Awful. Made an appt for 11:15am, dropped off cat for a haircut. After 3 hrs called and was told they do animals on a first come first serve basis and dogs go first. Said they would do the cat next and be done in an hour and call when he was ready to be picked up. 2 hrs later, called and told them I was just gonna pick him up, they said he was next and would be done in 15min. Went to pick him up, paid, and they brought out my cat soaking wet and no haircut. The 2 people argued about how one didn't tell the other he was supposed to get haircut. Took him back in, buzzed him with the most sloppy cut EVER. It was of course all choppy because she did it in 5 minutes while the cat was soaking wet. Horrible. My poor cat was traumatized. Will never go there again.

My neighbors recommended Happy Tails for our new pup’s grooming needs. Mary and her husband were very accommodating. They went above and beyond for our Bichon. He looks great. This was such a pleasant first time experience. We will continue to bring our little guy to Happy Tails from here on out.

I've been coming here for quite a while and today was the last time. My dogs nails are still long and my girl was still wet. Value isn't bad, but the job is done poorly. On top of that, I have a dog that can not be crated, she has very high anxiety and when I made my appointment I made that very clear. So when I arrived I waited in my car. I did not ask anyone to hurry, I was not rude, I did not try to rush anyone. I just sat in my vehicle and watched some tv while I waited for my dogs to be done. When they were finished (After I had paid my bill) and brought out my second dog I was informed that if I wanted to wait in my car in the future "We will assume you want expedited service and will charge an additional 10 dollar fee". Which took me completely by surprise, again, I didn't even ask them to hurry. If they felt like they had to rush, they could have just asked me, as I was told when I talked to them on the phone, that it would be towards the end of the queue so they'd be able to see to them. I would have gladly waited. Instead I was rudely informed I needed to pay for waiting outside. (Mary) told the nice man to tell me that and couldn't have even told me herself or addressed it directly with me. I have no need for that kind of attitude towards a customer. I'll happily take my business elsewhere, which is a shame as I've always spoken highly of this place.

I had a 10:15 appointment, but owner insisted I arrived early and rushed her. I left a letter with Rob pointing out Riley's 2 skin tags as she nicked one last time. Well, she nicked both and then said she never saw blood, yet my dog had some type of medicine on one of his sores. Then, when I called to complain, she said I was holding her hostage on the phone and she had other dogs to do. Never again.

I picked my mini golden doodle up from being groomed. When he came home he was not acting like his normal happy self.. could not pin point what was wrong with my baby until I noticed the abrasions he had all over his face. (which his fluffy ears covered until I pulled them back) I can’t imagine the pain he is in and was in while he was in the “care “ of happy tails. Once I called concerned about what happened during his visit that lead to him being so mistreated.. I was called a “Karen” by the women in charge who had no sympathy for this incident! I will never return! And will continue to help make my puppy as comfortable as I can after being abused!!

I have 130lb great dane, 8yrs old, was kinda nervous at first being I was the only one giving him his baths and didn't know how he would do with someone else, turned out he did great!! So relieved. He smells amazing, nails, teeth, and ears look great. Definitely bringing him back !!! Thank you Happy Tails

Took my dog there to have nails trimmed and to be groomed. Got him back, nails had not been trimmed and his ears were dirty. Called place afterwards to confront them, they lied and said they did all that. They offered to have me bring him back to fix it but honestly will not subject my dog back to a place like this.

First time I dropped off my dog was okay, wasn’t the best experience but surely wasn’t too bad. it was just interesting to say the least.Decided to give them one more chance even though I wasn’t fully satisfied with my first visit. Scheduled an appt and all. When i arrived i parked in the other parking lot that’s the hair salon, my reasoning was i was going to take my dog on a leash into the patch of grass so he could potty before getting groomed. I walk towards the door, i don’t even knock or step in, because i know I can’t walk in. Lady comes out and tells me to move my car to the other side (mind you that’s just to spaces over). I was like “well i’m leaving here soon, since i am just dropping him off”. lady says “yeah but if you could just move your car” and again i said “i’m leaving anyways so it’s fine”. she said just said “okay but for next time. so your dog doesn’t get hit by a car” i said “okay yes”. In my head i’m thinking he’s on a leash and secondly even if he wasn’t, he is well trained and doesn’t run away, i know my own dog, PLUS the road is still a ways away haha: when i dropped him off i wasn’t asked what type of cut i’d like nor length or anything. I wasn't told a time to pick him up, no insight at all. was not surprised. I called 3 hours later to see if he was done & she told me to pick him up around 5pm, mind you i took him in around 10 ish. I then was like “that’s extremely long” and then she quickly changed the time and said to come in at 2pm or so. I go to pick him up and she INSIST i stay IN my car, I simply am just walking out to receive my dog, basically demands me to get in my car. I get him back and his body is shaved down and his head is left HUGE. it was pretty bad, immediately booked him somewhere else where he got all fixed up and the experience was much better. Im all for supporting small local businesses but sadly i won’t be back to this one. lastly, they call wayyyy to often asking to book my dog, quite annoying.

The gentleman taking my dogs in was very nice. However, they went for just a nail trim and the nails were still too long. I have been a groomer and I normally do them myself but I hurt my wrist and was not able this time. When I called I told them that I would like the nails grinded too. All their nails were not even close to short enough and not grinded. I went back and asked them to grind them. They happily took them inside and claimed to grind them but they are still sharp and don't feel grinded at all. Will not be going back.

They took on a big job with our rescue. Very nice sweet and honest. You can tell they love the animals that come in. When we got to pick him up he was calm, happy and seemed so happy. Highly recommend them. Thank you guys so much

Mary at Happy Tails is such a great woman. She does an amazing job with my long haired dog when we have him shaved for the summer. With our old groomer you could see lines in his coat from the razor and she always cut off his long ear fur. At Happy Tails we never have that issue! I highly recommend them.

I have taken my Aussie (Quin) here twice and I love them!!My Aussie is Not an easy client,yet they had him nice and calm and giving kisses.QUIN looked ,felt and smelled amazing!!!Wouldn't go anywhere else!Also Very reasonably priced.

The only groomer in the area that hand grooms Norwich terriers. They are excellent with a sassy breed. Cooper looks great every time they groom him. Very small shop but they work wonders.

Mr. Rob is always very pleasant and friendly. We have a toy poodle who we prefer with a teddy bear cut. I guess the groomers either don't know how to do one or just refuse to do it because I've asked for shorter ears and tail (part of the teddy bear cut) more than once and my baby never comes out with a standard poodle cut. I sent her back in today to get her ears shortened today because the way the groomers there cut them, they hang in her food as soon as she comes home from grooming and get food caked into the clean hair. Just feeling quite frustrated that my baby can't get the cut that we love so much on her.

Took my Chorkie to them for the 1st time today for a Mani and Pedi and they did amazing... Had trouble with other places but this place did great... Will definitely be taking my baby back...
