I went here to get a piece of glass cut for a project i have been working on. I googled how to do it myself, using either a Dremel or one of those glass cutter tools that scores the glass. Unfortunately, my ex-wife got my glass cutter tool i had as part of our divorce. She didn’t actually call out ‘I want the glass cutter tool’, but pretty much got everything in our garage. And the glass cutter was in a box in said garage.Now i just needed to shim off a smidge (that’s a measurement size pros like me use) . The Dremel diamond tip bit to cut off a smidge YouTube video looked simple enough. But apparently it was above my pay grade as i simply just shattered the piece i had.Off to Lowes…I met Selena there. She works there. I told her my story (above), and she didn’t make fun of me for using the word smidge. She also showed empathy for me in the fact that i lost my $7 glass cutting tool in the divorce. Sorta like a virtual hug to my ego of sorts.Then she got to work. Mad dash glass cutting skills and glass knowledge, she had. Cut up some pieces in the exact right size, she did. (Sorry. Talking like Yoda, I am)So i want to give a shout out to Selena (not talking Gomez here - but she probably gets that all the time). Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and all the other good qualities I can think of.I usually go to Home Depot, but every once in a while I struggle to find someone to help me even close to someone like Selena. So thanks Selena!!!

I came in this morning looking for a specific door sweep. I met a gentleman at the return counter, asking what isle I could find the part. He wasn't sure, so he walked with me to the person that knows the department and we searched it out together. The gentleman in that department was helping other people and had a line behind him. I truly appreciate that he wanted to learn where it was and to help me. I would have been there all day looking! My experience at your competitor's stores isn't near as good, so I wanted to thank you for great customer service. The past three times at the competitor's store I couldn't even find an associate or manager to help. You are my first stop from now on. Thank you!

Just stopped in for a few items and ordered blind installation. The staff was friendly and helpful. We also were able to use a discount which helped save almost 200.00 on the cost. The Orginal total was 735.00 for back sliding door blind and installation final price after discounts was 529.00 thanks!

C***** service come here quite a bit and it's the same thing all the time you're here for about 20 minutes to 45 minutes before anybody wants to help you. Is there an you asked for help? And then they all look around like their idiots. And then they searched their phone in order to help you

Always enjoy going to this New Hudson Lowe’s. They are well stocked, organized, clean and the staff is very helpful. I’ve been shopping here and doing returns here for 8+ years and even when things went bad, they made things right. I also appreciate the veteran and Purple Heart parking spaces. Very Military friendly!Special shout out to the customer service team up front They are fantastic!

As a wife of someone who visits on the regular, I'm not often here for myself. However, I always leave happy because literally everyone is the NICEST. I'm not joking, every single employee who passed us said hello and asked us if we needed help finding anything. You can tell they love their jobs and it makes my tagalong trips much more enjoyable.

Their new lighting is horrible, you can't even read a box with small print and their selection is even worse! I came in for 4 things and they only carried 1. Needless to say I left without purchasing anything and I'll never see the need to return.

Lowe’s is like that reliable girlfriend/boyfriend who will go out on a date but never really commits to a relationship. You can get 75% of what you need but never can be totally fulfilled :-(It’s clean & nice but you end up going somewhere else to find the final 25% Lowe’s didn’t have - I don’t know about you, but at some point you want to stop shopping around and go somewhere where you can get everything you need.

I went to the Lowe’s store in Lyon Twp this morning looking for an outdoor timer for our Christmas lights. They had one on the shelf, but I needed two. I ran into Ken, who scanned the one I had to see if there were any more in stock and he said there were over 200. He was so nice trying to help me find them. Then Chris started helping. They walked all over the store helping me look for them. And they found them! They were in boxes way up on the top of a shelf. Chris got a hi-low, got the boxes down, and gave me one. All that just because I needed one. They told me they didn’t mind at all because they needed to find them anyways so they could stock their shelf back up again. I really appreciated their efforts and would like to say thank you again to Ken and Chris for the great customer service!!!

Great selection and awesome staff. I also shop here because of the way they show support of our military and veterans. The MyLowes card is an easy way to keep track of what you buy but even more so it makes returns a snap and no receipt needed. Love this place. Still my favorite hw store. Updated 31Oct2023: also appreciate the parking spaces for veterans. Still my go to store.

Fantastic barn atmosphere. Giant barn doors at each end provide great ventilation. Giant heaters above each door as well. The only minor concern is the noise. When the main barn is full of people it is extremely difficult to hear the person sitting next to you.

Changing rating based on recent experience. Have had some good experiences and honestly the people involved in this experience were all pleasant people. But the end net result was NOT. Went in for a washer and dryer as the new home we got left not great ones. After shopping around we landed here and were guided to a set. Were told a particular color would be fine then they didn't have but then uptake to why the other color WAS better. That the model is brand new and hot commodity. It's flying off the shelf. We talked extensively about pedestals. Pricing etc. Then they didn't remember to do one thing resulting in having to stick around to re-ring. Not the end of the world. Then we had to wait a week for delivery. Then they forgot to ring the pedestals so it didn't show up on delivery. Then we had to go back up there. To which there was only 1 of each in stock but the price went up $50 each. Then we had to wait another week plus. Then that delivery guy didn't know how to install and they were scratched. Then it turned out there were no more in stock or being made ever. And NO others are made itto fit. Not carrying. Then they aren't allowed to install. So we had to do ourselves and there r screws in odd places so my floor got ruined. For the new thousand total spent this is unacceptable, we didn't really plan to spend that much and they aren't that great. Someone called and wanted to give us a refund but then said she couldn't because the store threw a small credit back. While I appreciate the effort it's not nearly helpful enough. Nor going to fix the floor. Or 6 calls and 3 or 4 visits up to the store. Clearly of all the kindness, no one really knew the truth.
