Took my mother who has Dementia shopping. The clerk was a short older lady with glasses who has been rude on other occasions as well. This day my mother gave her the bank card while I stepped away to grab something for mom. My mother didnt understand that the food stamp card with a small balance should have been told to the clerk. I tried helping but the clerk kept repeating we have to know this info first . My mother even said I'm sorry I have Dementia. The clerk just kept saying we have to know if you only have so much on food stamps. My mother was embarrassed I was furious and there was no one behind us so we weren't holding up the line. This clerk needs a class on Compassion

Lost a customer.The entrance isn’t very nice with its broken front window and as soon as you walk in smells terrible. Was riding through going to pick up some water and pop, walked through the front door and lady behind counter tells me to leave my bag at the front of the store. Literally 4 other people I can see in the store with purses or large bags (all women by the way) so because I’m a man carrying a bag with my motorcycle gear in it I must want to steal something apparently. I responded with a no thanks and left.

Clean, and well kept. I do shop here to mostly to stock up on household/personal care products in order to take advantage of their sales and digital coupons, along with $5 off $25 purchase. You can't beat that! Every once in a while some seasonal decor may catch my eye and I will purchase those items. Great place to shop.

Place is under stocked and kinda messy. Two stars because the male working there treated me like I was stupid. I asked him if they had anymore fall tumblers and he gave me a snarky response and looked at me like I was stupid. I went ahead and asked another employee. She treated me a little better but you could tell she didn’t wanna be there or help. Don’t recommend this location at all.

Not the staffs fault. The way the company is run it's difficult to get anything completely done. It's a shame they treat employees like garbage. They don't have the time nor the staff to get everything on the shelves and expect management to work 70+ hours a week on a low salary. Decent prices if you're in a hurry.

I really enjoy shopping here, they ha e a huge variety! Id never shipped her before and the boy behind the counter found something I needed for me! I applaud this store and their staff. I recommend coming here!

Horrible customer service! Treated like I was an inconvenience.if anything is on sale it never rings up. Always check your receipt. It's a mess and smells bad! I will travel further to go to the new one . Never returning

My fiancée and myself went to go get some drinks, we didn’t grab a cart and our hands ended up very full. We put our items on the counter for her to ring up and our cashier had the BIGGEST attitude. I work retail myself and if i were to act like that i wouldn’t have a job.

The new store on second street in Niles looks AWESOME and CLEAN! Love the layout. Will take forever to learn were everything is. Lol

I came the store 10 mins before close and the door was already locked. The sign outside says you close at 9 , not 8:50!! Very upset and your two female employees just stood there

The Dollar General in downtown Niles and sometimes chaos as it gets busy and I will only have one cashier open well the people in the store are you there in the office or stocking things definitely need help on customer service

They didn't have any Headache Relief. This happens often. Either out of 81 mg aspirin, Benadryl, or headache relief. 2 for 3. Normal.
