Stop here in the AM for a coffee and my boyfriend and I decided to try the Ruben breakfast sandwich and to split a cinnamon roll. The staff were great and served us everything spilt up on two different plates. The lattes we both got were good. The breakfast sandwich is something we both agreed we would be back for. But the cinnamon roll lacked luster. It was somewhat dry, and nowhere near enough cinnamon.Overall the place was cute and had a good vibe. I would go back.

Best sandwiches in the area. They use Boar's Head meat and cheese. Fresh baked goods and bagels. The place is a total hit. I have been going for the last 10 years and the quality remains consistent.

Small local coffee shop/bakery in New Buffalo. Quite busy when we arrived but staff quickly prepared our orders. We only ordered coffees and teas which were good, but the pastries and savory items looked especially good and many people seemed to be enjoying them. Atmosphere is a bit small but could be cozy when not too busy.

Charming! Tasty, customizable egg sandwiches. We drove specifically to New Buffalo after reading reviews for this deli. It didn’t disappoint! Sat in the bright window area and watched the world go by outside and all the happy customers ordering inside. Great selection of baked goods. We added an almond and orange iced loaf slice as a breakfast dessert. Yum!

Nice little quick breakfast place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a vanilla latte and we also had a build your own breakfast sandwich and a cinnamon roll. The sandwiches were really good but we felt like they needed another egg. So not very filling, which could be a good if you’re in a hurry. It was quick and there is limited seating. It can get busy as all coffee places do, but there is also a small outdoor seating are. More Starbucks feel rather than a diner.

The best build your own bagel sandwich and oatmilk cortado I've had in a long time! My husband, our friends and I were vacationing in New Buff for the New Year's weekend and came to David's for breakfast and were blown away, not only by their food and drinks but their excellent service! They also have amazing lunch and pastry options! You've got to visit and experience it for yourself, can't recommend them more!Vegetarian options: Can build your own sandwiches without meat and their lunch options are very vegetarian friendly!

Coffee was good, as was the breakfast sandwich. Fresh, tasty ingredients. Unfortunately the sandwich was thrown together. Doesn’t affect taste, but not a goodimpression. Not cheap, but what is.That said, won’t be back. Order taker was huffy and in a hurry. Not that we were struggling with our order. I actually turned around to see if there was a line behind us we were holding up. Nope, not a soul. Besides, too many people behind the counter standing around to blame it on “being busy”.If I’m going to spend an arm and a leg on coffee, i’ll just go down the street to Starbucks, where you’ll be treated civilly.I wouldn’t call this place a “deli”, but to each their own.

Very cool spot for lunch, coffee, baked goods and more. Staff was super friendly and food was great. Really enjoyed the David’s Reuben and home made oatmeal raisin cookie. Plus, dog friendly tables out front. Definitely will be back!

Love their Intelligencia coffees and the fact that they have really inventive ingredients in their sandwiches...Everything fresh and delicious. Really great spot. Will definitely return. Worth a stop whether youre passing through for a quick bite or staying in the area.

I love a good deli, especially locally owned. This place fit the bill. It is small and quirky which is just what I was looking for. The food is fresh which is obvious by the coolers full of house canned preserves and fresh bread. The pickles are out of this world and so are the sandwiches. They offer some interesting indie sodas and juices. There is a reading room in back as well as a patio. I am looking forward to going back to sample the coffee.

No white Mocha at a coffee shop. The cashier wasn't listening to our order & kept asking questions. Then the coffees came out without being labeled & without some of the items he asked about. He said this one is this, that that. It was wrong. My coffee was awful. $7 for a bad coffee..I always want to give my $$ to the little place but would have been better off 2 doors down at Starbucks unfortunately...

Stopped here during a road trip and was so impressed! It is quaint and has lots of character. The staff were friendly and there are quite a few breakfast and lunch options. The latte was flavorful and smooth and the build your own breakfast sandwich was delicious on a homemade asigo bagel! If you're passing through New Buffalo I highly recommend this spot!

I parked my Stroller at a low top table and grabbed my son out to order. While I was about to order one of the staff moved my stroller and gave my seat away to a local. I needed the low top so I could sit and feed my son. Promptly put him back in his stroller and left and went to Starbucks. I prefer to shop and spend local but not today.

Delicious food! My favorite is a toasted bagel with egg and avocado. In summer it can be quite busy, but it is one of my favorite brunch locations. I would come here every day if there weren’t such long waits, sometimes out of the door.

Buy far the best Ruben sandwich I have ever had. Loaded with meat and flavor, very juicy and delicious. Although we live an hour and a half away, I will little literally drive back here for the sandwich! My love had a Georgia Turkey Reuben equally as delightful. Everything was fresh, it was very clean and staff was so kind. Can’t wait to come back.

Cafe in New Buffalo. Signage only on the door - can be hard to spot from the street. Amazing food. Prices are actually very good - especially for what you’re getting. I come here every time I’m in town, or when I’m even close! Best bagels/reubens/breakfast around.

This has been our go to coffee/breakfast/lunch stop for a couple of years. Their vanilla latte is amazing as the vanilla is house made and not the typical vanilla syrup that you would find down the street at a coffee franchise. Of all the various coffee shops I have traveled to, David’s Deli has the best vanilla latte by a long shot.My family loves their NY style bagels and of course the David’s Reuben. The sandwich is loaded with corned beef and sauerkraut. We suggest that you skip breakfast if you order this sandwich as it is huge …and it comes steaming hot.The folks that work here are the nicest folks - never ever have had an issue with service here.
