Smaller goodwill, not much to see here but some local residents to get to meet. Might find some furniture or small accessory but count out finding anything worthwhile in terms of long lasting fashion here. Average t shirt is $8 and at that point you’re better off buying a brand new shirt for a couple more bucks.

Prices for the majority of clothing in the Niles store is $8.99 which has doubled since I was in a Goodwill store about a year ago. SHAME on Goodwill Industries for gouging the public and being more money hungry than providing a fair priced product to the population they are supposed to serve!!!! Reminder: all their inventory is DONATED AND FREE!!!! Buy new and close to similar price at Walmart which is where I am now!

Ok I really like the doll and Barbie section. They are great when it comes to toys. But when it comes to furniture and home decor they could stand improvement. And the clothes cost WAY too much! I mean I can buy a new pair of jeans for $18 dollars and they want to charge $13? Huh? I don't think so. Anyway just my 2 cents

This GW is great.. except prices going up almost monthly it seems. Even dollar store items will be priced at $1.99. oh, the good old days of 2019. Doesn't reflect well on this store, but they aren't in charge of setting prices, that comes from corporate. Greed is everywhere.

I haven't been to this Goodwill for a good while. I was pleasantly surprised!Everything was well merchandised, the store neat and clean, the lights bright. Even the musty smell was gone. Prices seem a bit higher than in the past, but still reasonable.I commented to the cashier that the store is much better kept than in the past. She said, "yes, we have a new manager, and she's doing a great job!"I don't know how long the new manager has been there, but it seems like a different store. Well done!Returned today, January 6. Still nice and clean and organized!

Wonderful store - It's clean and neat and easy to find things.They are very accommodating .The manager, Linda, is wonderful.Regular shoppers are treated like family.Sometimes, they have high-end items and generally have better items than most thrift stores.It's the best Goodwill I've ever been to.

Purchased a desk around 1:47 from an amazing young cashier named gregHe informed me I could come back to pick it up as long as I got it by store close. I came back around 3 to pick it up and got the RUDEST attitude from every person in the store. There was no one at the front of the store so I informed someone in the isles that I was here to pick up a deskWith receipt in hand and she waved me off and told me she didn’t know where it was and if I paid already I could get it. I went to go pick up my desk and got the top of it to my car no problemTo then be bombard by one older lady and one older gentleman about how I just “WALKED OFF” with it but I had already told someone I was here to pick it up. Their manager on staff at time said “HEY what are we doing here” as we stealing when I literally had the receipt in had. I do not appreciate the rude attitude after rude attitude over a 30 dollar desk. 100% don’t recommend unless u watch attitude from older folks that don’t know what’s going on. Instead of giving me attitude they should have checked with THE ONE person on the floor at the time not sure the name but she was an older lady with red and grey hair

Been chased out of this store by its over the top employees acting as if everyone is there to steal the clothes. Theft happens when you walk out the door. I was there to actually.spend money. Too bad Goodwill doesn't need my support I'll give, where it's needed in this community.

Like rummaging through my grandmother's attic. So much fun ,(even if we end up not buying anything). Occasional treasure found. Clothes prices are a bit stiff lately, lowering significantly our acquisitions. Still, a great service to the community. Well done folks!

good selection of clothes and they seem to not have too much stuff that is stained or torn. I would say 3/5The dressing rooms are kept tidy.The staff seemed nice although my only interaction was at the register.The aisles are a bit tight and there isn't much organization (as in a section was labeled something but those clothes where also in multiple other locations in the store) Much more selection of women and children clothes than Men's clothing.

The clothing is way too expensive for being a used store. I can often go down the street to Walmart and by a brand new t-shirt for the same price or maybe a dollar more than Goodwill. That doesn't make a lot of sense. How does that help people? I noticed several pairs of shoes were not matches but were being sold together. Also the signs for the shoes says they are certain prices and when you get to the register they say they are a different price. Other than that it's a good place. But they need to lower the prices on the clothing and shoes.

Very clean and well organized.My go to place for treasures with the greatest manager ever .It's sad though that Goodwill Inc. charges mall prices on donated items.it s not the individual stores that set the prices.

This store in Niles is quite big, compared to many others I've been to in Michigan. Tons of board games, puzzles, clothes, shoes, etc. Not as much furniture as I've seen at some stores, but still a couple pieces out of ten I would've bought if I wasn't trying to relocate soon. Friendly check-out workers, too. I ended up with lots of stuff and feeling like my $65 was well-spent during an hour of enjoyable shopping.

Nice store discount items at a very fair price. Workers very helpful. Has a public restroom for men and women. Well lit sales floor warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Items such as used clothing shoes appliances cds baby clothes under garments belts ties suits for men toys and nick Jack's dvds cassettes and records and furniture. That about sums it up.

It’s Goodwill. Prices here are a bit higher on some stuff than down in SB, depends on the day. That stuff is sometimes name brand and other times from the dollar tree just down the road. When that happens, it’s frustrating when it costs 1.49-2.50 for an obviously used item from DT. 5 stars regardless; because they have typical Goodwill pricing on most things.

Service from the start is good. But, my complain is about the prices. A lot of the items they sell would be just the same be price outside for a new product. Seems like, Goodwill wants to be a retail store now a day's, instead of a thrift store.

A bit too much is disorganized, very hard to look through the books unless you are willing to look at everyone individually. The staff is nice and there is a parking lot. I'm not much for Goodwill in general. They ask if you want to round your money up to the nearest dollar for Goodwill donation the will go toward Goodwill's "mission." That money can and does provide jobs at Goodwill in your community, but it does little else for your community.

The lady that checked us out was a horrible rude person. We went in there just to look for fun. And she was unbelievably rude. Talking rude to customers that came in. She is the reason I will not go back!

I do have a soft spot for Goodwill but I have to say the prices have gotten ridiculous. But the things they do for the community and how hard they work especially after sales days and how we leave them a mess I have to give it five stars!

Went in to donate some furniture today and the "manager" came out with an attitude, one of the things was a big screen TV to which she said "we don't want this, we haven't taken TV's in two years" as If we were supposed to know that. NO ONE TOLD US THAT WHEN WE CALLED AND SAID WE HAD ITEAMS TO DONATE. We also had a leather sectional, she acted disgusted when she looked at it because it had a small tear on the BACK, "we don't want this either". For being a manager at a thrift store where all iteams are DONATED, she was VERY rude and disrespectful. I'm sure someone who doesn't have a couch would have been happy to have it but I guess since it wasn't something SHE liked it wasn't good enough to be in their store, she should be fired. Im taking my stuff to Salvation army. AN ACTUAL NON PROFIT. DO NOT SHOP OR DONATE TO THE GOODWILL IN NILES MICHIGAN.
