I can’t say enough about this office. I’ve had nothing but great experiences here. From their compassion when our family had to say goodbye to our sweet dog, to welcoming our new furry members. They’ve helped us through our puppy ingesting a mushroom to helping our other dog’s anxiety. The entire staff is welcoming and always ready to answer any questions. I appreciate their excellent communication and kindness. I’m so glad to have my dogs’ health in their capable hands.

I've been taking my dogs here for over 20 years. They always have my dog's best interest in mind. Very thorough group of dedicated women. I always receive thorough follow-ups from the office. The staff is always friendly and patient with me. They love Taco Bell, so be a good customer and bring them a nice box of tacos.

Kaitlin is an absolute treasure! A couple of weeks ago I took my German Shepard mix in for a routine visit. This was the second time Kaitlin assisted with my very anxious/scared dog. Kaitlin was patient, knowledgeable, understanding, and extremely caring towards both my dog and I. She always goes above and beyond to make things go as well as possible. I am thankful and grateful for Kaitlin.

We love Oceana Veterinary Clinic and Whitehall Clinic. Our dog has been going to Oceana for the last three years. We live part of the year in Indiana, and we choose to have our Aussie be seen in New Era. Their care and attention is always appreciated. They are quick on responses if we have any questions and always make sure we get in as soon as possible. Highly recommend.

Such caring people they helped us with are dog when our own vet didn't have time very caring they helped out are dog be put to sleep so no more suffering. I would so recommend them to everyone so so thankful for them.

Abosolutely love the staff at OVC! They were so kind and patient with my two girls. One being an older pittbull and the other, a 2 year old heeler. With each visit, I know my girls are well loved.

Took my dog in for nail clipping found a sore on the foot the assistant took Bubba to a back room and came back and said the Dr would prescribe a anti biotic then was charged for a exam by the Dr and was given the wrong pills they called and told me to bring pills back and pick up new ones and then charged me 20 dollars more unreal not my mistake but still had to drive 36 miles one way really feel if your gonna charge for a Dr exam at least Dr Horton could have spoken to me directly not had the aides doing the Dr job and billing for it

Reasonable rates. Professional, caring, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Online app is helpful. Addressed my post surgery concerns. Very busy so to me that equals good services. They are using progressive methods (laser surgery) so it seems vets continue their education and are not stagnant. Increasing vet staff and expanding to new location also shows positive growth.The only thing I hate about this area, is that the only emergency vet is in Grand Rapids. Seems like there would be enough demand in this area for an emergency vet or a vet on-call for off hours.

Switched our pups here recently. The communication between staff and pup parents is excellent! Our old senior dog is treated with dignity and not just giving her meds. She will always be on medication, however, it was refreshing to have a dr really dive in to her conditions and give us options concerning diet and really looking at the meds she’s on She wasn’t treated like an old dog on deaths door so what does it matter. Highly recommended!!!!

When you are told directly from the clinic that your exam fee's are included with the surgery and they try charging more than what you are told, that's stealing.I was just informed that due to the repeated returns with a dog that has a very well known issue physically and psychologically that's where the fee's pop up. Not before going in today, nor for his follow up 2 days ago, or after the last time he got re stitched a week and a half ago. Go in for a $15 dollar fee and they came at me with a bogus excuse for $388.I lost all trust with this clinic and I loved the care. But a professional that will blatantly deflect their miscommunication is sad. Not about the money but the fact of unprofessional expensive miscommunication. If it was actually communicated at any point I would've know and been prepared due to professionalism and paid. The owner just lost out due to the highway robber , not my dog and I. I get it's Christmas and people have reasons they nedd more money but I'm disabled with ptsd so my money and communication needs to count.

We have a long history with OVC. Approximately 18 years ago we had an emergency with our Carin Terrier "Misty". On a Sunday night Annalisa Horton met us at the clinic to help us with her. Her compassion, understanding, and caring was over the top. We had to put her down, we all cried. I told Annalisa then that OVC would be our clinic going forward. Since that time we have had to put down two more, Mya @ 13, and today, Morgan @ 17, both Carin Terrier's. We LOVED our Carin's! Today, Emily Pluger was our angel, really Morgan's Angel. She showed the same compassion as Annalisa did so many years ago. A shout out to Julia Hasenbank who sent Mya on her journey as well. My only concern is that if my dog was to need after hours emergency care that I would have to drive an hour and a half to get help I'm not sure where in the compassionate spectrum that falls, but it would be nice to have a hometown Vet provide emergency care. My dog would probably be dead by the time I got her over to Grand Rapids. That thought is upsetting. We need an Emergency Veterinary Service here in OC.Other than that, I'm pleased with the staff.

Staff was so sweet and friendly even though we were confused and came late to our appointment. Was given a very cute folder with Kitty stickers on it with very helpful information on it. As well as lots of smiles. I highly recommend going here.

We have been spending our summers here for 5 years and I wouldn't use any other clinic. All the staff is professional and friendly, but more importantly, they really care for the health of your pets. By the treatment we receive, you would never know we were seasonal clients! Took my dog to the vet yesterday, after being in Texas for 7 months. All the staff from the receptionist to the vet treated us like we had been in a couple of days ago! I can't say enough good things!

Great place and wonderful people. We just moved to the area and after having an excellent experience with our previous vet for the past 15 years, we were hopeful that OVC would provide a similar experience. Our 17 yo cat needed dental surgery this week and I can say we were not disappointed. The staff is caring and friendly. They were very clear on cost and what to expect as well as possible concerns. After the surgery the staff clearly explained post-op care and made sure we knew to contact them any time if we saw any sign of complications or slow recovery. Overall experience was wonderful. Thank you OVC staff and docs.
