You Pharmacist Jill refused to fill a prescription I was willing to pay cash for because insurance hadn’t approved or denied it yet. Left me on hold for 11 minutes, hung up on me, then kept putting me back on hold when I called back without answering for 16 more minutes. My doctor finally called to set her straight, insurance is for payment ONLY! You are NOT a doctor, stop trying to dictate others medical treatments. I will be filing a complaint with the state licensing board.

Hard to believe this pharmacy is rated so low!! Maybe another customer had to wait a couple minutes more than they could & got crabby & short tempered - attitude goes both ways, & sure, not everyone is received with generosity of spirit once & awhile. Take a breath… This staff is kind, efficient & always helpful for me. I just transferred all my Rx to this store from CVS on 23 & Callens because they have been chronically out of my medications. Always out of something, didn’t know when they’d get it in… despite a med being ordered for years. So I have to drive an extra 1/2 mile to get to this Walgreens, somethings are worth the extra effort!

I recently visited the Walgreen pharmacy, and let me tell you, it was an experience like no other. Buckle up, because this review is about to take you on a wild ride through the aisles of absurdity.1. The Entrance:As I stepped inside, I was greeted by a life-sized cardboard cutout of a pharmacist with a forced smile. It looked like they’d been holding that grin since the dawn of time. I half-expected it to whisper, “Welcome to the Twilight Zone, where your prescription dreams come true.”2. The Aisle of Confusion:I wandered over to the allergy section, hoping to find relief for my pollen-induced misery. Instead, I stumbled upon a shelf labeled “Existential Crisis Essentials.” It contained tiny vials of doubt, existential dread, and a pamphlet titled “Navigating Life’s Pointlessness: A Beginner’s Guide.”3. The Checkout Counter:The cashier, who resembled a caffeinated squirrel, scanned my items. When she reached the antacid, she leaned in and whispered, “You know, these won’t cure your existential dread, but they’ll help with heartburn.” Then she winked. I blinked. Was this a secret society of philosophical pharmacists?4. The Prescription Pickup:I approached the pickup window, where a pharmacist named Mortimer handed me my meds. She wore a lab coat with a coffee stain shaped like the Mona Lisa. Mortimer leaned in and said, “Take these pills, my friend. They won’t solve your problems, but they’ll make you forget them for a while.” I left wondering if Mortimer moonlighted as a Zen master? Geez and put a mint in your mouth before speaking next time.5. The Exit:As I exited, the cardboard pharmacist cutout whispered, “Remember, life is just a side effect of existence.” I nodded solemnly, clutching my existential crisis essentials. Outside, a pigeon perched on the sign, cooing, “Buy one, question your existence, get the second at half price.”Conclusion:“Walgreen” isn’t your average pharmacy—it’s a portal to the cosmic unknown. If you’re tired of mundane prescriptions and seek enlightenment (or heartburn relief), this place is for you. Just be prepared to question everything, including your loyalty card points!

My doctor put in a Paxlovid script order at 11 am. Website said it would be done by 12. Then It said they were delayed and would get back with me. Forward to 2:30. My husband goes up to try and get scripts and was told they had no Paxlovid and none of the pharmacies around us had it, and that he needed to call the doctor to get a new script for an alternative drug. No phone call to let us know ! I called Meijers on 26 mile rd who DID have the medication and who got it filled in less than an hour! Thank you Meijer! Normally I wouldn’t even think about doing a complaint because I am a loyal customer. But this is not the first or even the 5th time something like this has happened. No phone call when a med. is not there, 5 people working behind the counter , yet there is ALWAYS a wait , and so many people who are looking for their medication and Walgreens doesn’t have it! How is this taking care of people? There is only one young lady, who has been there for quite some time, who is always friendly, helpful and seems to know about the patients and medications. I do not know her name, if I did I would call her out because she is a stellar worker among a bunch of seemingly half wits. I will miss her but sadly will not be getting my scripts from the Walmart in New Baltimore anymore. They have lost my trust and my business.

The worst service. Waiting over 10 minutes and they waited on 2 cars that came to the drive through after me. Woman left counter when I stepped up and the other lady waited on the man behind me in line. There was a girl with a tshirt dark hair and glasses and another lady hiding in the pill aisle. Never go bac there again

The whole Walgreens has 2 people working in it at all times, nothing more. Ridiculous. The cashier is always somewhere on the other side of the store.

The staff at this really helped me when I was in a urgent, distressed and panicked situation. I am Canadian and needed to arrange PCR tests to get home to my family after an essential trip into MI. The Pharmacy Manager worked with me patiently, efficiently and creatively to make sure everything worked out, and I will be eternally grateful. I wish there were more people like her in this world!! My family and I have always had nothing but positive things to say about this pharmacy until today. Allison the pharmacy tech is just rude! I was so proud of how my wife handled herself after being spoke to in that manner. My wife just said either she hates her job or is just a rude person and not to worry about her. Unsure how she's is able to talk to customers that way.

