I'm so glad AJ bought this place and kept it what it has always been: a place of community. The nostalgia is everywhere. He's brought in new items as needed, and he's so knowledgeable about the seasons too. Great place to stop and go back to a quieter and better way of life

Nice place to check out. I bought a mystery bag, it had some jigs and soft bait for fishing. They have a little bit of everything here.

Duke's is the best place to stop in town for fishing and hunting gear. I've been visiting this place since I was a little kid and now I take my kids. Over the past few years it changed ownership and the new owner has done an excellent job 👏. Still feels the same but a lot cleaner and more organized.

Very down to earth very old fashioned but yet highly knowledgeable and they know the area and it is just a step back in time it is worth your stop anytime hunting license fishing bait even if you antiques up front that are for sale very knowledgeable people and even the guys that stop in to say hi and sit down on the in the corner up front definitely know their stuff too good selection of guns I'm not talking Bass pro selection I'm talking a good selection of guns for the area and very knowledgeable and worth stopping in it it'll take you back in time a little bit

gentleman at shop was very helpful to us on our visit in October of 2016. For us being to out of owners with no clue of anything we found him full of information and if I'm ever in the UP again I hope he's still around for me to use his vast knowledge of the area. I found prices in his shop to be fair especially in such remote settings, and left with a steal head rod and reel combo and line. my only regret is that I should have went ahead and bought the maps he was pointing out his favorite lakes spots on.

This place has EVERYTHING! Hunting gear and equipment, fishing gear and equipment, bait, permits, geocaching, Yooper light and agate hunting, flannels, sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats, boots, waders, gloves. . .......The list is endless.Very helpful!
