was not coming again and finally talked to someone that helped me, told me to come in Monday to get the one they had and she would take care of Michigan city canceling the order for me. I had confidence in her, went in today to get the tool box and no one in the store has heard of this person I talked to Friday. By now I'm getting upset 3 weeks after paying for a tool box that I paid for that they have in the store and they would still not give me one of them. Now I'm mad admittedly. Long story short no one there cares. They gave me a display model with dents missing the keys. Had to ask for help loading a 41 inch rolling tool box when I realized I did not receive the keys I went back in and asked for them and they could not find them they simply handed me Craftsmans number and told me I needed to call them to get new keys for it. I paid $79 shipping for a new tool box and had to pick up a display model they could have let me have 2 weeks ago.