I’ve always been very happy as a Walgreens customer before I starting visiting this location because of convenience. I’ve had nothing ur problems when it comes to any prescriptions or photos being printed. The manager, Mary is extremely rude and not exactly someone I would put in charge of dealing with the public. This location actually charged me $60 extra to my credit card after I had already left the pharmacy. This is never happened to me anywhere. My insurance had to fight it. Now after dealing with Mary on the phone at the photo counter I am done bringing business to this Walgreens location. Not only was she rude to me on the phone but even worse to my husband in person. Also Mary made sure to let me know they stop working around 9:30 over there even though their hours are until 10 PM, so not to keep her waiting. This phone call was at 7pm!Extremely disappointed with this New Baltimore location. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

This pharmacy is the absolute worst! I decided to give them another chance, even after last year they kept losing my scripts and info. They filled my script yet when I went back they had no record of ever giving me anything! Well that’s dangerous! I even had the bottle with the medicine name, their address and phone, yet their computer had nothing. She stated it must’ve been a computer error and I had to call my DR and have ANOTHER script sent in. Next they had me wait 3 hours while my son was having an asthma attack for an inhaler. Waiting so long, it was faster for me to run and borrow one from my sister. I return to pick it up and get home to find they gave me someone else’s prescription in my bag labeled with my sons name!!! Next visit to this pharmacy to get my heart script. She states it will be ready in a couple hours. I return and she states she had to order it. 4 days later now she states they lost my insurance info. Than they can’t seem to input it correctly in the computer and asks me to just pay cash!! Transferred all our scripts to Kroger. They are lower priced and process scripts quickly WITH OUT errors. Do yourself a favor and drive a little further for safety reasons and pharmacy accuracy.

This Walgreens location is phenomenal! The retail workers are very helpful and nice, they always stop to help the customers by making sure they’re finding everything okay. The pharmacy is great as well! They work so hard even though they are short staffed. They’re always so friendly even though they get a ton of flak for being short staffed, honestly people should give them more respect. Thank you for your hard work!

GREAT service in the pharmacy!!!!!Ms. Linda is a great person and a great person to help anyone. I dearly love going there because they are honest with me at the pharmacy. The people at the photo counter and the pharmacy are great people to buy things from, if they do not have something in particular, they will tell you. This honesty is great to me. Keeps everything open and above board.

Literally THE SLOWEST pharmacy I’ve ever been to in my entire life. If you need to pick up a prescription from this location make sure it’s not anything you need immediately because you’ll likely pass away before you get to take your medicine. Obviously that may be a stretch but in all honesty you’ll wait a minimum of 20-25 minutes per car.

at like 8:30 we walked in the store with three of my friends one was my sister she was 14 and a girl named Emily yelled at us for laughing because my sister told a joke and it was very funny,she yelled because we were laughing but she thought we were laughing at the Walgreens products.And then when we stared walking out of the store and she said why are you laughing Still and my sister said ma'am that is none of your Business and then she Demanded that we leave the building.

what do i even say about this place anymore?! hands down the worst pharmacy ever! i schedule a rapid covid test 2 days ago for this location. i get there about 10 minutes early and sit at drive thru for about 10 to 15 minutes before being acknowledged. so far, no big deal. but then:wg; "how can i help you?"me: "yes i have an appointment for a covid test"wg: "we don't have any."me: "what do you mean 'you don't have any'"wg: "we didn't get any swabs for the rapid test"me: "ok....so what should i do?"wg; "you can try one of the different pharmacys. do you want me to call our other 23 and gratiot location and see if they have any?"me: "no that's all right i really don't want to drive back that way during rush hour. i'll make some calls and check online at home. thank you"I MEAN REALLY?!?! i actually got a reminder email this morning for my scheduled appointment after work and i really needed to get this test done TODAY. they could have at least contacted me during the day since they had all my information! So thank you for wasting my time and making it so i could not get a test on the day i really needed it.Oh and a side note. my wife used to use this pharmacy but we transferred to another because the level of competency shown then was absolutely the same as today. i always resisted the urge to leave a bad review about that but i've finally reached my end with this place.

Pharmacy is always super quick and always has my perscrprions in stock. The inside store is always neat and organized and the employees are always eager to help me out even when I don't ask for help. I'm thankful to live nearby but if I didn't I know I would go out of my way to specifically go to this one.

I LOVE this pharmacy! They always have my perscriptions on hand and never take more than an hour to fill. I really, really like Pam not sure if she is a tech or the pharmacist but she treats me as if she personally knows me. Only pharmacy I will go to.

Literally the worst coustomer service always some kind of issue and it's the ins fault Ins has been the same for years nothing has changed but without fail every visit there is some kind of issue or delay where you are forced to wait there or on the phone 30 minutes for them to say we got it figured out will be moving to a diffrent pharmacy

I ordered medicine for my pet. I couldn’t find it anywhere. I went to Walgreens in new Baltimore. I was told it would be there by Thursday four days later. When I called to check on it’s status. I was told maybe by the following Monday they’d have it. So I called , I was told no it didn’t come. We don’t have anyone to call we just wait until it comes in. WTH!!🤬

This is a clean store the girls are always by the registers and always help you with your coupons. The photo department always has your pictures ready when they say they will.
