I recently visited the Family Dollar store in Newberry, Michigan, and sadly, it was a less than satisfactory experience. From the moment I walked in, I couldn't shake the feeling of disorganization and neglect.First off, the layout of the store felt haphazard and cluttered, making it difficult to navigate through the aisles. It seemed like items were randomly placed without any rhyme or reason, which made finding what I needed a frustrating scavenger hunt.The overall cleanliness of the store left much to be desired. Shelves were dusty, and there were several instances of spilled merchandise that hadn't been cleaned up. It gave off an unkempt vibe that was off-putting.The selection of products was also lacking. While Family Dollar typically offers a variety of goods at affordable prices, this particular location had many empty shelves and seemed to be missing key items. It was disappointing to see such limited options, especially for everyday essentials.Additionally, the checkout process was slow and inefficient. There weren't enough registers open, leading to long lines and wait times. It felt like the staff were overwhelmed and understaffed, which only added to the overall sense of frustration.Overall, my experience at the Family Dollar store in Newberry was below average. Between the disorganization, lack of cleanliness, sparse product selection, and poor customer service, I left feeling disappointed and unlikely to return anytime soon.

Wish I could give a 0 star review every time I go into this establishment there is never anyone at the cash register they are in the back and won’t help assist you because they claim to be (On their break) they definitely need better management.

It's actually The Best of Both Worlds because not only is it a Family Dollar it is also a dollar tree. They have a large variety of almost everything!

The building desperately needs to be updated. It always looks dirty in there. I'm sure the staff puts their best effort into keeping it clean, it's just at that point where no matter how much you scrub, it never looks clean. (Like the dated tiles in my apartment.) Since COVID more people are going to the Dollar General down the street just because it feels cleaner in there but there are certain things that Family Dollar offers that you can't get at Dollar General, like clothes, shoes, and accessories. That being said, Family Dollar has a friendly staff, a great selection of products for low prices and their sales and discounts are way better than at Dollar General.

It's amazing how every Family Dollar, no matter the city, the state, the country, the planet...it always feels like you walked into the exact same one. That said, we killed like, 40 minutes here, so what do I know? They're always pretty gross and the staff talks loudly to each other about their personal lives way more than they talk to you, but I guess that's just part of it.

The people and employees in the store are highly friendly very helpful I highly recommend this place there was one gentleman in the store that I took note of that helped me out and I want to say thank you so very much

Inventory in the aisles. Not enough employees. For hire signs everywhere. Why don't people want to work there? Makes me wonder. Sales associates are very helpful and friendly *****
