Visiting from Indianapolis and stopped in here to get groceries. I was very impressed at the cleanliness of the store and service provided by the employees. Having all checkout lanes open AND baggers, who offered to carry my bags to my car, was outstanding.I worked as a front-end supervisor at Home Depot for 7 years and notice these things!I will absolutely be back next time I’m in Newberry!

The selection is okay, prices are good for a small town. The first time I went in the lady working there seemed really burdened by me coming in to purchase just two items. Every other time I came in I had different cashiers who were much more friendly.

Every time I'm in newberry, this is the store I go to. I enjoy the staff, and I appreciate their hours. Their location on the north side of town makes it a nice place to stop in and then head back up north. The layout of the store is nice and helps to set up an easy flow for traffic, and it's never that busy anyway. I also like their policy of loading up a cart and helping to bring it to the vehicle.

This store is both modern food selections and impeccably clean to a blast from the past with it's fine customer service and hometown feel. We ordered two large sheets cakes on different occasions and we're impressed each time. They were absolutely delicious and fresh. When I called to order someone picked up the phone right away and took my order. No holding forever and being transferred to different departments. The deli is also fantastic. Home cooked foods packaged for take out. They had everything I needed for feeding a extra large family. I was treated so kindly too. Do not pass this place up when in town. You will not be disappointed.

This was a great grocery store. We were camping nearby, and stopped in. They have a good selection with reasonable prices. Also, it was my in-laws anniversary and we had a cake made for them. It was delicious.They have all of their lanes open (which in post-covid times is a rare occurrence), and they have people bag your groceries and take them out to your car for you. It was the reminiscent of days gone by.

Great selection for a small town grocery store. Lots of nice employee to help you find something and will even help you out to you car with the bags. Rahilly's also has the best produce and meat departments in town.

What a fabulous small format grocery store! Well stocked with leading brands of all the basics plus local delights. We saw the ad for the store on the back of the Tahquamenon Falls State Falls map which reminded us to stock up. Employees were friendly, the deli counter BBQ ribs and potato salad we ate in the parking lot we’re so good we went back in and bought another pound of both! The displays made sense: easy to find the makings of s’mores without having to hunt down theee different aisles. The friendly guys who bagged our groceries even offered to take them out to our RV with these giant wheeled carts. We figured out later they must work better in a snow covered lot than a grocery cart. Still… such service! We don’t see that very often in Baltimore!

Well stocked with almost anything you'd need. Great selection of items and brands. Decent sale prices on staples. Deli with prepared foods for those who don't want to cook. Large store stuffed to the gills - if they don't have it, you can probably get by without it until you return to more urban areas.

We are from the lower part of Michigan and of course you alway's forget something well let me say I was so impressed not only were the prices fantastic but the service was OUTSTANDING!!!I am not use to having someone take my groceries out to the car in this case our Harley lol right there shows you this store is run by people who care everyone was friendly and again the prices were so much cheaper than where I shop so BRAVO IGA THIS STORE GET'S UNLIMITED 🌟 FROM ME!!

There are two full-service grocers in Newberry. Rahilly's is my favorite. Very friendly staff, fair prices and they support numerous local events and charities. Check in September for their annual bulk sale. 10# of bacon for $18? Oh yeah! My cholesterol is climbing just thinking about it. Don't overlook the clearance cart hidden in the southeast corner (frozen section).

Loved this store and the workers were so helpful! I havent been in an IGA since I was little down state with my grandmother when I seen it we had to stop for groceries for sure! Will be returning in a few weeks! Lookforward to seeing yous all! Thank you for being so kind and helpful! And really caring the bagger even took my stuff to my vehicle I only had a dollar on me never had a gentleman do that for me down state what a sweetheart!

Great selection of fresh produce, sells locally grown produce, great selection of other foods, has deli, bakery, lotto, balloons, cards, good meats, household products, dog/cat food, baby supplies, liquors, pop, chips, cold beer, organic choices, non-GMO choices...so much more... Fresh to frozen and everything in between. Staff is very nice and courteous as well. They will carry out your groceries and put them in your car. Yay.

Great IGA store. If you are heading out into the U.P. forests this store has most food staples you would want. Meat, bakery goods, fruits and veggies. Deli, Beer, wine and liquor, Good scotch. Also nearby restaurant that is pretty good.

Need to have better Wic service. All out of almost every brand. I was d from outta town in need of formula an since the recall on similac brand. Wic gave other options for formula they just didn’t have nothing in stock.

The people were super sweet and friendly! But...ya'll didnt carry my product. It may not be that popular up there, but those that come in from the south are addicted to Starbuck Double Shot energy cans and a 4 pack would have been great for my extended stay. I look forward to visiting again in the summer for the ATV rides!
