This place has so much! Liquor section is huge and just has their spinach pasta salad which was really good. Took a premade sandwich to go. They even offered to heat it up, which was really nice!

The store has a wide variety and good selection of fresh produce as well as shelf items. I loved that the end caps of a couple of lanes had items that were local and Michigan made. They also had a great selection of premade foods. If you’re in need of something while in town, I highly recommend stopping here to get it.

Very nice grocery store, I’m not familiar with the area was only passing through but have to say it’s one of the nicest general/grocery stores I’ve ever seen. They also gave a huge selection of alcohol, honestly more variety then most liquor stores; also have a section of Michigan wine. If your in the area I highly recommend stopping by for any necessities you may need. Hope this helps

First off I'm so glad they have local groceries stores still around in smaller towns providing customer's with everything they need along with exceptional service. There was a Manager named Isaac then went out of his way to help us find what we need and you could see that he cared about every detail in the store amd was very friendly. Got some hot fresh tasty fried chicken at a fair price and they carried speciality items that you normally wouldn't see in large chain stores. The liquor dept attached carried a wide variety for everyone. Wish they had more stores and people like this around everywhere!

I love this store. Very nice staff, fresh food, deli, fresh produce and meats. I’m rving, at a campground so right now it’s convenient. Love, love, love! And they have an old phone booth in front. Now that’s awesome!

Great grocery store for all your shopping needs. Eclectic merchandise as well as your every staples are available in this clean and friendly grocery store. Parking is also plentiful and convenient in this busy little town, so you'll always be able to get on with your shopping trip in no time. Whenever I'm in New Buffalo, I always make it a point to shop in this delightful little grocery store.

The girl with spectacles at the checkout was rude to me and my wife for no reason. I could not think of anything that we did that would have offended her. I don't care if she's having a bad day or what but that kind of attitude towards customer was totally unacceptable. What the hell is her problem ffs

Supposed to close at 9:00 pm but closes early. Locks the doors and answers phone before 9:00 saying “Welcome to Barney’s, we’re closed.” Wouldn’t have made the drive if I had known you don’t honor your hours!

Local beer, Check. Local wine, Check. Local liquor, Check. Barney's has a great selection of cold brews, wine and spirits. Stop in and grab a 6 pack and some fun cookies and floats for the kids. Enjoyed the Journeyman Bourbon and Apple cider shines at Barney's.

It’s well stocked and the people are nice. However it’s pretty chaotically organized and my 3 year old nephew almost got steamrolled by an employee pushing their stock cart a bit too excitedly.

No ground beef. Old looking turkey meat on the shelf. The meat dept was very disappointing. Just because the end of the season doesn't mean we don't need food. There can't be a shortage of beef.

Stopped here while on vacation. The people walking around the store are very friendly and helpful employees. The prices like a lot of things we noticed up here are higher. They did have a good variety of most things. Decent size liquor department in back.

Barney's is clean, organized and stocked consistently! Please remember while on vacation the employees are working effectively and efficiently as possible. They are putting in long hours and doing their best. Treat them as you would want to be treated. Without them your shopping needs while visiting wouldn't be possible. They don't owe you anything because you choose a busy vacation spot. Please be respectful and patient during your stay they deserve it!
